Very compelling examination and overview of the book’s theme and coupled with some deep seated insights of your own! This following excerpt stood out to me.

“Sinning is most broadly defined as “missing the mark.” This means that we sin every time we fail to hit the bull’s-eye. Sin is nothing more and nothing less than a failure to be continually perfect. Because it is impossible for us to be continually perfect, we are all sinners.”
We are all truly sinners and fallen from the glory of God and His holiness; never perfect not even close! I see how Satan turned against God and willfully plotted against God’s perfect will and his kingdom; which was absolute transgression against God with Zero Love; totally willful admonishment of the Almighty who is Perfect and Holy! Since then Satan drags any of us around in the quagmire of filth and sin all he can making a mockery of us all, and seeking to eventually pull us away from God into Hell!

I see how actually by this book’s assessment that we are all evil, because nobody out there can tell me that they’ve sinned a particular sin and never repeated it or never went on to another sin that was just as wrong! Selfishness is sinful just as gossip or any action that is not meritorious and a best shining example of human behavior! I think we all have been stupid at times or just plain lazy about keeping up the highest standard of behavior that we are capable of; though Saints come close for sure! I know I screw up every time I let things pile up and get the better of me emotionally, and then I cuss or in anger point my finger at some really bad people in the world, but, conversely though I’m nowhere near as bad or sinful as some of those I’m speaking about; but could they closely examine my life and behavior and find that I’m blemish free? Never in a million years because I have been soiled many times with my own breakdown of behavior or sunk to a point where I did something, anything even anger or derogatory speech, all sinful and knew it was; but nonetheless went on and did it thinking it’s not a big sin or it won’t hurt anyone but me!

“…11There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. 12All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” 13“Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.” “The venom of vipers is on their lips.”… Romans 3:12

Sounds like the state of politics and ways of the world such as MSM and Hollywood today! At least I’m glad not to be one of them! Again my aim was as long as “it won’t hurt anyone but me!” That was always key to me which was not to hurt another, but, hurting myself and making a fool of myself is wrong too and beyond stupid; it is something I’m sure our heavenly Father is not expecting me to continue doing!

Romans 8: and then there is this that opens up the outlook to see with sincere and honest eyes tapped directly into the heart!
“8 there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,
4 that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
5 For those who are according to the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace,
7 because the carnal mind is enmity against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so it be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.

I look at it as “degrees of evil” which can breakdown as to how detrimental and destructive are the actions I or another take that we consciously know are wrong yet go ahead anyway and perhaps steal a candy bar because the opportunity presented itself. Or as you mentioned how a person will stab another in the back with slanderous lies or gossip to just put that person down out of jealousy, reprisal or true contempt for others because of a self-loathing madness in the hearts of some people; who want to inflict hurt on others because they hate themselves and maybe even life overall. Then there is of course those individuals like Fauci or Gates that know full well what scam, “LIE,” they are perpetrating that effects millions and even billions of other human beings negatively and don’t care! This is a screwed up place when we admit it, and how does one just ignore it, or avoid it all without hiding in a cave and just talk to the natural simple earthy critters; but no human beings!

We are between a rock and a hard place for sure so we must try out best to put on the “Armor of God through Jesus Christ,” and that won’t mean we move forward without missteps or not fall into any snares, traps and societal ills, just being a part of tis hellish mess soils us all; the crap rubs off very easily. I know from experience people backstab and set traps all the time and they’re truly wicked and sick souls to do it, but, that’s reality! I think what I really want to say is all of this can be tempered with the concept of knowing what is truly “Diabolical!”

Straight out Hitler was such and now we see people like Fauci, Gates, Biden, Pelosi, Soros, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Klaus Schwab, Xi Jinping, Putin, Ayatollah Khomeini and many others who are fitting that bill to a “T”!

I want to hopefully recognize diabolical people who hide well behind those social status facades, or even the much darker demonically possessed souls that are not agents any longer of simply living a broken human life, but, are cohorts of Satan which do exist all around us and are schemers on steroids, and then some!

This world is falling away and the most diabolical forces in existence are unbridled and loose now in spades!

Genesis 3:17-19). “In other words, perfection was lost. All of creation is now falling short of its original purpose; rather than working in harmony with God and creation, inhabitants of the earth have turned on each other and against God.”

It will not and cannot end pretty!
