This is totally out of control and Private Corporations or in essence very wealthy individuals or groups attached to such people and these especially massive digital communication entities are monopolizing communication and doing what they please to restrict who they want to prevent from being heard and in many cases kept from bringing out the truth. There needs to be more FCC, FTC, and neutral public watchdog groups involved as I see it to level the playing field of free flowing communication between people on social media platforms as long as some basic rules are followed by all who communicate via these platforms; such as typical restrictions on pornography, or threats to others of bodily harm or any form of outright harassment and stalking of others. Just as antitrust laws and rules were necessary during the buildup of the Industrial Revolution to stop and then prevent hostile takeovers of one company over another say as in the case of oil companies back in the early 20th century or to keep any one company from restricting free enterprise and trade competition by manipulation, intimidation, threats of violence and other means of manipulating in order to gain control, something similar needs to be put in place with all forms of digital communication to prevent just what is happening with prejudicial and manipulative tactics being applied to monopolize the free flow of ideas and communication between individuals with each other or to a larger public audience! What we have now is powerful groups or persons bullying others who don’t conform to the bully’s agenda or mind-set. This is outright discrimination and interference upon persons who have as much right to carry on communication with others as the rest of the population using the venue.
