Serve the Lord not this World

Deliver me, Jesus. From the desire of being honored. Deliver me, Jesus. From the fear of being despised. Jesus, grant me the grace to desire it. That others be praised, and I be unnoticed.

I’ve learned as I’m sure many have that fear is the tool of the Devil and anything unholy that will use fear because evil is inherently weak having no power over children of the light and power of the Almighty. “Today too many people fear the things of the world or material loss; but they do not fear God! Many don’t even think He exists; rebelliousness.” Lucifer started that way! FEAR GOD.
