Where is God?

Something very telling happened to me yesterday! I know it proves what is being stated in this posting as correct and a sheer example of what is going on and how it works! The thought that just came to my mind is something my Dad and a few others had said to me growing up; “don’t get too big for your britches.” Another I know to be so true is, “don’t run off half-cocked!”

I was taken very ill a few days ago very unexpectedly from food poisoning and when I finally felt well enough to look at the internet to any extent I saw a response to one of my recent comments and here is what I had to say for some reason feeling it was good to be that open about it; then just now I woke from a sound sleep in the middle of the night to find this newest posting at this site at the top of my message cue that cuts to the thick of it as I see it being overwhelmingly, and so pertinent and; so right! So I will include here what I had to say yesterday at an online Catholic site regarding an article that was written a few years ago and I became only the third person involved in the subject up for discussion regarding angels. I see what is going on and why, but, you can be the judge of what it means and should add up to for yourself, with the Holy Spirit guiding you! Amen.

My response to the other Word Press blogger’s comment to me.

“I’m just getting over some severe food poisoning which felt like I was living the title “No Time to Die” out, both figuratively and literally which was crossing my mind; as it was so gut wrenching and nauseating an ordeal for the first 24 hours, I mean screaming with pain and I know that is insane to hold back from running to the nearest clinic, it could make for a scene in any such movie; not too pretty! So bad that I didn’t have the ability to sleep a wink until finally last night as I was toughing it out with no medical intervention other than home grown tried, tested and proven remedies, but it was a battle which now though mostly passing; I’m washed out!”

My commentary to the Catholic site.

“I don’t sugar coat anything when I see falsehood and lies staring me in the face! Straight out of the gate Amber Marie you are way over the top and defiant here! I see rebelliousness in your thoughts, words and deeds which we must recall was the main thing that Lucifer started his downfall with along with the subsequent fallen angels; to be cast out of Heaven which we can see with basic common sense and conscience that rebellion and contemptuous defiance is wrong; as rebellion in heaven was the beginning of all evil and transgression against God Almighty and His Creation! Where in Holy Scriptures does it teach you to see the names of angels other than the ones Genevieve pointed out?

From my perspective you have a stubborn faulty idea that you are doing some great good by promulgating the seeking of things that you and I are not meant to know about nor can we being in the flesh and not purely spiritual form as yet! If exorcists are aware that this is a thing that should not be advocated then I should think with your common sense and not some arrogant self-serving egotistical motivation, you would relent quickly from this practice of yours which is actually very occultist and pagan! “Why do you ask the name of an angel,” just mentioned in this article, which is even in Holy Scriptures is pointed out as not to be done; and what purpose does that serve outside of some concocted thoughts of your own? They are doing what God through the Holy Ghost allows them to do and that is good enough for me, I don’t have to be a “bro” with my Guardian Angel, but, just knowing he is there and watches over me as God Planned is good enough for me!

I have had encounters with my own Angel which saved my life on a few occasions, but, what I saw or believed happened wasn’t totally what my eyes and mind were seeing, because it’s not of this physical plane! So I just knew enough to tell me a great supernatural event took place and I was protected or spared from impending doom of my physical body life, Divine Intervention if you will! I never was curious about a name nor if I could just ask this powerful being to be summoned or know I care about him and want to get to know him in any other way, than to know he is there and will do what God needs and wants him to do; don’t you get that! You’re being a bit childish and self-serving putting yourself above things that you are totally incapable of being above, or able to contend with; or ever know enough about, as my Dad always said, “son you know enough to get yourself in trouble;” by so doing inviting disaster and bringing sin upon yourself by this behavior!

I hope for your good you will see where I’m coming from and understand, putting aside our egos’, and just realize; I’m talking from experience and some firsthand knowledge but more importantly wisdom that has been provided to me from the “Holy Ghost or God’s will” as a blessing and for a purpose; His purpose! We are only the lost lambs so we must never forget that and get chips on our shoulders; which I have done in my life too, and it always resulted in trouble or hardship.

We also don’t need to start making a practice of some worshiping or great adulation of our angels, they are fine and will remain so under God’s will, and so that is none of our business nor should we get troubled by this simple fact one way or the other; just seek to do the Father’s will at all times, and leave the unseen and all the things we “mere lambs” have no understanding of to God; and be happy to know the power of God is at work in all of these things seen and unseen!

Obedience is extremely important as is being totally humble to God’s will! I wrote something a while back that pertains to the sort of trouble you could be heading toward if you persist in this self-styled concept of yours, which I’m sorry with my having to confront you like this, with my being the one to tell you how you’re asking for trouble and biting off way more than you can chew in this matter!”

This is an excerpt from a previous blog essay about an attack on my faith.

“Just this week experienced vicious attack upon my Catholic faith and me personally by a cult of self-righteous loudly proclaiming so called “Reformation Christians” who were giving great credence to the writings and teachings of Diana Severance who made enormous effort to paint Anne Askew as one of the greatest nonconforming human beings to have ever walked the earth and indeed painted her as being from what I was hearing one of God’s most anointed, and a women for the ages for all women to emulate. They immediately after my making a comment which I will include here began with the Catholic bashing with horrendous prejudice and totally anti-Catholic pure hate filled vitriol, which I responded to with my not wanting to argue and play any games, but saying how I would pray for these people upon my participating in a Holy Catholic Mass while receiving the Body and Blood of Christ through the Holy Eucharist Sacrament.”

Please read the entire long blog essay and I truly hope some of what I say here today penetrates and you open up to God’s will totally, and remain on a solid footing with your faith in Him alone; so that your life will be exactly what He, has planned for you!

Pray directly to Jesus in all matters and He will take it from there!

John 14:16 “15If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. 16And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.”
God bless you and keep you!

When something bad happens, especially when it’s something so shocking and painful that we can’t even comprehend the how and why, we tend to ask the big questions. Why would God allow this to happen? Where is God?

I can’t even attempt to answer those questions. Only God knows why He allows evil, sickness, and pain to exist in our lives. Sometimes, we may feel that if our faith is strong enough, if we just pray hard enough, we are ensured a peaceful, happy, successful, and financially secure life, without ever experiencing pain. We fall into the trap of praying for the specific want or need to be answered in a particular way, and forget to add the part that says “not my will, but yours be done”.

Lately, I’ve begun to realize what it means to truly trust Jesus. It means to completely let go, and trust Him with…

  1. Sorry for your illness. I’m glad that you are feeling better. I’m sure you felt like Job. You’ve been wearing yourself out blogging. Even righteous anger is very hard on a person. I used to get very angry and then fall ill. I don’t know which came first. I’ve been angrier since and not fallen ill. I always loved righteous anger and used to love to listen to a friend rant about corruption at work, but after he died of a heart attack I felt bad about letting him rant. Most of the topics that make me truly angry I can’t even seem to finish the post.

A lot or maybe most non-Catholics don’t even know that we have guardian angels – even those who should know. That’s one of the downsides of non-creedal churches, especially when cut off from Christian tradition.

    1. Hey man that’s nice of you, really! Very much appreciated and I hope you are doing very well! I’m still not all up to snuff yet as I’m using only my natural defenses and some home homeopathic techniques but I’m getting there!

Well its very interesting how you commented brother, this whole thing about righteous anger and its toll that it takes on a person; when just lately while I’ve been working on improving my health I watched an old classic movie that is a superb story and great work by all involved!

The story is perfect as it addresses so many of the most important points coming up in our world in crisis and why people are so off the wall wrong about so many things in this Modern Age!

Sorry about your work friend passing from all the stress, but, he must have been a good guy and cared too much so I figure he must be in heaven; God bless him!

I do agree with you about the churches so many get lost in the shuffle, and many of those had said the doctrinal repetitive tradition was a hindrance to them so they go it alone in a way, and end up worse off! To each his own, but, to me being disciplined which I’m not enough either, is a much better thing to keep one in line and living a stricter in accordance way in order to do God’s will daily; and so my goal is to be more disciplined and break old habits or lax attitude, which is only an opportunity for the Deceiver to creep in!

We all need to always strive to do better, as my mother was always saying there is always room for improvement in our lives and faith!

      God bless you and yours!

Here is the new essay in case you didn’t open any notice yet.

  2. Yes, my friend was a very good and great man. He attended Catholic schools his entire life and he did wonderful things to help people. Through him I also understood the example of turning lemons into lemonade. He used his own difficult experiences to help other people. He actually looked like an angel with his head tilted up toward the light and so, yes, while he had a few human failures, if he’s not in heaven, then no one is. I simply wished I would have taken him to the hospital when he felt ill. Others tried to get him to go, but he wouldn’t go, because he had the same disdain that I now have for doctors. He thought he just had indigestion but it was a series of heart attacks. I think he would have gone to humor me, however. He felt the others were bossing him, I think, but wouldn’t have felt that way with me. As much as I despise doctors, they have their place sometimes – like saving people from heart attacks or from bleeding to death, etc. Good doctors were always rare and are increasingly so.

By the way, make sure you have enough electrolytes after your illness. Sodium free V8 has added potassium (if you are allowed added potassium) as well as some sodium (much easier to get). You probably can get some electrolytes from the pharmacy and that’s probably the safest option to ask the pharmacist. Of course, fruit and vegetables in abundance help.

    1. My God! What an amazing special friend you have and I’m sure now you will meet again someday in God’s Paradise! He had a multitude of gifts it seems and the most obvious to me is his strong real faith and how he wanted to do our Father’s will so devoutly, in word and actions!

Great lesson he imparted to you as I found out the hard way that I had to take many lemons dumped in my face and get immediately to the task of conversion; making all the lemonade I could with them, not easy in some instances but when there is no choice other than that or drown in turmoil and you’re on your own; you decide its swim or sink time mighty fast!

Now as far as looking back and wondering if you did all you could have, don’t forget we are not our brother’s keeper and I have similar questions whether its loved family member or other relative and some friends and people I knew we can always see a bit more clearly with a 20/20 hindsight so that only says to me that at the time you saw it the way you did and your response fit the overall situation; we don’t get redo’s and like making a movie yell cut and lets start from the top and do it again!

I even get how you are saying you see this with my beloved pets some amazing special dogs I’ve had and I learned something after each one died but thought if I had checked this or done that first then she could have lived maybe a few more years! I know God has these things all covered and a priest friend who was such a good man even a EMT 27 years told me when I was upset over a dear dog of mine that had died unexpectedly maybe possibly suffering or dying unnecessarily before its time, how maybe I could have done more! He simply said staring at me, “so you gave that dog such a bad life all these years you had her?” I snapped out of it because I was so good to her and loved her more than many people treat animals, though a had been abrupt a few times here or there having some big issues to deal with; but most everything was sweet and kind! So he was right nothing is perfect here, and we try our best; and that is a lot of good in there! The enemy wants us to feel defeated like we lost, but, WE ARE THE WINNERS hands down, with the Lord we will never lose in the end! Dad always said, “Build your faith!”

I had to deal with doctors suddenly after not needing them at all for many year, but after my injury I was seeing them regular and many but most to me are useless and built into a corrupt system with little real genuine care taking place! Your own body does all the work and they throw it off with far too many prescriptions but that helps them and Big Pharma! I dumped them all once I found my equilibrium again and use naturopathic approach all the time.

If a massive insult or accident occurs then of course I’ll have no choice but to seek the best I can to help me! But this was a sudden out of the blue illness that came and I was suffering and not too sure but I felt I can fight it on my own; so far it worked. It sounds to me like your friend saw it the same way and did what was best for him which I think is fine he made his own decisions and he prayed for the insight!

Thank you a whole lot for the health tip reminders and insights which I am going to cover each one especially after I get to the grocery store and get lots of good staple items.

You’re a great help and inspiration and I won’t forget it!
      God bless you!!!
