I was reading a very interesting blog article, “Some things you may want to know,” by Zina Hermez Posted on and I want to quote a portion of her long article, to follow up with my own equally long dissertation about “What It All Means.”
“It has been documented that we may have gotten here within the last 5 million years. I’ve read we are just a few hundred thousand years old, but I believe we’re older than that. Some believe the universe may have always been there. I think it was, but God caused the “swelling” of the universe; He created it. And the expansion is happening up until now! Every one of our bodies is traceable to the Big Bang. We are basically, stardust.”
“We thought we would not do many things: like go to the moon or travel to Mars, for example. We have done more than we imagined, and there is still a lot more. I believe that God oversees all of the universe(s) and his magnificent creation! The more proof we find (through math and testing) that there could be multiverses, the more of a chance that other life could exist out there. ”
“I never thought I would say this, but I believe they do. I think they know God too, even Jesus. They are harmless. Professor Brian Greene, the famous physicist and New York Times best-selling author, says, “If there is other life out there, they are at least 2-3 billion years ahead of us. We are a new planet.”
“So imagine how much more advanced than us they are? He believes they exist. I do too. I had a dream as a teenager. Well, it was more like a vision that felt so real after I came out of it, I didn’t feel like I was sleeping at all. Anyway, I had a dream I was visited by two beautiful spaceships. They came in front of my bedroom window deep into the middle of the night. They were glowing, peaceful and breathtakingly beautiful.” https://notwithoutgod.net/2021/06/30/some-things-you-may-want-to-know%f0%9f%aa%90/
I don’t believe that the hypothesis of other intelligent life forms billions of years older than us is feasible and Holy Scriptures don’t support it either. Jesus didn’t even give a glimmer of attention to such things and he would have while here knowing it would be important for us to deal with that in conjunction with having a Devil and evil demons to watch out for. It all makes for good Science Fiction but in reality if beings were around billions of years ago, they would have reached their apex long ago, and along the way a similar conflicting nature would have gone on its path in the way one could expect leading to either self-annihilation or need for a Savior! Only the same two possibilities we have, and we are God’s Children as all prophesied and recorded in the Bible, who are his to save, not other alien beings that he saves dying on a cross being Crucified for, because God offers Himself as the ransom to take away all of those iniquities of ours, and these other fictitious beings would have plenty as well not being Prefect or Holy like God! This theory comes apart the more I look at it!
Something I’ve visualized is like what the Scriptures point out; we are in a material body that came from Dust, Star Dust yes, but, merely being in this material realm is not the begin all and end all it appears to be as it is a finite realm, there’s even an edge to the universe, with conflicting properties that bring decay and basically eventual disintegration or breakdown; but, that we are also spiritual beings with an immortal soul that will leave these bodies as you know, to be given a glorified body in the presence of God Almighty; as we then are immortal. Now Jesus did say something I was aware of many years back, but then in recent years when I listened to astrophysicists or watched documentaries or read articles about Black Holes in space and the accompanying theories on Dark Matter and Dark Energy coupled with String Theory I did see perhaps that Jesus gave something away which was a basic fundamental way of saying to a simpler people in a less sophisticated time, what I think the scientists of today are onto!
One thing any responsible person may want to do or adjust soon, is that we are all like the rest of the humans fallen sinners in need of being saved, which is of course paramount and that is the main directive from Jesus that told us in no uncertain terms to focus on that; take up our crosses and follow Him, nothing else is going to override that, not even any discoveries. Putting our heads into the outer fringes of the universe say as Carl Sagan did is all intriguing, but, it won’t cut the mustard with God when the time comes to be finally evaluated for what our hearts were all about as we lived out these short lives on earth. And whether we were in the good graces of God, being worthy of entering into His presence which is absolutely perfect and Holy; and we are all so far removed from that; it isn’t even funny! So the term used is be and “imitator of Christ Jesus,” that I think must apply in one’s life mission over all other concerns.
I’ve written a few articles relating to this basic thinking but I always go back to one scientist I do respect and I’m sure you do as well, who perhaps wasn’t talking up a storm about God or the hereafter in Church going terms but he did say some things that were religious enough to convince me he was on the right wavelength with our Creator and humbled himself totally to that Creator as he should have and we should also!
Here is what I like to quote that Einstein said that cuts to the chase of what I’m saying I do believe.
Einstein was of course a remarkably brilliant person who I think even though his head was immersed in the world of science and theories he had a keen insight into God’s presence and reality like few people can achieve with our limiting cognitive faculties.; and his respect and love of God was present and genuine; therefore we can say God will judge accordingly, I know for myself Einstein was a good and respectful soul in this world who as a scientist didn’t reject God as many scientists do often times; so I do wish him well. What follows I was writing about back at this mentioned date.

“The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms – this knowledge, this feeling is at the centre of true religiousness.”
-Albert Einstein – “The Merging of Spirit and Science”
This man the father of physics had said a few great one liners but two that stand out are these. He referred to God as the “Old One.” He speaking to other physicists was known to have said during a discussion about the Big Bang Theory in which one scientist said that with enough random events occurring in this pre-millisecond before it happened eureka the right combination occurred; Einstein just plainly said; “God doesn’t roll dice.”
I do enjoy some good science fiction for the creativity of mind involved but I’ve learned over the years not to stray too far with my past adventurous thinking about E.T. or Aliens from some far off star system because through life experience some of which was divinely inspired and actual intervention I know unequivocally that Jesus is Ground Zero and that Satan the fallen Lucifer knows all this as well and can use these ideas against us which he has already, having a field day with some people. The idea for him as you know is to pull us way from Jesus and ruin the faith just like on a parallel how we see America being ripped apart by nefarious infiltrators with projection of falsehoods and deceptions into key areas of human activity such as they are doing with CRT in education along with a host of other corrupting schemes to warp or mold young minds to an Agenda. Angels are extraordinarily intelligent and Lucifer with his cohorts are up to all sorts of malicious undertakings; we all would be wise to tread carefully into the unknown always having Jesus with us in all we do; so we are sure to be following the “Father’s will;” and not our own or something much worse.
I’ve been through some things, and my new mantra after fighting my way clear of horrendous misery and sufferings heaped upon me brought me to a juncture where I saw that my new mantra in life should have to be, trying to make a difference, but, I mean according to what God directs me to and not anything else; only wishing to serve Him through Jesus Christ to allow my life to serve His purposes and there is nothing in all of existence that could come close to being that important.
The ways of the world are thoroughly corrupted so we don’t gain anything lasting by putting our stock or life efforts into the embrace of the world; we need to be free from it eventually completely as this is a dying and falling away world with an end point.
15 “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father[a] is not in them. 16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.” 1 John 2:15-16
“If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.” John 15:19
I had a profound experience where I know it to be a voice from God’s realm like an angel that said to me early one morning as I was becoming more lucid that, “God is matter not of this realm.” I had been thinking hard the night before as to what could the great beyond, even beyond the edge of the universe, perhaps Heaven be like; so I think He gave me a break and let me in on a clue! By the way just to make sure we get this clear; I’ve never been a drug user or a person that enjoys alcohol so I didn’t use them at all except medicinally as brandy tea concoctions when I had a cold.
I also never had any psychotic breaks or hallucinated at all. What you see with me is what you get and if I say I saw something or heard a voice it was real and I know it was God allowing a special experience to occur for a good reason which He of course knows and I may or may not yet. In this case it was an incentive.
(Ephesians 6:12). “There is an unseen battle taking place around us every moment between God’s holy angels and the forces of darkness” (Daniel 10:12-14; Ephesians 6:10-17; Jude 1:9).
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2nd Corinthians 4:18.
To me the concept of there being more dark matter and dark energy; (unseen or undetectable in the standard sense of physical matter but nonetheless it is there being more powerful than everything in the known universe), more encompassing than everything that exists in this material plane, to me this is the beginning of the invisible spiritual realm of eternity! All of this that we experience and are part of here is like we are only sitting on the doorstep if you will!
Jesus suffered like no one ever could, and your personal suffering is unique to you as mine is to me, so these are very special personalized offerings we are making for Him and His plan, and He loves us also for taking up these crosses for Him, which we can’t truly fathom or fully comprehend the total significance of; for we are only the lost lambs now with all the potential to be His children eternally, but you do recall Scripture tells us that we see or peer out into this existence as “through a veil” not seeing enough to know even a substantial portion of what there is to see and know. As Jesus said, “Verily I say unto thee there is more in the unseen world than there is in the seen.” I now believe through experience and His teachings that suffering is an integral part of life and our journey to Him, but this suffering can be wasted, or can instead be lifted up by Him and through Him to allow us to receive His graces just as we were allowed to receive suffering unto ourselves and others according to His divine plan and will. It may seem odd to some but I’m learning that I’m actually joyful to have suffered as long as it is going to help someone here, either those around me or that read my words and hopefully even a little is left for me too. Because now through actual experience and hardship I know a little about suffering and pain and how we all must;
“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12
This because; none of us surely don’t want to not obtain “our salvation” as the consequence and loss is incomprehensible; that death is complete extinguishing and severing of all that is God from a soul, the complete opposite of salvation, which should make anyone who is sane and able to comprehend these basic truths, to tremble with fear knowing that any of us has the potential to end up in that accursed realm; oblivion!
“That some man is going to style himself as greater than God, pretending to be God—and people will believe him.” Why? Because: “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-11).
We must always put things in their proper perspective.
John 1-6
The Word Became Flesh
1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
6 “There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.”
They say God never gives us more than we can handle but He does give to us what we need most, as He is our heavenly Father and knows with absolutism what each of us needs specifically in order for us to complete this earthly journey intact, that is our souls being worthy of being in His presence on our judgment day. And just like the Good Shepherd knowing his lost lamb when found and it knowing the Good Shepherd we will know our Master and Good Shepherd Jesus and He will know us as His. Then we pass through the narrow gate with Him in all of His glory into eternal paradise.
I know through my suffering as difficult as it has been at times that all of my suffering only scratches the surface of what suffering Jesus withstood just on His journey to the cross, being hated, ridiculed, beaten and spat upon! My suffering is so little yet it is a heavy burden which I struggle with, only as a mere sinful man to get through it to hopefully better days ahead. After all, who am I that I shouldn’t suffer, I’m like any other sin riddled human being and should suffer, especially if I want to be deserving of an eternal glorious existence. By giving me this suffering God is reminding me of what waits on the opposite end of the God man paradigm that must be soul based on faith and obedience. I have been faithful all of my life but not strong enough in that faith at all times as I should have been. And why, because I disobeyed my heavenly Father who knows all things and always knows what is best for me, but I thought I knew better at times and went off on my own not consulting with him or perhaps being even half-cocked and unprepared for the subsequent consequences of my own foolish actions. I can recall my own suffering, but, remembering and seeing as I do now how it was all nothing compared to Jesus and what he must have felt. We must realize when he took up His everlasting covenant he was here as a man, a perfect one but still a man with flesh and all the accompanying pains and sorrows that come with being human. To that was added all the sins and death from sinful behaviors of all kinds, which was dumped upon Him, He who was the supernatural but also for a time an earthy man carrying that entire load and burden of sin and suffering, He called out to
His heavenly Father consistently and directly asking for strength and divine providence in each step he made so that He could carry out His Fathers will, not his own even though he was a flesh man and could have resorted to His own devices or stray from the mission, no He called out to His Father to help Him get through it all and complete His one soul mission, saving all of mankind His children, the lost lambs. He loves us that much and more than we can imagine but He is so happy to give this gift of eternal life to us, as long as we are willing to be obedient and faithful to Him allowing Him to lead our way.
Today we may suffer greatly, our hearts sorrowful and bodies wretched; but someday maybe soon or in many, many years to come that will all pass away, and we can be made whole in Him, a complete and perfect child of God, that is what He promised me and you!
John 1:16 “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.”
Yes in a sense like the tree I saved Friday, that was being swallowed up by an invasive parasitic vine smothering and slowly severing its life in the “light where it belonged!” I saved a tree but I and you along with so many others can save our fellow souls or lost lambs; perhaps by pointing out a truth or offering up our suffering for them! Thanks be to God, in the name of Jesus. Amen
God bless you and yours!

I leave this reply to your question Mary Anne both here and on the Satan or Constant Enemy which was included with this article.
Hi Mary Anne…He was raised as a Jew but his parents sent him to a Catholic grade school for the better education at the time; those nuns as you know made sure they study; no slacking off!
Haha, I did study or take guitar lessons as a young rascal but no I was talking about the astrophysics study of the theory where String Theory tries to model the four known fundamental interactions gravitation, electromagnetism, strong nuclear force, weak nuclear force together in one theory. Einstein was the first to make advancement in this direction with his theory of special and general relativity. He tried to explain gravity solely in terms of geometry.
But the world of science was completely turned upside-down by Heisenberg and others when they added quantum physics. until this point, the classical model and electromagnetism were doing a great job, explaining the phenomenon and interactions at the macroscopic level.
Quantum Physics now enabled physicists to explain the microscopic world as well, the minutest particle physics. Eventually, weak and strong nuclear forces were discovered and we got to the four fundamental forces of the known universe. Then I was referring to Dark Matter and Energy because in Scripture I did read that Jesus mentions how there is more in the unseen world than in the seen and now the theory shows how the Dark Matter and Dark Energy outside of the visible and material plane universe that we are in and made of, that they have proven this Dark Energy is there, sort of how they know about Black Holes now; but this Dark stuff is more encompassing than all the energy in this world its enormously more powerful than all the energy in this world combined!
I think that is when we are trying to define God because He is all knowing and encompassing so of course He is more powerful than all this existence; its a mind blowing idea but I’m convinced He is that powerful and not convinced that billions of years ago other beings were out in this universe like some people try to say!
Just because the universe is billions of years old we must remember God is the Alpha and the Omega and timeless so this time thing is like an illusion to us; and she was saying how she agreed with some who say beings could have been living in this world billions of years ago and I say no way but maybe a hundred thousand years ago or more but the time thing is playing tricks, Einstein was deep into that relativity thing of traveling at the speed of light everything slows down and comes to a stand still sort of with us from our vantage point because we have this concept of time passing and God doesn’t exist like that, he always was and will be, the great I am that I am!
Time stands still for no one they say; but it sure does for God He is timeless and is!

Mary Anne… to your reply which you left on the attached link article Satan Our Constant Enemy, for convenience I leave this complete article size reply of mine that you inspired; there and here!
Hi again Mary Anne! That is really wonderful stuff, that star stuff! What you say is too! Are you kidding you have such inspiring insight and understanding that can only come from the great source of all understanding and what we know to be wisdom!~+
“You were wondering what heaven was like … it is definitely a solid place because Our Lady is there and she was assumed into heaven body and soul…the Assumption”
So appropriate that I think God inspired you to mention this here and as I wrote my reply I had not jumped ahead directly to this point of your comment to respond to it, but did continue my trip to write what came to me spontaneously, and I wrote about Einstein to address your very insightful point of Einstein sounding quite Catholic which was “perfect” as it opened a door which would tie some things into this overall process and point about his thinking in this matter of his own perspective about “religiosity” in the statement he made which I quoted! But then all of a sudden a great hero and defender of the Faith, Christianity, came to my mind! And so I wrote about him and his “mother,” but when I looked at your reply again and saw that I wanted and needed to say something about the Assumption suddenly at the end of my reply. So I began to carefully consider my thoughts and feelings as to what is to be said, and I came upon a text and audio presentation on this matter immediately in a flash, the very first finding. I will point that out at the end of this long reply as to what you are reading this moment, this one, when I went back to the beginning of my reply to insert it “here and now;” so a most fitting sort of “back to the future” kind of answering for me to do when talking about Einstein who spoke about time and traveling at the speed of light, how time would slow down while back on earth all would pass into the distant future which is what my writing did regarding this one point that needs to be answered now. Thankfully I didn’t’ accelerate to the speed of light or on my return to the starting point of this long “commentary journey” I would sadly discover everyone I knew and this blog gone! Now as I leap forward you can take your time and move through this present time until you meet me in the future! I will be there!
Oh my God yes you remind me of my first Catechism when in grade one; how the nun as I truly remember her saying so beautifully that “God is Everywhere,” and you are so perceptive and aware to see how what Einstein said in such matters of the incomprehensible sounds very Catholic, as he too has those wonderful nuns to thank for helping to open his mind and most importantly his heart to God and Jesus!
Einstein is my absolute favorite scientist and always has been because he is of course the father of physic, but I see the beautiful soul and kindness that man displayed his whole life, a genuine kind and giving, humble heart of a man as well, those nuns did well, God’s will, to convey the “something special” that God wanted them to impart to Einstein producing not just a great scientist but an instrument of God in the end; and it worked in spades as he went on not only to be the most genius person to come along in this realm of understanding of time space continuum and all the forces surrounding the conceptualization of matter and energy; basically existence in this plane of consciousness, but he became a heralding messenger to God’s children that would question the unknown, and Einstein stated verbatim how any scientist as well as lay persons should look upon these realities we find ourselves in. This was in fact as I see it a direct “God Send” directed by the hand of God because there are so many others in these disciplines who reject God straight out of the gate as being fantasy, but, they are so dead wrong as they will find out when it’s too late for them, unless they “relent and repent.”
Another man like this in another profession that I feel equally inspired by was C.S. Lewis, https://www.cslewis.com/us/ who actually went from being a devout Christian always in Church every opportunity with his beloved mother during his childhood, but through the painful tragedy of losing his dear mother Flora Hamilton Lewis in 1908, too soon while he at still the tender age of 10, with the “stiff upper lip” in favor at the time; meant he wasn’t allowed to grieve. He became an Oxford don and led a sheltered life. He seriously questioned his religious beliefs and finally left the church.” http://www.imdb.com but then like a “God Send” as he rejected God for a time, was only to then be “touched by the hand of God” and I’m sure all those fond memories of being with his mother in Church together; he came “full circle back to Jesus Christ,” and then went on to become one of the greatest most prolific author advocates of Christendom! This along with having many fine close friends who were very Catholic including priests; even though he stayed with his mother’s church of England specifically, the “Holy Trinity Church” in Headington, Oxford, an Anglican church. He was another man I greatly appreciate and love. Such wonderful examples of what a man can and more importantly should be in this world!
Oh my God yes Mary Anne to be inspired as you have to bring this crucial point of great importance here now. When I speak of great examples of men I admire but to the Heart of Life hereon Earth in our trial, struggles and tribulations the center of Humanity her Immaculate Heart that became as one like I’ve said how any mother with child are so close, the closest any two humans can be during that period, creating an unbreakable bond which did occur, when God sent Jesus, God Himself, into her womb; Holy Mary Mother of God. I have written several times about how amazing and what a beautiful gift women are to God’s plan. It is the “Woman” who brings forth the new child and Mary was to bring forth the Messiah, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God Almighty incarnate being in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is the only woman to ever exist who became the vessel for God’s Immaculate Conception and His New and Everlasting Covenant for the Salvation of Humanity! Mother Mary actually was one with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as the Mother of God making her not only truly Blessed among all women as the angel Gabriel announced to her, but she was once and for ever made an integral part of the Holy God Family in heaven with her being the Holy Mother of the Church that her beloved Son Jesus Christ established and raised as He had declared He would.
“18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:18
Our Holy Mother having been brought immediately into God’s Holy Presence upon her death, assumed, to me its clearly evident her having been not only chosen by God to be the Blessed Virgin who is blessed among all women as the angel Gabriel told her, but she had to be sanctified and made Holy, prior to the time of the Immaculate Conception and forward to the birth of Jesus Christ, continuing on to eternity as “Holy Mary Mother of God!” Even more special than any Saint; which are also blessed and many were assumed into heaven. Both Enoch (cf. Gen. 5:24) and Elijah were taken up “into heaven” (II Kings 2:11) in a manner quite out of the ordinary. And so are the “two witnesses” of Revelation 11:3-13. If one interprets John 3:13 as speaking about Christ uniquely ascending to heaven, that would be acceptable. We would then have to ask the question: what is it about Jesus’ ascension that is unique? Well, the fact that he ascended is unique. Mary did not ascend to heaven. She was assumed. There is a big difference. Jesus ascended by his own divine power as he prophesied he would in John 2:19-21: “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up . . . he spoke of the temple of his body.” Mary was powerless to raise herself to heaven; she had to be assumed. The same could be said of all Christians. Jesus raised himself from the dead. Christians will be entirely passive when it comes to their collective “resurrection.”
Holy Mary being taken up into heaven is there not just to be content and passive either being in paradise but continues to play the active role of the Mother of the Holy God head family and her miraculous gifts staring with her Son our Savior Jesus Christ are manifesting continually as the Father’s will is that she be an integral part of His Divine plan and purposes and many facts as well as miraculous events as we know have been attributed to this reality of God’s plan involving Our Holy Mother.
I know that this whole blog article and now the comment becoming an article unto itself has been all inspired and a God Send. We sold all be or become aware that or Father in Heaven and His only begotten Son the Savior are united in a perfect God head family in His eternal kingdom and Mother Mary’s pleas are always part of the Father’s plan as her passion and love for her Son our Savior is permanent and was from the moment of the immaculate conception when God as the Son of mankind was with His Mother! That bond is absolute and eternally Holy, so Mary serves the will of the Father, but, she is a Mother not only of Jesus the Savior, her Son, whom she is with in heaven; but she is obviously the Mother of the Church; the God head Family by the Father’s will through Jesus Christ! Of course Mother Mary is to be venerated and asked to petition for us in heaven just as all the saints can pray for us, while she is uniquely the only one with that most high and special connection to our Savior being the actual Mother of Jesus one heart joined to the other forever. Amen.
This resource site I’m listing, which has an audio presentation all about this subject of our Blessed Mother Mary’s Assumption it will certainly serve to provide many details for you to consider and be inspired by, I believe.
God bless you.
