Proverbs 12:9-11 “Better to be lightly esteemed yet have a servant, than to be self-important but lack food. 10A righteous man regards the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are only cruelty. 11The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies lacks judgment.”

God bless.
I always liked Morgans.
They were very patient and gentle but you could use them as work horses or for riding.

Exactly and such a beautiful animal for general all around riding as well as work say as in pulling a wagon or coach! Most of what I know about horses I owe to my beloved grandfather teaching me as he had horses from his boyhood and when I was growing up he took me to horse shows or to see a bit of harness racing; also along with his having some ponies and burros which were both Jacks and Jennies that my siblings and I got to ride around on the property. I also must thank my Grandfather for my deep love and appreciation of animals in general, such a blessing to be born into a family with such a man as my grandfather whose heart was so full of kindness and love.
I also during my high school days had a friend who owned a champion Morgan. They were extensively used during the Civil War on both sides of the battle.
