1. Thank you sister-in-Christ Joanne for the fine insightful sharing of your understanding through the Holy Scriptures that you provide here! A year ago I cut back my own internet time which had become more of a trying to keep up with all the many news articles or pundits as they related to the global politics or current affairs along with a flood of daily email which was too time consuming. I’ve restricted my current intake to just a handful of Word Press blogs and a couple of independent news sites. I’m happy that your blog is at the top of my list as you always provide and offer so much in the history as well the understanding of our faith through such a knowledgeable perspective!

   Just moments before seeing your comment here I opened an email that was addressing the matter of how the Holy Spirit will not enter a soul that has even a shred of pride as it were, and this was speaking to the idea of truly submitting fully to the will of God. I think I have a lot to learn in this regard and at times fault myself for being a flawed human sinful man which furthers both my anger with myself and my sorrow for not being good enough to God! I know it is He who is the Master Potter too and can shape whom He will to fit His righteous purposes just as He did with our beloved Apostles and fully illustrated that great things are always possible when we truly “trust in The Lord our God!”

   It’s always very helpful to hear from you with your wide knowledgeable perspective as you said here in this excerpt; “reading through John’s Revelation and thinking about the four basic ways scholars approach this book, I find myself struck time and again with how each perspective really seems to fit.” I love that because that is something I wouldn’t fully consider doing if not for your bringing it up and helping me to realize that a proper overview which brings to bear all of these viewpoints is certainly best if one wants to broaden his or her understanding and wisdom when it comes to our actual reason and purpose for existing in the first place, as to what God expects from us! I do ask now in pondering all of this if I’ve overlooked too much over time regarding my own viewpoint or perspective of something like these crucial Scriptural verses!

   John 14:12-23 “12Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If you ask Me for anything in My name, I will do it. 15If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him.    This key element of the “Comforter” regarding what Jesus Christ said as to our not being left as orphans, which I now ponder helps me to also realize what you’re saying here about the four basic ways scholars approach this “Book of Revelation” perhaps all being equally relevant! And yet how to me of the greatest urgency is how so much more of the “spiritual perspective” is needed, as perhaps even “current revelation” if you will, that could come via the Holy Spirit!

   Yes I didn’t think of that and discounted the latest papal declarations as heresy or severely flawed; to me more like a politician which he has appeared to be like on quite a view occasions! Here where you state, “It sounds like he is trying to give both sides of the equation grace and room, sort of walking a middle ground, if there is one.” Which by the way if memory serves me well regarding previous visionary statements along with the Book of Revelation pointing out what signs to watch for just prior to the “Second Coming” and the “Final Battle of Armageddon” as being preempted by a “false prophet” who would be this sort of Church leader character to usher in the time for the antichrist’s appearing on the world stage! Of course there is all the fanfare regarding this current pope’s being illegitimate very much like our current White House occupant; as well his not only being a Jesuit but a hardcore Marxist Free Mason/Illuminati Globalist Player.

   I very much agree with you on how turbulent and how troubled the whole world is now with so much fracturing of humanity and pure madness or hate brewing throughout, so much that compassion and empathy seem to be waning severely!

   Sister Joanne you “hit the proverbial nail on the head” here with this statement; “I so wish we could pull together as believers and be -for- something important, rather than be torn apart with so much controversy.” I so solemnly agree, but, I know with the way things are going it won’t happen without God’s direct intervention in some big way, and sooner rather than later; because as so many Christians believe quite correctly, a time of the “Great Tribulation” will come!

   I point blank say that I remember how so many people back in 2015 said if Trump were elected he would bring on WW III and the nuclear destruction with it! But he actually had things calmed down pretty well and that nightmare scenario wasn’t happening; yet now we’ve never been so close to nuclear annihilation than we are right now with the present group of players running the global show!

   Oh thank you for this; “And, by the way, you reminded me of the third chapter of Peter’s second letter.” I’m going to read and absorb that straightaway!

   1. I just mentioned above how I lost all confidence in the medical profession or actually the Industry Machine it’s become over the years and there are some exemplary individual doctors still out there in this teetering chaotic world!
      Here is just a tiny fraction of my reasoning and experience I had nearly a decade ago that I extracted from my court case file which is over a foot thick; compiled when having to literally fight for my life on a number of levels, even taking control of my own legal case in the court system! What this correspondence was in actuality was a letter I wrote to a most saintly woman hero doctor I had been blessed with having miraculously come into my case by divine intervention! By my own determination and faith in God along with her vast knowledge and compassion we made sure my case wasn’t kicked to the curb like so many are, of that I’m sure!

      Meanwhile, as I mail you this letter I wrote early one morning about Purpose and Sacrifice, I’m going to include a copy of the letter that I sent to the Judge presiding over my case. As you know from previous conversation I had attempted to resolve the entire case with a good faith proposal I made last June to the Insurance Company/Employer to no avail. What they offered after their so called entire analysis of the case was a far cry from anything that makes any sense to me or anyone familiar with all of the sorted circumstance and underlying details of my case. Unfortunately, I found out that because of the current laws, this was an outcome that isn’t very surprising or that offers much opportunity for modification. And so, now I must try another methodology to navigate through the maze of current circumstance to seek out the best possible outcome for me in this very difficult situation. I could opt to shine a spotlight on the entire matter to bring to the surface all of the underlying factors and deficiencies that brought me to this point and continue to make it a very difficult situation to find real Justice within. It appears my only real shot here is to try and reinvent myself and put my best foot forward to reestablish all the previous success I enjoyed prior to my work injury. This is all a very long shot and a last ditch effort on my part to work within the tight confines of the present system of Workers Rights here. I’m certain that if this type of injury had occurred in a private non work setting the settlement amounts would be quite substantial.

      I’m taking this time to explain myself a little more about my current mind-set so that you will know I fully agree with everything you have said all along and any attempt I make that runs contrary to what you, the court, law or anyone else says, is only being done as my last resort to make my life as whole as it was before my injury. I’m demanding that the system allow me the chance to at least try this approach, otherwise I believe there would be infringement upon my basic Constitutional Rights of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness, along with Due Process under the Law to seek any true Justice in this kind of complicated case. I didn’t cause this Complicated matter, but, unfortunately I’m the one now having to navigate through a very perplexing set of circumstances without much of a system behind me. As I’ve stated on the record several times and in many conversations with pertinent individuals, it appears so far that the only real human compassion and help I’ve received thus far has been by the hands and thoughts of you my Doctor and your accompanying staff. All others involved in this travesty only want to appease the system or say that their hands are tied.

      Folks its a very cruel and vicious maniacal world out there; so tread carefully!

   Veronica; I believe this is quite to me obviously true! I do wonder of course if this is biblically a true precursor sign revealing the appearance of the antichrist on the world stage.

   Scripturally it does seems to fit and as I perceive things the human race is ripe for the master deception with the advent of the high tech digital era and trans-humanism (human AI cyborgs), (Elon Musk and others development of Brain Chips) now on the verge of being implemented; “man playing God” totally blaspheming him and would this not be the ultimate betrayal, transgression sin against Jesus Christ and the Father which Satan and the antichrist would provoke, ultimately causing the truly lost or damned to worship Satan fulfilling his evil desire to be as great as God!

Even holding back from admonishing those two publically loudly professing to be Catholics from receiving the Holy Eucharist during mass!

   This anti-pope during the run-up to the 2020 election couldn’t do enough to prop up Biden and the “Deep State Elitist Globalist Plans” but made certain to stab Trump at every turn all he could with many a vicious statements!    Turning tail and running is not a man’s worth if he truly believes in the Lord! Take a stand, say like Archbishop Viganò; now that is someone I admire and know is just, but, not those that say they know better and run!

   Let’s recall who Judas was and what happened to him! He who was a direct in the presence disciple of the Lord and look what evil he did! That alone should be enough to scare the hell out of anyone who gets some highfaluting idea about knowing better or going it alone, and that mistake has been taking place for millennia or since the foundation of the church was laid!

   Another sad point of contention that I read about in a recent study is this; how a majority of the youngest generation have shown that “they live for pleasure and entertainment” or as I say “distraction to the point of delusion” in this warped culture “full of lies!” Now think of all those youngest among us being like “ready to pick ripe fruit” for the father of all lies, to use and abuse, so that he can own them for eternity!

   People have to wake up fast and pray fervently every day making Jesus Christ their meaning and purpose to live, so that the Holy Spirit will teach and lead them unto paths of righteousness, as they instead do the will of our Father in heaven; making sure that they will be in paradise forever.    TSAR apparently you are so wise that you can make such blanket statements to knock or condemn a mountain of evidence to the contrary; and you must be a theological expect of some kind not pulling this opinion out of thin air! Guess what, I’ll hold fast to the truth that I know and all the rabble-rouse attackers and even devils out there in the wide world can kiss it as far as I’m concerned, and by golly they will when their time comes to meet our maker! I too like Mel can meet a person and know if they are wrong inside and I’ve also gotten to where I recognize that same defect or more aptly even corruption of heart by their words and actions without meeting! I was actually in the Dream Factory years back and left that world just when it was about to open up to me big time, for this very reason I speak of today!

Sister Joanne what is pointed out in this YouTube video I provide is that there is a vital message of Truth being hidden or camouflaged to the multitudes being deceived by all of this blatant falsehood contained in all of these stylized “self deference” views of what Jesus Christ manifested and God intended in His Final Everlasting Covenant with Humanity, that comes directly from God Almighty through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ our Savior and Redeemer; not anything men like Joel Osteen or others sell to the masses!

   They don’t promote salvation but rather self-glorification and I say damnation! These absolute false prophets that speak abomination are outright blasphemers of God and His Holy Word! People all over the planet are attempting to do what Lucifer did when he said; Isaiah 14:14 “I will ascend above the highest clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

   Genuine humility and being a true servant of the Most High and a disciple of Jesus Christ is all any lowly human being should seek to do before God’s judgment arrives!

   I admit that to any sane and humble person this can be a hard lesson that we must all reflect upon in our own lives in order to try our best!

   Are any of you about to leave America for better pastures, now that you have obviously also witnessed its decline into the mire percolating up from hell?

   Faith isn’t faith unless it is tested even regularly; yes my friend “the proof is in the pudding” as the old saying goes! Do you actually think your announcement that “you left long ago” is “amiable and brave or even wise of you?” If so that is a pity to me! My prayers are also offered for you and anyone of that accord!

   And I suppose some of you like others think they can point to a church that isn’t stymied by some bit of corruption or imperfection; especially modern day sprouting up from practically nowhere ones? I have attended some different denominations and observed firsthand the many fallacies within them! Joel Osteen Pastor of Lakewood Church Texas and too many to count around the globe; have gone over the edge and into deep trouble, becoming very corrupt and self-serving!

   Our words and thoughts conveyed through them can be poison to others, especially when it comes to matters of faith in God, and that is a huge responsibility to carry, so we must be very thoughtful and seek “God’s will” before we shoot off our mouths to the world! Because by doing so we actually make proclamations that can bring us favor with God as one of His true “servants,” or the sting of death, the second death, for “blaspheming” Him and serving the father of all lies! I would pray that you reconsider all of your previous thoughts and decisions regarding your own faith. Amen.

   Turning tail and running is not a man’s worth if he truly believes in the Lord! Take a stand, say like Archbishop Viganò; now that is someone I admire and know is just, but, not those that say they know better and run!

   Let’s recall who Judas was and what happened to him! He who was a direct in the presence disciple of the Lord and look what evil he did! That alone should be enough to scare the hell out of anyone who gets some highfalutin idea about knowing better or going it alone, and that mistake has been taking place for millennia or since the foundation of the church was laid!

   Betrayal is a most evil sin and God said so; so don’t play with fire and think you know all the answers and got it together well enough, “to go it alone” or you could literally “jump from the frying pan into the fire!”

   You are in danger as you either don’t see the truth clearly or you are “making excuses to cut and run!” That is not deep committed faith to the “Church which Jesus Christ Himself” established, and placed upon His lead “Apostle Peter” to continue!

   Matthew 16:17-19 “Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven. 18And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it. 19I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

   Glee; so very true what you’ve said here, and you pointing out “election fraud with the denying of the gospel” is candid and to the point of the most crucial matter at hand for any devout Christian, and of course those who must awake to God’s truth soon!

   The sad but harsh reality is that multitudes are giving lip service to the gospel and also in vast numbers many who profess to speak for God and serve His will are “wolves in sheep’s clothing” only using it as a tool for their own devices, and even for the most diabolical of reasons which is to serve Satan! We see this example in plain sight of Bergoglio seated in the Catholic Church but there are other examples like it in many churches, as well as in many seats of government authority, where “those in power are wicked” and only serve themselves and the beast!

   Another sad point of contention that I read about in a recent study is this; how a majority of the youngest generation have shown that “they live for pleasure and entertainment” or as I say “distraction to the point of delusion” in this warped culture “full of lies!” Now think of all those youngest among us being like “ready to pick ripe fruit” for the father of all lies, to use and abuse, so that he can own them for eternity!

   People have to wake up fast and pray fervently every day making Jesus Christ their meaning and purpose to live, so that the Holy Spirit will teach and lead them unto paths of righteousness, as they instead do the will of our Father in heaven; making sure that they will be in paradise forever. Amen.

   TSAR apparently you are so wise that you can make such blanket statements about the Catholic Church to knock or condemn a mountain of evidence to the contrary; and you must be a theological expect of some kind not pulling this opinion out of thin air! Pray tell, advise all of us as to the roots of your Christianity and its subsequent modern time Church that you know to be so correct and in accordance with, this is the key, the “Father’s WILL” as through all the prophets and of course Jesus Christ Himself along with those chosen in His presence Apostles!

   Tex it sure did! And let’s ponder which leading governments or even private organizations out around the globe have not been or are not now infiltrated with diabolical characters or forces at work in them! Let’s point out WEF, WHO and the UN just for starters! I’m sure we will find a pattern or dots being connected! Also the flood of Illegal Aliens into America is loaded with individuals that are corrupt, evil, insane, anti-Christian, vicious and quite a massive number out of the millions are demonically possessed!

Guess what, I’ll hold fast to the truth that I know and all the rabble-rouse attackers and even devils out there in the wide world can kiss it as far as I’m concerned, and by golly they will when their time comes to meet our Maker! I too like Mel can meet a person and know if they are wrong inside and I’ve also gotten to where I recognize that same defect or more aptly even corruption of heart by their words and actions without meeting!     This sentiment reflects our predominantly non-Christian culture but it’s a lie. Because…what does make you happy? Is that happiness long term? Is it reliable?

    Chasing happiness is a fool’s errand because happiness is fleeting. Remember that

    childhood Christmas gift that you were just dying to receive? And then, once you got it, how quickly it tarnished, faded, or you simply lost interest? Then, on to the next.

    Our founders believed in “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” How did our

    founders, who created the most successful and generous country in the history of the

    world, define happiness?

    Not the way the world defines it, trust us.

    For the founders, happiness was understood (in Aristotle’s terms) as fulfillment of

    one’s purpose. This, of course, implies purpose behind one’s life, that we were all

    created and not evolved from some primordial goo.

    So, as Christians, how should we respond to the “Do what makes you happy!” crowd? By doing only things that make us happy? Or by doing only things that do not? Is there a “happy” medium?

    The Christian admonition is do things that are pleasing to the Lord, and in pleasing

    All I can say to this is that we all should be on our knees sorrowfully praying for our redemption and salvation while we have the opportunity! Repent now!

13. A really awesome chair for sure! I immediately had to say after just reading the intro with its mention of this chair, “all is well that ends well,” which dovetailed into what I’ve got to “sort out” in my own life and there is plenty to sort! Then came your mention of back pain which I’ve experienced over the years on a very minor and infrequent basis for which I’m thankful, because I can ascertain from others including and especially my own dad who always had it with “sciatica” severely, having a “bum back” as he mentioned when I would grill him as to the why and can’t something be done to make it stop! The miraculous thing is even with his physically demanding trade he never complained or wanted any sympathy, as he explained how he just has to “live with it and accept it as a part of his daily life!”

    Then just yesterday I was watching a video with two PhD Theologians talking and discussing sin and the worst types that can bring on severe darkness in some cases, very sad and frightening stuff to say the least. But, what rang out at the time and then now, was a point one of these men made note of which was, “if a pebble is in my shoe and causing quite a lot of discomfort” how he suggests it’s better to not rush to remove it and be so overly concerned about that discomfort from a “self” perspective, but rather to “instead take it in stride and offer it up for blessings to others!” This reminds me how my dad when I was just a kid and really wanting to figure out why he had this back problem with so much pain, “it’s not right,” all his suffering it seemed to me so I wanted answers! He would remind me how “it’s all part of life and learning to accept and cope with the things we’re not able to change and be glad for all the good we do have focusing on that, while then realizing there are good reasons for everything which we may not know or understand presently but how eventually we will if not in the here and now then down the road or even when we leave this world!”

    Oh wow, I think I get it now and how of course pain is part of life here in this world and who can’t see that! But, dad also said in his very brief responses to my long winded queries how “we have to learn to take the good with the bad;” so of course if nothing is perfect here what kind of fool would I be to think that just because “I don’t want to accept this innate fact” that it should all be made straight or problem free by my say-so. Now you point out with your explanation of “the fine new chair” how its primarily about “learning to adjust,” and don’t we ever make adjustments in life continually as “change is a necessary component” to an existence where nothing remains the same or stays in some idyllic state of being; not in “the here and now” at any rate. So I add I was impressed with the mention of how you got the harsh reality from your medical experts and then how you still do what you began with Jim, when you both wanted to have an exercise plan in place to maintain the “flexibility and mobility” while “strengthening” as best you could! You are very proactive and quite wise to not allow any rut to develop from trying to meet the challenges that life is always throwing at us! And I absolutely agree with that yoga perspective of yours, which is how I’ve always seen it since my teen years, when sisters of mine or fellow students and friends would rave about it, but, I didn’t get it as I always saw it as ridiculous and strange and how it didn’t even begin to compare to my taking hikes out in the natural world or along the beach, and just plain old cycling all over town, perhaps stopping here and there to have a chat with someone I hadn’t seen for a while.

    Sweet little Ian, is so dependent and obviously even closer to you now than ever not having dear Clarycat about! There it is that “adjustment thing” happening to everyone and everything making life a non-stop challenge; but, I say always worth the effort and hanging tough as long as it takes, and onward to the finale, can’t let anything including “life” itself get us down which this essay is a “great testament to that core truth.” I am of the mindset as I’ve stated before of being a kind of “Don Quixote Man of La Mancha” outlook no matter what happens, because I see how this dichotomy of the living is a mixed bag at best, of “the good, the bad and the ugly;” yup that was a good title for a story, play and made for a tremendous film to boot.

    

    Very uncanny that your writing is so contemplative for me and precisely hones in on specific thoughts and concepts that just over the last 24 hours have had me churning inside, in a sense very much soul-searching, and grappling with my own as they say personal tragedies or demons. This last 24 hour period has been revelatory and was triggered by what those theologians were discussing, but now with your writing here some things are truly crystalizing for the better of course, and just prior to reading your finely written essay I had thought about a particular scripture that has me quite humbled as well as very concerned! I share it here because I do feel deeply how it’s so vitality important for all human beings to consider its core meaning and message to take to heart.

    Luke 6:41-43 “Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye? 42How can you say, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ while you yourself fail to see the beam in your own eye? You hypocrite! First take the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 43No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit.”

    I’m not trying to preach, but, I’m saying publicly how this has me shaking in my boots, because I see clearly, how I, like probably mostly all people can so easily shoot off my mouth about one thing or another that I see as so off the wall or wrong about quite a lot of people, but, then how about taking that proverbial mirror or prism I’m aiming at them and taking a long hard look into it, “so I see as deep as possible into my own soul first and foremost!” Yes it’s a new year and I don’t go in for making resolutions so much as to say only this; “that maybe this is a great moment in time to have an accounting of myself in order to clean up my own act; some real self-actualization!” Mom always told that, “there is always room for improvement and practice makes perfect!”

    I know how difficult it is, how you say you find it hard not to cry when thinking or longing for Clarycat, I do that whenever I think heartily of my recent loss of Penny a year ago and even all my past animal companions, and of course our empathy is a great thing and never a waste of time!

    The artistic and graphic design enhancements you have incorporated into your blog site are very nice and well done for sure; the photos are beautiful and strong positives as usual! Maybe one day I’ll finally decide I should stop being so blasé and get out of my rut and improve my own site, which is long overdue but time and motivation are lacking at the moment. “I have Bigger fish to fry” as they say, and more important “priorities” await my attention presently.

    Oh and this, “Dante’s Commedia (Hell, Purgatory)” sprang out to me as fitting my mind-set over the last 24 hours as being something I recalled reading back in my college days which I’m considering as being quite fitting in reference to “the beam in one’s own eye,” worthy of a reread soon!!!

    The following except also grabbed my fullest attention to contemplate its full meaning!

    Now that is just honestly too hard to contemplate for me and way too sad; thereby “I activate my hope for brighter visages and unimaginable beauty yet to come!”

    I’ve gone on a bit much so even though I could expand much further on what your writing has triggered and inspired in me, I will “call it a wrap for now!”

The frightening truth of what kinds and the extent of criminality that exists presently in our Nation’s Government and society at large is beyond shocking and more akin to the realm of Apocalyptic! I just heard Tim Kennedy a former US Army Green Baret Officer now entrepreneur good causes organizer say on a podcast that the percentage of criminals and solider type males getting into our Country daily at one illegal crossing point is easily a thousand! And most unsettling is the fact that the lion’s share of that group of illegal invaders are from China and other South East Asia countries! But that doesn’t even scratch the surface of the huge numbers of get-a ways getting in daily along the entire Southern Border, most of which are here for nefarious purposes; all of which are sworn enemies of America and we Citizens!
    For all practical purposes we are being invaded and this is an act of war against America! Then consider how dilapidated and actually insane our society is becoming with screaming going on all over the country about are evil America is and how men should be able to compete in women’s sports as females because they are transgender have the same rights as other females! I think about my own sins in life and the mistakes I’ve made that I hate and wish I could have been a more perfect model human being and citizen; even though my sins are your everyday garden variety of sinful behavior that most males partake of throughout their formative years.
    This leads me to think about the pure truth of how limited each of us is to truly make any major difference not only in being a as close to perfect human being for our own personal sake’s but to really have that impact on society and many other persons; what I can actually do outside of praying and dreaming to have an real effect on changing things for the better is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction amount of difference! The only one who can change this paradigm once and for all and make it what it has to become in order to repel that Armageddon effect that is coming at us all, is God Almighty!
    Yes we should all try our best to overcome temptation, laziness, arrogance, selfishness, materialism and all other vain human behavior, but, we all should start by praying to God to help us be as strong, virtuous and forthright as we possibly can as we move toward utter chaos which is waiting for us just down the road to perdition. Pain can be a compelling force for good! Not only to heal our own hearts and minds but to help others to do the same.

At risk of being overbearing or too far off topic, I’m so inspired that I decided to add this just in case someone out there is really having a hard time or struggling with the cacophony or even the dire-straits that they see in the present direction of education in America and our newest generations of youth; to such persons this presentation will be of some value and even relief. I know Ellen and others associated here of course are quite astute and tuned into education which I greatly admire and appreciate, so my hats off to you!
    Watch the whole Podcast if you can take the time its worth it for sure; but if you’re a harried person who is used to spreading yourself thin on multitasking and can’t relax for an hour then at about 40 minutes in start listening to this portion about education and it will be well worth it!

Moving further away from the “human element and spirituality into more artificiality” will never provide the human heart and soul what it needs most which is “humility and love of God” the Creator of the seen and unseen world! “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.” (Matthew 4:10)

    Look at society or even governments and industries now in their state of “reeking with corruption and lies upon lies,” which is exactly what the father of all lies, the prince of this world prescribes to those foolish enough to believe him! The Devil even tried to tempt Jesus in this way. Matthew 4:8-9 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9“All this I will give You,” he said, “if You will fall down and worship me.”

    Of course Jesus then spoke the absolute truth from God the Father.

    Let’s face it things are in a state of frenzy now with attacks coming from all directions and sources even upon each other, so this fever pitch to me spells out how Satan has such a powerful grip upon so many “key players” if you will, and he is “pushing the envelope” to the limit now as his time is drawing to a close at some point perhaps sooner rather than later; his only consolation being to pull as many souls as possible away from our Lord Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ.     Yes of course there are those most beautiful children of God that live such chaste and remarkably faithful lives and they are prepared! But Scripture does point out how there are and will be so many “asleep in Christ” not giving any heed to what they are doing or may befall them at any moment, “like a thief in the night” he will come and that says so much I do believe, as to this fact of so many “asleep in the Lord,” as to their not being prepared for the “Bridegroom” which is also as you know in Scripture, relative to the historical analogy of the time, how the bride was prepared and then all would suddenly leave to proceed to and attend the blessed wedding at an unannounced moment that the father of the bride decided upon! I get teary eyed thinking of how simple and clear God has made these things for we children of God to see, but, today way too many distractions and “pomp with circumstance” causes so many to think in such an aloof way, to say all of that history or Scriptural truth is now just “old fables;” not relative truth at all to many! Look what many of our so called leaders and politicians were saying over the last several years about how the US Constitution is just “an old outdated document” and we see how “they had put no stock in it” only working to circumvent it at every turn or not wanting we Americans to live by it any longer, but rather, to take on a new way of seeing and doing things, which will “only serve the most nefarious” and “tyrannical” out there in the “crooked ways of the world!” Our Constitution which I believe was God inspired and designed by decent God fearing Christian men of that time, to now, where it will just be scuttled if they have their way!

    Luke 12:55-57 “And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It will be hot,’ and it is. 56You hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and sky. Why don’t you know how to interpret the present time? 57And why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?”

    I’m beginning to question what most people have always it seems assumed as to the time of the “Second Coming;” and I tend to see this following statement as at least possibly valid as to some person or persons being able to interpret the “Signs” that will be evident prior to or heading into the most cataclysmic event in the history of the universe since its creation!

    I actually thought about this following verse of Scripture that they also refer to as very poignant to this point of contention.

    Acts 1:6-8 “So when they came together, they asked Him, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. 8But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

    But, I see where they acknowledge that nowhere in Scripture does it indicate that God has or will reveal to anyone when the End Time will occur! In this regard I only agree that we should always be trying to “prepare ourselves for judgment” that can come at any moment, in order that we be found worthy and then “enter by the narrow gate!” I have my difficulty with all of this in that I see Scriptures state we know when “harvest times” are near or when a “massive climate event” is approaching; so will we not be able to ascertain “Signs” of impending judgment coming upon the world? Sodom and Gomorrah is clearly an example of the bringing forth of impending catastrophic doom by outrageous human sin, the consequence of which then being imminent; but those people were obviously not preparing themselves to be worthy but rather living like all that mattered was their own greed and lust or even self-worship thereby being judged accordingly! This points out clearly all of which we see decadently abounding in the world today throughout societies, or on the internet alone it’s so over-the-top folly and madness to such a massive extent so much of the time. If I could call a generation a “lost generation” or one where the “blind lead the blind” it sure has that look on a massive scale!

    So this leaves me with the quoting from the book of Matthew the following Scriptural verses.
    Matthew 24:32-34 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branches become tender and sprout leaves, you know that summer is near. 33So also, when you see all these things, you will know that He is near, right at the door. 34Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.”

    I say with all respect, because I see how some of you are knowledgeable in all of this; but how I can even feel it perhaps I should say, deeply in my heart and soul, that it sure seems like our Lord is “right at the door.” Is this possible as to “End Time Revelation” or in the very least He our Savior is via the Holy Spirit with the Father coming close to those who are of that mindset and of humble heart to inspire, instruct and touch us so as to awaken us to what is coming? He did tell us that we would “not be left like orphans” and I tend to think He our Savior literally walks with us if we have turned over or “given our hearts to Him” and seek the truth. “Knock and the door shall be opened” is a basic foundational tenet and truth from God!

    I agree 100% and when I brought my own mother to the theater as we watched and Jesus was handed over for crucifixion the poor dear woman hurried out into the lobby crying and saying I can’t look at Him being tortured!     My rock bottom came one night and I felt terror and despair throughout my being. I made no excuse for my sins, I begged for God to forgive me. I did not want to ever sin again. I did not ever want to disappoint Him again. Immediately after my prayer to Almighty God, my guilt vanished, my suffering from it vanished, my self loathing vanished. I had genuinely felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit, I had genuinely experienced what I had heard so many give testimony to, I had genuinely felt the burden and the guilt of sin lifted from me and in its place was left the most incredible peace that no song had ever prepared me for. It is indescribable through words, truly. I was a man who constantly doubted everything, who made negative, everything. I have always been difficult to convince of anything foreign to me and yet of my Salvation there is no doubt. My anger is gone, my envy and greed is gone. My wicked desires are gone and I have a love for this Supreme being we call Almighty God and a desire to only serve Him and worship Him now and always. My every thought is of Him. I feel Him in everything, I see His work in everything. I cannot stop thinking of Him, I don’t want to stop thinking of Him. I weep everyday with joy thinking of Him. This is why we were created, to worship Him, to serve Him and to love Him forever. When I think of Heaven, I only want Him. When I think of eternity with Him, it’s not long enough. I have literally stood inside a door and pulled myself into the jamb and held it tightly wishing it were Jesus Christ and longing more for Him than my next breath. I cry because I can’t contain what is in me and I don’t know how to express it into words to tell others. It overwhelms me, it consumes me and I want more and more. I’ve never been more certain of anything and I want to grab hold of unbelievers and shake them into submission yet I cannot. I can only tell them what God has done for me and that He revealed Himself to me and pray that one day they too will understand the truth as I have.

28. Beautiful overview of these different Book of Revelation End of Time interpretations! Initially though what stood out to me was this; “The Hebrew prophets uniformly predicted a time when God would physically remove evil, and bring physical restoration just as God spiritually conquered evil and brought the hope of spiritual restoration.”

    I’ve been actually specifically thinking while I’ve been doing my own soul searching yesterday and today taking account of my own shortcomings and what seem to be failures in my own eyes, perhaps dropping the ball, but, only because I wonder if I could have done even much more good over the years than I had; due to my perhaps making a wrong choice on my path in life or not fully appreciating something placed directly in my path for me to act upon and fully utilize any such opportunity! Then I wonder did I pass up a golden opportunity somehow thinking I was making the best decision, or was I acting on my inner deep “spiritual intuition” (the Holy Spirit speaking) to change course and thus “avoid many pitfalls or even temptations” that could be overwhelming if I leaped into waters “over my head!” Not actually self-doubt now as much as it is “sincere reflection” in wanting to “truly understand my place and purpose” in all of this enormous existence that “God created for His purposes” that is perfect, of which we are truly the central reason for it all!

    Very cliché to say “Let go and let God,” but I do after reading this realize something that came to my mind today as I was troubled with my “contemplative prayers for answers” that “there is always hope with God” and if anything seems to have gone astray or awry years ago or even today, that in the scheme of things “relative to God’s purposes” “there really is nothing to fear or regret” because “with a genuinely sincere humble heart which is seeking God devoutly” one way or another things are going to work out just fine and “the light from God will overcome all darkness, doubt or concern.”

    Then what you stated here is quite poignant as it indicates a reality to me that applies to all who live in this world if they even care about the light of God one iota; “Apocalyptic literature becomes especially meaningful for those who are suffering. When our lives are already terrific, a beautiful future has less impact. But when the going gets rough, it helps to see the light at the end of the tunnel, to know the last page of this story ends well.”

    This should be relative to all who live in this fallen world where “suffering is a key or central component of the human condition” of “the dichotomy of struggling within material life’s daily challenges” and ultimately “we all absolutely suffer” in some way, growing old and even facing death, which can come with old age or suddenly in some tragic traumatic way; all of which is no picnic! But, even aside from these factors we can see so much ugly suffering going on every day throughout the world, and that is so horrible to me, that I can only reconcile all of this harsh reality to which I’m sure we agree here in our shared belief, that “with God there is always hope!”
    Just last night I was reading how Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta saw so much dying and suffering every day while she tended to the dying or suffering souls constantly around her in such a selfless manner! Something I would find so hard to carry on and do day in and day out; and yet here I am worrying about some decisions I made decades ago that altered the course of my life for sure, but not knowing what might have been if I made a few different choices that were right in front of me; could that have been better or the actual right thing to have done? But the truth is, I’m here to do one thing; and that is “to love and serve God,” to do His will is paramount so who am I to say, because regardless of choices I made as a mere imperfect fallen human being, that God can and does use any and all outcomes to serve His ultimate purposes!

    Romans 8:27-29 “And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. 29For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.”

    Do we all just sit and stare at all of this like the proverbial deer in the headlights before it gets clocked, which I’ve personally actually witnessed when driving semis; and it never ended pretty as I’m sure you are well aware! I love wildlife and deer especially touch my heart; while I do try to love humanity as sorry ass and selfish as it’s become for the most part, I must try my best to do the “Christ Imitation” with my own life which is damned hard these days with so many backstabbers and cheating liars all around! We live in a vicious time and world now; bloodlust is a sport taken to new never imagined heights and is practically boundless; I mean just look at this internet cyber for the most part fake world; then imagine taking a stroll at night in a Blue State big city alone or even with a group in NYC or Chicago!

38. Sister Joanne, as usual a beautifully explained and illustrated exposé! I want to be frank as to the nerve some of the theologians strike in me with their interpretation of reality in this matter, not to be argumentative or brash, but, to be totally honest and productive! I know you can help me to see the finer details and know the truth better in this matter for sure! Of course you know me as a man who tried to speak his mind boldly; with the caveat I should hope, “to bring clarity and discernment!”

    We can conclude that Martin Luther with others “led a rebellion” but in the end that rebellion was the “wrong action” because it led to a “scattering of the flock” and many unhealthy offshoots of the original were formed because of it; this the work of the Devil. Say for example former Jim Jones with his “People’s Temple,” an evil preacher who led 909 souls to their deaths and perhaps hell; which I certainly hope not, through God’s grace!

    Another example is a current so called preacher Mike Murdock in Texas, running his commercials of so called faith on television continuously in a loop. A real scam artist and wicked evil man, as I see it an antichrist, who is “using and abusing” the Bible and God’s word for “material gain” (wealth) or “money” the root of all evil, with his speaking of “planting donation seeds” by his followers that will be multiplied to “reap a harvest of money!” I’ve watched him online and see only a “Flim-Flam Man!” I’ll put it another way, he’s no Billy Graham, not by a million miles!

    No those men in ancient times “created a multiplication of division” and a “massive scattering” which has to be the work of Satan. With 2 billion Christians worldwide divided or separated even further into “thousands of denominations.” Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Baptist, Apostolic, Methodist — the list goes on and on and on. Presbyterians now “promote abortion” as a church edict saying it’s “a good thing” to abort innocent human beings! This has all become a “blasphemy” of unprecedented proportions, a true “abomination” of what Jesus Christ Himself brought to humanity and gave with “His blood on the cross;” that surely has to anger God; and Judgment is coming swiftly now!

    I say working with the original Church and not fleeing from it but gathering the heroes within, the saints and truly devoted to Christ, who then in turn strive to improve the faith of the Church from “within it,” that is “a best policy with merit;” rather than Luther’s rejecting and fleeing, in essence “tossing out the baby with the bathwater!” I see nothing to admire in Martin Luther who to me was “a coward and traitor!” That said, I must add there is “no doubt” that over the centuries many corrupted individuals, devils themselves, have entered into that Church gaining a greater foothold to further “destroy it from within!” Something we know communism is very good at; it being an ideology spawned directly from hell, by Devil worshiping madmen like Lenin and Marx! So “the battle is within and without,” even now here in America; bringing us to the frenzy we now witness in the entire world, “heading toward hell on earth!”

    Arch Bishop Viganò who presently has been a warrior for God in the current Original Roman Church, and who during the Plan-demic was one of the few in the world, with a position of stature in the public eye and Church, who actually spoke out continually against the wrong or harm being done by this fraud, even contradicting the Pope who as I see him was only caving to the “Globalists and NWO Cabal” stating that “all should get the jab out of love for others!” Isn’t it Satan, who is the “Original Rebel and Destructor,” which should tell us that is the only reason this modern day world, is a continuous nightmare!     I totally understand the wide band of academic coverage you practice in your study/research at such a level of historical/biblical context of what has been interpreted and put forth over the millennia in order to have as clear and concise an understanding of the truth in this vitally important matter for humanity so as to have a complete view of God’s Church on earth!  That said you explain this extremely well in my humble opinion and your study now only broadens your knowledge, understanding and wisdom relative to the subject at hand but that too of the readership following along seeking more insight such as myself included!

    I don’t for a second think I understand enough or see all these things as they truly are or should be considered in relation to what Jesus Christ Himself would point out to me directly if He were physically here to do so!  But, of course to those who truly seek Him He is here in Spirit to guide and protect us from falling into disillusion, misunderstanding or any quagmire out there in this fallen world!

    You did mention here in this fine dissertation the protestant perspective or the way in which they have handled things or do now when specifically speaking about Roman Catholics and I have to be blunt I have my problem with them as they truly at times are antagonistic or even wretched in their slanted or as I see it fouled up perspective of what Jesus Christ by the power of our heavenly Father ordained and did not!  I’ve written a few essays over the past few years where I delved into this quagmire of disagreement mainly because I was attacked directly by some Protestants online and too others I grew up with, some around me in close quarters, even so called friends at the time who all brought about “trouble or plain stupidity” at one time or another being “thick as bricks” as the saying goes!  Lacking for sure any of this “tender mercy or sweet kindness” that I refer to with the example of “Saint Henry de Osso.” Of course I couldn’t have known him but from what I read about him and some of the historical record he most certainly exemplified some of the best Christian traits that any of us should try our best to “practice in our own missions” or stations in life, as we hopefully try our best living the lives God has given to us here on earth, until we can be eternal with Him! 

    I know that Protestants often times point fingers at Catholics saying, “way too much pomp and paganism ritualistic behavior” in the Catholic Church; but to that I say, so they think it’s all so wrong and God hates all they do, and then what about turning that mirror around on themselves and taking a “hard honest to goodness look at what they are or are not doing,” and I assure you I know, plenty, from what I witnessed over the years! 

    Just the missionary work that so many Catholic nuns and priests have done throughout the centuries is highly commendable and any of those folks that devout their entire lives to quite humble selfless missions, say like Saint Mother Teresa of Calcutta; I can’t find any fault at all in them!  I’m sure you see how those who are on the attack and this subject in particular strikes a nerve with me, and I have good reason to be turned off by those attackers, some who are real Catholic bashers!  Other folks are just conditioned or brainwashed; perhaps needing to open their hearts and see the light of God more radiantly, and even so, I pity them for their slanted bias and outlook!  Oh wouldn’t it be so beautiful and beyond imagination, for God to get all of humanity here on earth on the same concise page, and for all humanity to finally see His truth absolutely; for this we pray!  “Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, amen!”

    Why do I cry when I think of these devout Christian persons, St. Henry de Osso andSt. Teresa of Avila from long ago and read about them or what you just said about Henry here?  To me it can be only due to the fact that they are beautiful souls and I know it would be so fantastic if I could only be that good, and what a world it would be if most people were such as these!  I knew a priest so well like an ally for around 15 years, and during a massive hardship of my own he was so instrumental in my overcoming so many obstacles with many hours on end conversations and then my gaining insight to get me though the battles that were very difficult, but I found I could do it and did!  I do regret that during the Plan-demic the world lost this really good man who I consider quite saintly; as well many people knew him in this way, but to me he was being a true brother, mentor, teacher, fatherly and saintly!  I even see his passing as “a sign,” and if I’m not wrong about this it means get a move on people, “our window of opportunity to get ourselves right with the Lord our God through Jesus Christ is closing faster all the time!”

    By the way Sister Joanne, I absolutely agree with you so please understand me when I sound off in any way shape or form in such matters; at times I’m “sure and steady” but at other times I “fumble one thing or another!”  Of course as the professor and scholar that you are, you must always offer the “broad band view” of what is really going on in the Church throughout, and with regard to theology for sure!  My nerves might be delicate at times, but I get it, it’s always best to see the fullest picture that we can find, especially us novices out here like me; and you do offer the real deal as I see or understand your work here!  “Absolutely commendable and rich with truth!”

    You gave us a mountain of truth here staring us in the face, for all to see and there really is no excuse to not be aware of this “foundational tenet!”

    He is called the Good Shepherd for this very reason that He won’t let us be lost and tries to continually save us from this world but also from ourselves, foolish little sheep that we are!

My attention was drawn to a man’s comment back in 2021 saying he was “sad by how cell phones are taking over so much.”  He was responding to what I had said; “how we shouldn’t be fooled by what is going on in this High Tech modern world.  And how not that long ago it was enough to have phone booths and a landline at home to keep up with family, friends or conduct some business calls when available.”  

    A new comment from the woman who wrote the essay stated that since she had written that essay in 2021; “phone booths are now completely obsolete there.” This comment notification came just at the start of today, Sunday, to my email account and I had just awoken from a sound sleep, but was compelled to take a look at my email account, and at the very start of the day to the minute there was her message!

    Another new comment from another woman said, how she had been, walking along at the university on a beautiful sunny day, but how it was so odd to see all of the many people on the campus staring down into their smartphones, so she wondered “if these smartphones make us dumbdrones?”  To which the author of this essay, that just wrote her new comment to me about the phone booths answered her by saying; “Almost Zombies?”  That is exactly what I’ve been saying for a couple of years now, how people are becoming more “Zombie” like or “Automatons” and that “smartphones are for dumb-people;” as I see all of this “high-tech circus as a preemptive conditioning” and part of a bigger plan to “take control of humanity!”  Now we have guys like Elon Musk, Bill Gates and many others that are progressing very rapidly with “brain chip technology and AI;” all of it not for a good cause I assure you!  So then finally I went on and responded in length to that comment by that man back in 2021 as follows.

    It is sad, as it’s a massive sign of the totalitarian control and manipulation of the masses that is being implemented by the beast system which will be headed by the antichrist.  Yet multitudes of people don’t get it and only see convenience or simple thrills, allures, distractions, pacification, mental/spiritual intoxication or an altered sense of reality and feeling of security that this device possesses for them!  And in turn these people are becoming obsessed and even possessed in the process (controlled whilst sacrificing their autonomy or true freedom)!  The push of 5G is for a purpose which is not good and very bad things I believe will happen to people once this worldly man-made power and control is pushed to the limit; all tied into the Plan-demic jabs. 

    What is my point to all this; if you haven’t turned to Jesus Christ in order for your immortal soul to be saved for eternity in heaven, get working on it quickly!  This world is doomed and all who follow the trickery, these crooked ways of world are doomed with it!

A lying out of touch with reality Leftist tried to punch my blog essay with pure horseshit. Here is a tiny piece of those lies; “Our forefathers did not form this ‘one nation under god’. If Satan is alive in America, it would be through that lot who want to gut our Constitution.” He was referencing Patriots and devout Christians in America, to which the opposite applies!     “Honesty was once the hallmark of character. But it has been set aside with an “It’s all right as long as you don’t get caught” philosophy. How do we get our values so mixed up? How do we fall into this trap of Satan? For one thing, we’re shortsighted. We look for shortcuts to happiness. Our lust for immediate pleasure prompts us to think of evil as good.
    In one of novelist John Steinbeck’s books, he has a character saying: “If it succeeds, they will be thought not crooked but clever.” In our desire to achieve success quickly, it is easy to get our values mixed up and call evil good and good evil.
    How can we get our values straightened out? How can our warped judgment be brought into line? How can we stop calling evil good?
    Some tell us that education is the answer to these questions. Prove to people that crime doesn’t pay, that illicit sex is psychologically harmful, that excessive drinking is harmful to the body and brain, that honesty is the best policy. “Let knowledge redeem them,” they say.
    Others say that science is the answer. Science can make a clean bomb. Science can make a harmless cigarette. Science can cope with the problems of alcohol. Science, they say, can tap the brain of man and alter his desires and make him civilized. Science, some proclaim, is the answer to the problems of man. “God has not changed. His standards have not been lowered. God still calls immorality a sin, and the Bible says God is going to judge it.”
    But the Bible, which has withstood the ravages of time, tells us a different story. It says that we possess a nature that wars against us, that seeks to destroy us. The Apostle Paul said: “I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good” (Romans 7:21). Evil is present in us disguising itself as good, controlling us and deceiving us. Sin is why the atonement was necessary. Christ died on the cross to make us one with Him—dead to sin and alive to righteousness.
    Man without God is a contradiction, a paradox, a monstrosity. He sees evil as good and good as evil. That is why some people love evil and hate that which is good—they are still in their sins. For them, life’s values are confused. Paul found the cure for his violent, destructive disposition, not at the feet of Gamaliel or in the culture of Greece, but on the Damascus Road when he met Jesus Christ. Later he wrote: “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:2).

50. I have to ask does the human race continue on this path or does the greatest awakening in the hearts and minds of God’s children of all time stand before us as His plan unfolds!

    After all isn’t the human race primarily the opposite of this in thought and actions or behaviors.  Today’s world is a world where people love all the pleasures and trappings of the world over God and most seek selfish material gain and certainly not to live a life of servitude and be completely humble or chaste in all regards!

    I ran to it and saw that it was crushed and sadly it was a very special one that I’ve known for at least a few years that had one eye missing and now I saw its only eye pushed out of its socket from the crushing injury it received by a vehicle that I’m sure the driver was as in most cases driving far too fast for the conditions and even if the rabbit was seen the driver didn’t care or wouldn’t be able to stop quickly enough to avoid killing it. I was extremely upset and crushed inside thinking how I had watched out for this rabbit over the years being sure to leave it various seeds in the predawn hours during the difficult months when the pickings are slim and I would sometimes go out to do that and while I began to leave the seeds I would suddenly see the rabbit by my side calmly watching and happy that I was there! 

    I realized I had to watch an old News-Reel type documentary, “War in the Pacific,” a compilation of black and white actual war recordings with narration. I watched and as I did I thought so poignantly thinking like never before what a crazy messed up human race with all of this history over the millennia of wars and killing each other and it will never end as long as people are on this earth living in this fallen state and its all falling away more obviously than ever before!
