Because I really needed to contemplate and delve into his teachings in my prayers this week starting today with this posting, and how this all coincides perfectly with past inspirations and definitely things I need to reexamine; being truly grateful for all my blessings and sufferings! Then how the writings of this monk Thomas Kempis that are particularly inspiring to me, which I’ve actually been reading; dovetail with your posting!

Perhaps this previous posting of mine will be helpful to you or someone else who is reflecting in prayer upon this very Saint’s writings finding it helps in seeking Truth and peace during this Holy time of the year, when we thank God for being born into this too often sad world; because He loves us that much!
If your only motivation is money, you will not succeed. If money is a part of that dream, that’s great. What you really have to pursue are those things that you truly love. You will lose any pursuit if it is one dimensional. Pursue what you love and success is guaranteed.
So True Pam! Mom always told us practice makes perfect and try try again! But additionally I say is difficult to translate what each of us might be feeling and witnessing in our own personal minds eye at a given moment as in this life is a miracle and each moment a gift which we are each of us experiencing from our own unique individual perspective in that we are all quite unique. So we try our best hopefully to communicate what we see and fell as something of beauty and though it can never be a perfect transfer of mind and heart to another this is all very inspiring to me as a prelude of what is to come!

By the way just in case you weren’t aware when i used to do some work in 35mm motion picture film the DP and Director in certain scenes wanted to capture all they could during the Magic or Golden Hour or at times depending on what is the goal it could be the Magic Moment at Dawn or Dusk hat will accomplish what it is you desire in the shot, and there are special tricks to make sure the opportunity isn’t lost so that the visual is the best possible.

AP’s Hit Piece on RFK, Jr. Symbolizes Intellectual, Moral Collapse of Mainstream News Industry
The blue check bourgeoisie are very sad right now.

In their shame and humiliation, the object of their ire becomes Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
Kennedy is everything they are not. He is smarter and more successful than they are.
But more than that, Kennedy has moral character, something that is in vanishingly short supply in mainstream newsrooms these days. He has also more reach.
COVID-19 information on Kennedy’s website, The Defender, is shared more often on social media than the corporate nonsense coming from CNN, NPR, New York Times, Washington Post and the CDC (no surprise there really).
As Kennedy’s new book, “The Real Anthony Fauci” rose to the top of the bestseller list in recent weeks, the blue check bourgeoisie started to panic because his work reveals, amongst other things, that they are charlatans.
So the Associated Press (AP) assigned six “reporters” to put out a 4,000-word hit piece on Kennedy.
This appears to be part of a wave of paid retribution stemming from Kennedy’s extraordinary record of successfully challenging the dishonest Pharma narrative.
The AP hit piece reveals nothing new about Kennedy but it tells us heaps about the worldview and mindset of the corrupt white-collar class that makes their bread defending the Pharma cartel.
Whether you like him or not, Kennedy is a serious scholar. “The Real Anthony Fauci” is 480 pages and involved a team of more than 20 world-class research scholars working for more than a year.
It is perhaps the most damning indictment of a political figure in American history. It deserves a serious reading.
What’s fascinating about the AP hit piece is that they are terrified to engage with the actual argument itself. Their sole interaction with the book consists of a quick keyword search for the words “ivermectin” and “hydroxychloroquine.”
The AP writes:
“Kennedy uses the book to push unproven COVID-19 treatments such as ivermectin, which is meant to treat parasites …”
Imagine thinking that this was some sort of gotcha!? We are left with one of two unpleasant possibilities — either the AP writers are just plain dumb or they are lying. I’m not sure which is worse.
The AP seems unaware that William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2015 for the discovery and development of ivermectin (back in the 1970s).
The AP seems unaware that the World Health Organization has ivermectin on its list of essential medicines.
The AP seems unaware that there are 136 studies on the safety and effectiveness of ivermectin in connection with SARS-CoV-2 and they are all available (here).
The AP seems unaware that 3.7 billion doses of ivermectin have been used safely worldwide since 1987.
The AP seems unaware that ivermectin is a broad-spectrum anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-parasite, anti-inflammatory that also appears to have anti-cancer properties and it’s more gentle than aspirin.
Remember, the AP had six reporters working on this, and not a single one of them could locate any of these available facts???
The blue check bourgeoisie are obsessed with trying to defend vaccines and discredit ivermectin even as they refuse to read any of the underlying scientific literature because to understand the truth of this situation would reveal that everything that they believe is a lie.
Later in the article, the AP is breathless and freaked out that Kennedy is pretty good at raising money (according to the AP, Kennedy’s non-profit Children’s Health Defense brought in $6.8 million in 2020).
Okay, but Autism Speaks brought in $94.7 million in 2020 and accomplished absolutely nothing so $6.8 million for fighting global Pharma totalitarianism seems like a bargain by comparison.
The corrupt mainstream are fixated on this notion (surely invented by one of the big Pharma PR firms) that opposing vaccine mandates is somehow profitable.
It shows that these people have no ability to mentally position-switch (the foundation of empathy) and put oneself in the shoes of another.
Everyone in the movement for medical freedom who battles in the trenches every day knows that challenging the Pharma cartel results in endless bigotry from former friends, family and colleagues — routine death threats — and a massive, lifelong decline in income.
No one would ever endure this level of abuse for the money.
This angle of attack is also strange and illogical because these reporters never question the hundreds of billions of dollars that Pharma makes from vaccines and the prescription drugs used to treat vaccine injury (EpiPens, asthma inhalers, diabetes treatments, Risperdal, etc.).

The article is a sad time capsule that perfectly symbolizes the intellectual and moral collapse of the mainstream news industry in the face of the pandemic.
Reporters never challenge power anymore. They do not do any investigative research. Their jobs are not well paid and being a reporter is no longer a viable career path.

“Let us celebrate Holy Days all year long!”
Well I have to admit I may have taken much for granted finding that there is a lot of debate regarding the celebration of Jesus’ birthday. Though I find many compelling points being made I can see pros and cons both ways as if we celebrate something that is saying on the one hand it is all about Jesus while participating in extravagant indulgences of eating being merry or getting gifts versus not doing anything to commemorate the actual birth of the Savior of mankind God Himself making His appearance as one of us in the same form of an innocent baby begotten and delivered through the sanctified womb of the Holy Mary, the actual Mother of God! I see where often times Protestants want to argue blue in the face about how Catholics and many other Christian denominations are so wrong about one thing or another and I ask those Protestants how is it that you are so absolutely correct and right on all points? Not possible and Martin Luther was a heretic and I think the whole reformation was a deal gone amuck! So all this finger pointing and trying to discredit one another or call other people evil for supporting pagan holidays is not doing the world or any of us a bit of good! I ask myself would Jesus mind if I celebrate His being birthed by a human through the Holy Blessed Virgin, in any way a bad thing to do, and I get a resounding absolutely not; He wants us to love the fact that He or God chose the Salvation of we fallen sinners to be achieved by His doing it through Humanity and becoming one of us because He loves us so much He wants to become that personal and not just a God in absolute Holiness who could have saved us by some sterile or God imagined Miraculous way, but that would not be anything so personal; and we could not relate to on a person to person basis!
I think too many people these days are wasting time on things they shouldn’t be and want to pick fights with others which if you think hard is exactly what the Devil wants us to do so we are further scattered and at war with each other, ourselves and God! I see how so many people just don’t get it when it’s so simple and in your faces! I also can say we should not overindulge in these celebrations but make it a beautiful time of reflection, meditation and prayer showing genuine love for our God and Savior Jesus Christ by also loving each other on that celebration and all year long! The same for Easter we absolutely should celebrate the Resurrection and our Lord’s overcoming death for any who will listen and follow Him! Sincerity and genuine love for our God is the key; no bickering and saying this is all stupid or a waste and pagan; such a person is being ridiculous and selfish and perhaps even too self-righteous thinking they are closer to Jesus by doing it, so I don’t want to put those individuals down but if they are happy not celebrating Christmas then fine be happy in your non-celebration! I love to at least acknowledge a beautiful occasion, the birth of my Jesus our Savior and my personal Savior with genuine love and appreciation in my heart, but not over indulging in anything that would be displeasing to our Lord God!
So here are a few thoughts I found and some Scriptures to help I hope to consider the Truth of what is going on and how best we should proceed forward and “be saved which is what it’s all about!” None of us is perfect or able to account for all things and facts pertaining to when Jesus Christ was on earth; we do the best we can with what we have to work with and always consider there is room for improvements, further enlightenment, but not by shredding others or the Birth of Jesus to bits in the process!

When I was a child, reading Jeremiah 10 is what sold me on not keeping Christmas. I was attending a Sunday keeping church at the time, and had the experience of keeping xmas. Actually, I believe that many of the holidays…not all of them, are counterfeit of God’s holy days.. God set up holy days that he commands for us to keep. My experience in keeping these holy days are more fulfilling than the holidays, that were set up by man. After I grew up, I started attending a church of God, that was more aligned with what the Bible taught. My children did not keep the holidays, and saw other children keeping them. They kept the holydays, and knew how much fun they were, and the lasting joy that goes with them. I asked them, which they preferred to keep. And they replied God’s holy days. Especially the Feast of Tabernacles, which is the most joyous of all. You don’t know the joy of God’s holy days, until you experience them for yourself. The Feast of Tabernacles includes a time of travel, centered around family and last for 8 days and not ONE anti-climactic day!
I Thessalonians 5:21. May God our Father and His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ our Lord help you to test those spirits or spirit you are hearing. Are they or is it of God?

Quite a journey brother Joe! Sounds like it was a hard fought one but necessary overall and a God Send for you! I think you discovered more about your own identity than you could have otherwise and so a blessing in disguise; especially if you look at it that way and want it to be! My dad said many times “when taking on life’s challenge it’s all in the approach,” and that goes with any difficulties we have to face! I know from my own experience some of us are better off facing those challenges alone in order to build character and really find ourselves in order to become the best person we can be.
