Hi Joe, its good how you face the reality of what you did and how it affected your life. I see how we are all surrounded with so many temptations in this world that is seething with corruption and sin now that I’m older and wiser; because I once had a more nonchalant footloose fancy free outlook. That was because I did avoid substance abuse but knew and worked with quite a few individuals who were slipping down that slippery slope to catastrophe. One guy I worked with was getting so bad that one day during lunch hour I saw high take a handful of Perocet tabs and wash them down with a soda and he didn’t know I saw him do it until I brought it up, but, then he told me he’s fine, it just takes the edge off; because he has so much pain he has to in order to get through the day!  The drug class name “Oxycodone/paracetamol.”

“Oxycodone/paracetamol, sold under the brand name Percocet among others, is a combination of the opioid oxycodone with paracetamol, used to treat moderate to severe pain. In 2019, it was the 59th most commonly prescribed medication in the United States, with more than 11 million prescriptions.” Wikipedia.

I really had no idea at that time how additive this drug was but learned over time how almost common place it was, and how so many people would slip into this status of being a user daily until some of them didn’t show up for work or even people I knew in passing through my work, would not be around and then I would find out like this one guy, that he had a heart-attack and didn’t make it. I really felt bad about that and had tried to understand what is wrong with this world and people that this shit happens so much; I had really tried to talk to that guy several times not sure what to say other than, hey man can you try really hard to stop this before something goes wrong, of course me at the time not having a clue how additive this habit and need was for him and others I ran into!

But back to my thought about temptation, I do know about that because if any of us are really honest with ourselves we have to face that truth that the imperfect broken, fallible human flesh condition leads to many possible cravings of one kind or another, which can even be food or sweets which has always been my weakness, wanting all kinds of candy or pasties way more than I should have. And it is a lucky break I guess that I still haven’t become diabetic, which might be due more to a high metabolism that just burned off the frequent consumption of the sugar highs I was giving myself or feeding my habit with. I know this doesn’t even begin to come close to serious drug addiction but it’s still a biochemical dependency process of altering brain chemicals as you know. But naturally releasing endorphins does help reduce pain or increase pleasure to improve one’s overall sense of well-being without the unwanted often very dangerous side effects that go along with drug and alcohol use and abuse.

These chemicals produced by the hypothalamus and pituitary gland in response to pain or stress do have a beneficial effect at times being in this group of peptide hormones which both relieve pain and create a general feeling of well-being or even euphoria. I did have a very high revving endocrine system at one point with an over active thyroid gland and the other related glands did seem to follow in suit if you will, to seek some equilibrium, but it got to a point just by my own bodies over activity that it damn near killed me with a potential cardiac arrest as my body was way over metabolized. So I mention this to point out that not even taking drugs, one could potentially experience a similar imbalance and its devastating effect! I had to be hospitalized and treated long term with medication rather than surgery to bring things down into an even keel or alignment.

So my main point is that we humans are so far from any perfection and are living on borrowed time with one thing or another that will do us in eventually but the tightrope we walk, as we go through life is way more precarious if we give into an easy cure-all or fix to deal with pain or depression, and as I see things as good and evil in this world I don’t have any doubt that temptation is the main stumbling block in our way to staying healthy mentally, physically and most importantly spiritually! So we have our work cut out for us from the time we are able to use our free will and do what we please, and as my dad and other good mentors advised me from a young age, that it is best to have good solid routines and habits that keep us busy and out of trouble (temptations) while we build our faith in God, making sure to “let our conscience be out guide!” That works great, until we allow temptation or problems to build up which then makes it too easy to give in to some temptations and get on that slippery slope.

I think for me those good lessons from people I looked up to and my own health crisis at an early age made me appreciate very much how blessed I was to be healthy and able to live a decent life so I buckled down; but, still I found a way to give into temptation and appease the flesh in the wrong way by getting those sugar rushes and giving into cravings which is an addition or vicious circle. I guess all I can say is it sucks, but, we do have to “fight hard to stay strong and optimistic” that we can beat the flesh and earthly desires or at least try our best to overcome and be as healthy as possible. Yes Brother Joseph another fine and crucial lesson in these words you present for those that serve our Father in heaven and not this contrived, smoke and mirrors crooked ways of the world doomed materialistic trap for those who partake of its venom daily!

Those words I quote point out the truth about many lost demented souls who with a vengeance commit the same sins daily on this internet being the best they can in serving Satan in their routine or habit of attacking God’s beloved children which they chose by free will not to be but rather through their selfish twisted denial of truth in order to deny their own transgressions that keep stacking up eventually burying them in filth and sin that will pull them down into the darkest pits of hell! Those are the truly damned and prefer darkness over light and have for so long that they don’t even see light but are only drawn to darkness having nothing but ill intent in their vicious cursed hearts!

“You have eyes and do not see and you have ears and you do not hear, neither do you remember.” Mark 8:18

Then you bring this beautiful God Truth to the fore which actually points out how simple it is for those that are afflicted to see God’s love and righteousness and choose it over sin and darkness in order to be saved

There are so many human beings on this internet that are severely infected in their minds and hearts living like the sinful people of the world as they try to deceive or have done so to themselves so deeply that they are delusional and totally lost! It’s such an easy at their fingertips addition of injecting venom or a tool of twisted pleasure where they can deposit their words as poison to cause whatever desired effect or damage their twisted heart seeks; almost like a drug fix they carry on day after day doing this same perverted ritual while they ride their own private rollercoaster to doom.

If God is for us, who can be against us? 32He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?” Romans 8:30-32

To truly follow Christ means He has become everything to us.

Romans 8:20 says that all creation was subjected to vanity because of God’s curse. When Adam sinned, God cursed all that He had made (Genesis 3:17–19). In other words, perfection was lost. All of creation is now falling short of its original purpose; rather than working in harmony with God and creation, inhabitants of the earth have turned on each other and against God. We still reel from the effects of that curse. Everything meant to be right side up is upside down. The chaos and insanity of the world as we know it are due to the fact that God has subjected creation to vanity until the time when it will be set free (Romans 8:21).

Yes Eva I have to say you have some really good zingers here that do cut to the chase as to what is really going on and what will happen to this world moving forward; but lo and behold this was foretold in ancient prophecy handed down to us by the Prophets, Jesus Christ and his Apostles; all providing God’s Truth and Word to be our light at the end of this now growing darker by the minute tunnel riding this express bus on the highway to hell. Yes hell on earth is our next stop and we should be there momentarily! So sit back and suffer while you go along for the ride or if you prefer; just be another useless minion fool that will take all the jabs that diabolical Fauci who actually looks like a gargoyle to me, and he may very well not be human anymore but through demonic powers and optical illusion which is provided for anyone that looks at him to see a sort of human being but if most people saw what really possesses his soul and is the real Fauci they would probably have a heart attack!

But he isn’t the only transformer pretend human walking around; the planet is riddled with them now! This zinger got me thinking!

Thank you Brother Joseph for pointing out this crucial fact about God and His Son Jesus our Lord and Savior who is the perfect judge of all things! Nothing shall be hidden and because Jesus searchers the heart every action is seen exactly for what it is so there is no excuse because the heart of man will bring either victory through Salvation or complete ruin and eternal damnation for the cruel, malicious and wicked heart!

So let’s us understand Jesus is not one to be angry or lose control ever but this doesn’t mean that He won’t come with force and power to condemn like a raging storm to topple the unjust and give the full just punishment they deserve when He chooses; it’s called “Righteous Indignation” and the Holy Scriptures clearly point out Jesus’ doing in when He was here on earth, as for example with regard to the money-changers who were conducting blasphemous practices in His holy house of worship and upon Jesus seeing their defiling of the house of worship he with a condemning wrath toppled their tables and tossed aside physically the objects of this transgression.

“10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart. 11God is a righteous judge and a God who feels indignation each day. 12If one does not repent, God will sharpen His sword; He has bent and strung His bow.” Psalm 7:11

And this doesn’t just mean those most terrible scheming malicious sort of persons who clearly are intentionally looking to do harm but even those who sit on their hands or give idle lip service to one horrible thing or another as the saying goes “just pass the buck;” they too are up the creek with God on judgment day! I wrote the following several months ago that even more clearly defines what I’m expressing here!

I believe we all use the excuse that “I’m just trying to get along and I don’t hurt anybody” but in doing that “trying to get along” “we are going along cooperating with evil” being a part of “the wicked and crooked ways of the world.” Not resisting or more importantly not stopping it; all the while giving “obedience to sin” while the darkest evil is planting seeds of destruction in your own garden, that will be manifesting as more absolute wickedness and Antichrist thinking allegiance, as we already see with the masses going along with “The Big Lie and Jab” to do your part as they tell you, and fall into line with being a minion of Satan! Which is what we’ve all allowed over the last several decades, being prepared like herd animals for the big slaughter! Very much like during the period leading up to WWII Nazi Germany with Adolph Hitler bringing the forces of hell upon the people; this was exactly how the people cooperated with evil, allowing it to build to a crescendo of debauchery, sin and death!

What did Jesus Christ say and do to the Money-changers! He tossed them out of the Temple not once but twice because they brought shady and greedy business practices into the place of worship and defiled the meaning and purpose of worship. Jesus pointed out that many were using the religious zeal of the people to make a buck and basically exploit! Do you recognize all of the various exploitation’s taking place in your face, and yes, very much so here on the internet daily! Do you see how materialistic and pagan societies have become, where church is ignored by a great majority of people in this current time, and replaced with personal pursuits most if not all of which are about making a buck, feeling good (lusts) or at least looking for attention and adulation, which is love of and worshiping self!

Why do I bring this up? Do we see and recognize what we have become in a world we have created where you turn on a television and most if not all of the programming is foolish trivial nonsense, but, what’s even worse is the viewing experience is riddled or bombarded with Big Pharma pushing drugs for anything they can pigeonhole as a human problem, from aches and pains and depression to anything that can be classified as human illness; as they brain wash the public to seek drugs to solve your health issues, so talk to your doctor and get your prescription that is what you need to solve your problems! And the doctors are more than happy to oblige and push those advertised cure-all’s unto a willing public, because they get incentives from Big Pharma and “make a Buck!”

Life has been so cheapened and defiled that people can actually say they are part of a system that promotes and encourages death over life, and Satan over God! That is where we are, and you had better make up your minds about it, people have become vile wicked creatures in many cases, with zero humanity; but plenty of lip service! In other words if you’re not a part of any solution to all of this evil, then you must be a part of the problem; so are you solving any of the biggest problems? Because we have allowed this world, along with us, to go down this “dark ugly road,” and we are still driving it forward; to “Perdition and complete destructive evil.”

1 Timothy 6:5 “Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.”

2 Peter 2:3 “3 And through covetousness, with well-turned words, will they make merchandise of you: for whom judgment of old is not idle, and their destruction slumbers not.”

Now Jesus was angry because ministry was becoming a business or taking on the appearances of “money grubbing” and it should have nothing to do with such activity! But now carry that over into daily living if we learn from the Holy Scriptures what Jesus Christ is teaching the world about sin is to turn from such things and become sowers of charity and humility in giving, not taking; yet this world now is the worst it ever was and can’t get any worse other than for the human race to put their final nail in humanity’s own coffin; and make this “hell on earth” where there is no law, rules, love or God!

6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Jesus went against the Ways of the World and in so doing turned the world fully against him! Do we see how that action of His set them both apart and against one another for eternity? This corruption today far exceeds exponentially what was going on back during His ministry here on earth; do you really see that! Here is some of the background of what was occurring to give us understanding as to what and who we have become as a civilization and how far we have turned away from God and now seek the world, to solve all of our problems, even a “fraud pandemic” that is being used to manipulate us all to be worshipers of the “man-made world and science” that will be like saying, Satan I’m yours, I put all my trust in you!

There are often times things in this world especially today that should make us angry. We should be outraged by injustices, violence, greed, poverty, and death all of which are a fact of life in this tumultuous sinful world going on all around us. If we are genuine children of God’s these things at times should stir up an anger deep within us by the pain we feel in our hearts, toward all those things which are so unnecessary and because “it’s just not right.” This anger is good; it’s a righteous anger. It’s the same anger that God feels when he sees the evil that is so pervasive in the world; and how it is hurting His children just like any parent should feel if their child is being injured or abused! The key is to never allow this anger reaction response to bring us to a point of returning evil with evil and actually do anything that God would not approve of; we can’t fight fire with fire! But the deep feeling in the soul and resulting emotion is understood by God where it is appropriate and genuine! His Righteous Indignation will be released upon the guilty!

This is all spot-on and God’s wisdom conveyed by His Truth which is all encompassing and the final word; absolutely crystalline and perfect beyond all human understanding! As a mere mortal fallible human being it is enough to comprehend that there is no better place to be but in the mighty and loving hands of our Maker the Alpha and the Omega, He, “I Am Who I Am.”

“13Then Moses asked God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is His name?’ What should I tell them?” 14God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” 15God also told Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is how I am to be remembered in every generation.” Exodus 3:13-15

Folks there should be no mistake about it in your hearts and minds what evil is at work in the world which has been usurped from the pit of hell to bring ruin and annihilation to humanity. This process is ongoing and will not end until it comes to head which will be when God our Father in heaven bring this spiritual warfare to its final dramatic conclusion and all that is good will be separated from all evil forever! That time is drawing very near and one true demarcation point besides all of the obvious rampant evil going on is that most prophesy of the Holy Scriptures has already come to pass and this one fact that before the Second Coming the Gospel would be preached throughout the world available for all to receive God Word; and that is happening especially now with the global digital worldwide web that puts Holy Scripture at all people’s fingertips so that prophesy has been fulfilled.

“Jesus Christ taught us: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14 KJV

Please understand I’m no doomsday prophet or wanting to bring sadness to anyone but only the Truth, “God’s Truth” will set us free and that is all that matters to me, is to know God’s Truth. So the writing is not only “on the wall” now, but it’s being spread around the globe at light speed; and there can be no reason for denying Him at all.

“Jesus Christ taught us: “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” Matthew 24:14 KJV

Today just like in the time of Noah “the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Gen 6:5).

And God’s word tells of specifically; “that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy” (2 Tim 3:1-2)

So obviously as we now see they are too often; “heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God” (2 Tim 3:3-4)

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20)! No doubt, that time has come. The day and hour cannot be far off!

As Scripture points out, “there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short” (Matt 24:21-22

This all adds up to one very clear conclusion for me as I hope it does for you too; spelling out that the best thing we can do is to “stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming” (Matt 24:42), because “the day of the Lord will come like a thief” (2 Pet 3:10),

So the Lord will send scabs on her head; the Lord will make beautiful Zion bald.” On that day of judgment the Lord will strip away everything that makes her beautiful: ornaments, headbands, crescent necklaces.”
