I understand why and how you could be feeling this way! Not to be facetious but there is so much in this world now to cast doubt; but I say, does anyone actually have an absolute alternative outside of tuning out and vegetating? Lots of followers and some leaders in this world, but, can any one of them say that what they follow or why they lead can bring just one of them to an Eternal Life without Jesus Christ! There has never been nor can there ever be in this material finite world any such opportunity other than the Lord; who is the King of Heaven! He is the only Way and Answer so anything else is a lost cause! Amen.

I have a confession to make: I am really struggling with the church. I say this as someone who is currently getting a degree in theology that is traditionally used to work at one of these churches I am having a hard time getting on board with. A stat I found from 2021 onchurchleaders.comreported that 70% of youth leave the church when they graduate high school, and only half of them return a decade or so later. I have seen other sources that say 50%. I am not going to claim to have the scientific data for church attendance trends, but there is a general consensus that young people are leaving the church, and they are leaving it fast.
