Pre-Lent Preparation: Septuagesima, Sexagesima and Quinquagesima

Kathleen, Thank you for this strikingly beautifully descriptive overview and specific explanation of the Lenten Season leading up to in my view the 2nd most precious miracle of faith, of to me the duel or joined miracles, the start on Christmas to the finish and all it represents; from God the Father in heaven being Easter; when His son Jesus arose from death in fulfillment of the Holy Scriptures to establish the New and Everlasting Covenant for all who follow Christ Jesus. Christmas being the great joy and Alleluia to the world, announcing the King being born to begin His journey here on earth in the flesh; in order to save God’s children from the sting of death that possesses this world of imperfection and sin, whereby He would end His journey here on the cross where He conquers all sin and thus begins the New and Everlasting Covenant of life eternal for us to claim as heirs in Paradise as the children of God; through His sacrifice by the Body and Blood of Christ Jesus.

Prominent to me is this description; “a remote preparation for Easter, serves as a time of transition for the soul, which must pass from Christmas joys to the stern penance of the sacred forty days.” This so poignantly and clearly points to Christ’s journey and mission of fulfillment that we should be totally humbled by, and determined to express our deepest humility from our immortal souls; to desire only to rise above this flesh life of vanity and loss, which is clearly pronounced in this following Scripture; “Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, Vanity of vanities! All is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2.

Then this most well defined description of how we should perceive our obedience during this Lenten season; “The liturgy Sexagesima emphasizes humility – not a self-conscious piety, not a superiority in one’s idea of holiness, but a realization that one is ultimately judged in the revealing light of absolute Truth, free of all justifications and rationalizations. It is this humility that becomes a strength in one’s battle to attain salvation.” This made possible, “Christ’s birth in our mortal flesh, is reserved to extol Him when born in His undying Body, i.e. when He rises from the tomb. “Born once of the Virgin, thou art now reborn from the sepulchre,” will then be the cry of the Church.”

And of course as you made so easy to understand by this, “Septuagesima Sunday as that on which “we lay aside the song of the Lord which is Alleluia.” “How,” said the people of Israel, “shall we sing the song of the Lord in a strange land?”
This “strange land” is for the people of Christ, the world, which is a place of exile, while Alleluia, the chant St. John heard in heaven, will begin again in the liturgy at Paschaltide, which represents the future life. In the Easter festivities we shall hail our Lord, the conqueror of Satan, who while freeing us from the bondage of sin, will re-open to us the heavenly kingdom.”

I quoted these words to emphasize these words, because they illustrate so succinctly “the mystery and greatest of gifts” ever given to any human being, but, moreover beyond mere gift giving this is a “restoration and elevation” from this fallen state and carnal nature of material earthly life; to our “rightful place in the kingdom of God as His beloved children” brought back to Him by His only begotten Son our Lord, Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ; the Good Shepherd who journeyed through the darkness to find all of His lost sheep. Referring to the Alleluia you quote: “How,” said the people of Israel, “shall we sing the song of the Lord in a strange land?”
I also stopped and meditated a while on those words that come from the “Saint Andrew daily missal”.

And then you say: “ This “strange land” is for the people of Christ, the world…”

Yes, I agree. This world for faithful Christians is our exile, as we pray in the “Hail Holy Queen”, a strange land where there is much suffering, and any happiness is only fleeting, never fulfilling us as our hearts desire. We were made for Heaven and here below, “our hearts are restless until they rest in You, O Lord” – (Saint Augustine).
St Thérèse of Lisieux, another favourite saint of mine, often wrote and composed poems on the mystery of our sojourn in this “strange land”. But it is the place where we must “work out our salvation in fear and trembling” as we keep our eyes fixed on Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Lent, for all its forty days of sacrifices and penance, is a wonderful time of preparation for the coming promises of Our Lord’s Resurrection if we are able to live it well. But frail creatures that we are, a little time like we are in right now to “man up” and put some plans in place, is very helpful. It is so sad the post Vatican Two destroyers did away with it… although apparently it was never formally abrogated.

You’re absolutely most welcome Kathleen, but, it is I who must be thankful to you for providing this opportunity to respond to something so beautiful and so assuredly of paramount importance to us all, which I read and found the words and especially the deep feeling stirring in my soul, as I again experienced in reading what you have said in such beautifully descriptive words from a place so special within you that only Jesus knows so well! As with me I have no doubt that the Holy Spirit spoke here, and I am just little old sinner Lawrence who is shedding some tears now as I try to remain focused on whatever it is I should say about this matter. Because if we can try our best to do as you so poignantly described in this very important article, being alert and obedient to the Father’s will; we can be vessels or conduits for the Holy Spirit to pour out and fill us with God’s Truth; so that we might be as helpful as possible while here making it a certainty not only being those that will hear when we face our Lord on judgment day; “well done my good and faithful servant,” but those who will as one of your favorite saints you mention here, “St Thérèse of Lisieux,” we will serve as instruments in this long arduous process of “Salvation” for the multitudes throughout the world who want to be saved, need to be saved and must be saved from eternal damnation or the otherwise complete separation from God Almighty forever; as that is a most assuredly horrid ending for any soul and we always should pray that only souls that absolutely belong in hell will be there!

Of course we of faith know that with God anything is possible; being the God of endless possibilities, we should have confidence and know in our heart of hearts that this is a “saving mission” that Jesus Christ initiated and “good will overcome evil, every evil;” while the light will always shine into the darkness bringing hope and the “Lord’s Salvation” to all those who deserve it; not one lamb will be lost from His herd, He being the Good Shepherd; knows all of His own and they know Him! No greater bond of love can I put this into context with than to say what’s been said countless times already of how Great the Love between Holy Mary, Jesus Christ her Son and His with the Father’s endless absolute love for her! So then, this is the love I speak of here, and, it all comes from Almighty God; who loves all of His children with this same absolute love!

You mentioned a piece of Scripture that is very powerful and appropriate, as I see it here vastly important that we know from a faithful servant of the Lord who was given a final opportunity to break free from the arduous but monumental task she was given; or to carry on to the end until God’s will would be done in that particular case! Again, I shed tears now thinking of this sacrifice and love for Jesus Christ by a mere person that came to mind immediately when you mentioned Philippians 2:12 “work out your own salvation with great fear and trembling” You know her name the one I’m speaking about known as Emily Rose in America, depicted in the film the “Exorcism of Emily Rose” who suffered what we can’t even imagine; by being attacked by several demons that possessed her unto death, so that her willingness to fulfill God the Father’s will, would ultimately serve the Great Purpose of “saving many souls from hell.”

Emily chose to allow her young unfulfilled life by earthly or worldly terms to be cut short, in order to serve God which is something all of us should strive harder to do! As you said, this is no easy task and easier said than done, because we tarry or falter in some of the simplest things let alone transformational spiritual matters between earth and God! So your words here are very to the point and the task at hand, “But frail creatures that we are, a little time like we are in right now to “man up” and put some plans in place, is very helpful.”

Not fearing the things of this world is fine but fear of God is wise as it humbles us to make certain we know we aren’t worthy in the slightest and we are not home free until we are past the pearly gates, so there is no slacking or doing as we damn well please, then just when it’s time to face death we suddenly can say, hey I’m good I like Jesus and always did! As it is written, “There is none righteous, no, not one.” Romans 3:10
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8
We should as you mentioned see our sojourns as being that of exiles from our rightful home and that we should not desire to be a part of this world but to live our lives in accordance with the Almighty, until our road here comes to its end.

Are we worthy of praise for some of the things we have done for others or in the name of Jesus, surely some of us can rest assured of that, but we can also be certain that we carry sin and guilt that will not go away and we will not be free of until we are in heaven with God the Father, through and by the forgiveness of our transgressions only by Jesus Christ Himself, and that is why we need to be concerned to a great degree if we don’t call it outright fear, we are all in jeopardy and are in a most tumultuous world these days full of vanity and sin in so many basic things we participate in; which serve the beast or the prince of this world and not our heavenly Father. Can we judge ourselves, of course not, we are mere humans that die, but, the one who can is who we should fear because we don’t know whether we are truly worthy until He the Lord our God tells us so!
“I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.” Jeremiah 17:10
What we want to hear from our Lord when we stand before him is simply this: “Well done, good and faithful servant!” Matthew 25:23.

Now to this point about fear! I believe everyone should have a healthy dose of fear as we are all fallen and our souls are a glimmer away from eternal damnation if not for the Lamb of God who took away sin on the cross at Calvary, for those who will abide in Him! But, I think some people get the idea it’s not hard at all Jesus did us all a favor and took care of all the dirty details of our transgressing nature, “the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak,” and our souls that have at least original sin to begin with; and I dare say most of us are nothing but dirty rags, without “Jesus and His salvation,” we’re not even worthy to be near Holy God Almighty let alone look at Him! No; I mention again as in Holy Scripture it tells us clearly:
“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12

“The film suggests a respect for simple faith, the trusting unsophisticated faith of ordinary people that more educated critics look down on as superstitious or simplistic. This is the case with Emily Rose’s parents and their beliefs and trust in the priest. It is glib to disregard anything that is not understood as ‘medieval superstition’.

During the latter part of the 20th century, many have struggled with the questions of evil in the world and how this relates to traditional teachings and beliefs about the devil and evil spirits. The film highlights the reality of evil in our world, the power of evil as well as of the divine.

The answer to some of these questions that the screenplay offers harks back to previous centuries, especially to those women who experienced apparitions whether it be Anne Catherine Emmerich, Bernadette, the children of Fatima or more recent visionaries. Emily Rose is presented as one of these. She sees Mary and receives a message.

In 2004, a number of Catholics found the spirituality in Mel Gibson’s The Passion of the Christ too focused on Jesus’ sufferings and the implication of cruelty on the part of the Father and not enough on resurrection hope. A similar critique might be made here. Emily Rose is given the option of being freed from possession by exorcism or continuing to be possessed until her death in order to witness to the world that there is a supernatural world, that evil exists and invades the world but that the presence of God is stronger.

This spirituality of victimhood has a strong tradition. In more recent centuries, saints like Therese of Lisieux offered her ‘little way’ of community contemplative life for the labours of overseas missionaries. Saints like Gemma Galgani or St John Vianney had experiences similar to those of Emily Rose in combating the devil. The efficacy and relevance of this kind of spirituality will be continually argued. The film does not follow the path of some recent visionaries (and of some whose messages have been discredited) in being pessimistic about the world and uttering apocalyptic condemnations. The message here is that redemption is possible and that good will overcome evil.

The film raises the question as to the nature of holiness and who are saints. In the secularized Western world, people tend to be very skeptical about the possibility of saints. It is an unspoken assumption that saints should be ‘normal’. When the saint is less than perfect, especially if influenced by a psychological condition, their holiness is dismissed – except in literature where Dostoievski’s The Idiot and characters who resemble him can be extolled. Fr. Moore claims that Emily Rose is a saint. He tells her story in court, challenging the audience to consider whether they think she is a saint and that this is an example of sanctity. This is clearly a challenge to the theological stances of the audience and the nature of their own spirituality and piety.”

The Septuagesima season always begins with the ninth week before Easter and includes three Sundays called respectively Septuagesima, Sexagesima and Quinquagesima. These names which were borrowed from the numeral system of the time, denote a series of decades working back from the commencement of Lent, which is known in Latin as Quadragesima. [As the intervals between these Sundays only consist of seven days it is evident that this name must not be taken in a strictly arithmetical sense; but whereas Quadragesima comes exactly at the closing day of the 4th decade before Easter, Quinquagesima (47 days) falls within the 5th decade, Sexagesima (54 days) within the 6th, Septuagesima ’61 days) within the 7th.]

In this way Holy Mother Church, in her great wisdom, wishes us to think about how we should profit from the coming Lenten season, which commences with Ash Wednesday on 17th February this year of the Lord…

Mary’s Solitude During the Public Life of Jesus

“Thanks and Reverence to the Blessed Mother Mary”
Catholics believe that worship is due to God alone. Catholics do, however, venerate Mary. In other words, we honor our Blessed Mother with great reverence and devotion because she is the Mother of God. Mary is the model of perfect love and obedience to Christ. God preserved Mary from sin, and she conceived our Lord by the power of the Holy Spirit, bringing Christ into our world. Catholics can’t help but honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is full of grace, the Mother of God and our Mother, for her “yes” to God that made the Incarnation possible. And without the Incarnation, we would not have salvation. Mary is the most beautiful model of total submission to the will of God. Catholics do not view Mary as equal to Christ, but rather venerate Mary because of her relationship to Christ. The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains, “Mary’s role in the Church is inseparable from her union with Christ and flows directly from it” (CCC 964).

As Catholics, we pray that we can respond to God’s call to holiness for our lives in the way that Mary did. Mother Theresa prayed to emulate Mary’s devotion to Christ:
“Mary, Mother of Jesus, give me your heart so beautiful, so pure, so immaculate,  so full of love and humility that I may be able to receive Jesus in the Bread of Life,  love Him as You loved Him, and serve Him as You served Him….”

God chose Mary to be the “Blessed Virgin” in order to manifest “His Plan and Family” as well as the Church He created; but Mary facilitated this will of God’s by being the only human fully obedient flesh; that contained Holiness! Jesus Christ could only come here to save us by this one human being Mary; the Mother of Jesus Christ who is our Savior, that part of the Blessed Holy Trinity that comprises our Creator; our Father who is in heaven!

I think of Mother Mary’s trial on this fallen earth or world as a struggle with that very thing the Holy Scriptures tell us about the ways of the world and the corrupted nature how it seeks to ruin and tear apart the good that does exist among the vile and uncharitable viciousness that stalks or shadows our lives while we are here.

To relinquish the things of this world or offer up our own lives as a sacrifice is so difficult a thing to do for anyone, but Mary did just that and in spades. Her short lived joys of having a wonderful good and noble hard working man as her husband; then together they shared in the monumental joy and honor to parent the “Son of God Almighty” actually being those most special parents on earth that nurtured and watched over as those earthly parents, the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind, as He grew up to fulfill God’s prophecy becoming the Lamb of God; in the flesh the Man Jesus who at the same time was the Christ, who would carry not only His most special cross, the cross of Salvation, but all crosses for human sins that all of us commit being fallen from God’s grace and absolute Holy perfection.

Mary’s longing and pain is beyond my personal perception not only because I’m a man not a mother but also because she is the Blessed Mother chosen by God to be the vessel of the immaculate conception being so closely connected to God the Father and the Son, her Son also by physical fact but also by spiritual Divine Intention of God the Creator making in her a bond of unimaginable power and Holiness that she would have to endure on her own accompanied by the Holy Spirit to the finish; and then thereafter until her own death, all the while feeling the majesty of the King having been part of her, but, then yanked away by this corrupted world and all of its sin and death to fulfill “the greatest of all missions” ever conducted on earth! But, she had been so blessed with the greatest humility and completely unselfish humanness, setting an example for all mothers and indeed parents to model themselves after.

The sorrow she endured knowing and seeing the most high, God incarnate and only perfect human, taking on the suffering due to all human sin and from all humans who deserve it; is unimaginable to me, but I can see how her sorrow was a sorrow of “all sorrows” that only a mother can come close to appreciating the crushing loss she felt; as she was really only a human being and woman, though specially blessed; at that point doing God’s will on earth and faithfully following His requirements each day to the end of her own road here, that she had to bear witness to this unimaginable magnitude of suffering that came upon Jesus who was flesh of her flesh, and whose heart was entwined completely with hers, in this most unique bond of love and enduring commitment to God the Father and His Son; what a Mother! I tear now, thinking of her and Jesus; how she is the only soul and human ever; to have this miraculous bond with the Creator. This is why I know she was given the honor and reverence that she alone deserves and it does make sense that the all-knowing and loving merciful God would do this; for her sacrifice and faithful devotion to her Son and the Father who are both in heaven in their glory; giving Mary the honor, great respect and appreciation she earned, being so humble and thankful for her mission and suffering!

Now she is given the special place of being our Holy Mother of the Church of Christ’s family, whose devotion to that living Church and we its members deserve as children of God! And Mary knows like no other what her need was like as she had and lived through it from the time of the immaculate conception and forward only fulfilling God’s will; now doing the Father’s will as always we have Mother Mary’s intercession in behalf of her Son Jesus, pleading our cases as the greatest advocate anyone could have who can help the original mission of the New and Everlasting Covenant, to save souls that the Father and Son by their love and reverence for her, allow her to come to our aid to encourage us on our personal journeys; so as not to be alone suffering as she had to, but, to always have that motherly Church presence connected to the heavenly kingdom in that most special way that only she can, and is always being in the ready to act in our best interests as an intercessor, having only our best interest in heart; between we who are fallen from grace and that most Holy Heavenly Family of the Christ Church, that Blessed Trinity; by the will of the Father and through the Son Jesus Christ our Lord, Savior and Redeemer. Mary pleads for our safe passage from this world to heaven.

First John 2:15-16 says, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world.”

“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23,

Apostle Paul reminded us, “whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.” Philippians 3:7-8

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:40

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Galatians 1:10 says, “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

Clearly from this verse, we cannot consistently please both God and the world. The desire for popularity and even fame or fortune is rooted in our old sinful nature.

When we give in to it, we are living “according to the flesh” (Romans 8:5, 12). Blessed Mother Mary did not do this at all. She denied self!

We are to “seek first” God’s kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
(Matthew 6:24) “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” Or material Life!

Saturday is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today let us meditate on her solitude during those three years of her Divine Son’s public life.

The role of the Blessed Virgin during the public life of her Son was totally hidden: a life of loving contemplation, prayer and sacrifice. An essential part of this sacrifice was her solitude.

But what loneliness! Let us think of a poor widow when her only son is at war: what anguish! She is told that he will have to take part in a very dangerous battle, what agony! And at last she is told that death is inevitable, what an ordeal! What bitter loneliness for such a mother,whose life can be compared to a deserted road that ends in the desert.

But what are these examples of human loneliness compared to the life of Our Lady? For her, her Child Jesus and her Bridegroom…

Cardinal Juan Sandoval Iñiguez deserves great thanks and praise for being and doing what a good Cardinal of the church should, when so many are not! I’ve found that so few officials of the government or Church have the intestinal fortitude to step outside of the fray and establishment rhetoric this way and serve the people as they should, “doing God’s will to bring light and guidance” to a global deception of darkness that’s growing by the hour!

I’ve found through my own searching and asking the Holy Spirit to guide me, much information like Cardinal Iniguez provides here in this fine article and how some of the professors, scientists or doctors I’ve located worldwide are telling us so much truth like this information provided here that is being suppressed by the NWO machine and most nefarious persons on earth! The enemies are closing in being inspired by the master of all lies the Devil who is their General and gives them their marching orders, along with the earthly power or riches they seek; but all for naught, as nothing here is lasting or will give eternal life in Paradise with our heavenly Father. What these cohorts and minions do is cancel themselves out from God’s perfect and most precious beautiful plan for we his children created in His likeness; and they will get exactly what they deserve! Guava is a tropical fruit common in Mexico whose leaves are considered medicinal. It’s unclear where and when Sandoval pronounced the homily.

He delivered a message of hope, “Don’t be afraid,” thus angering the oligarch media which insist on scaring people into Covid-19 angst.

For Sandoval, “it is clear that those who have created this pandemic, which is a blunderbuss for the domination of the people, oblige the governments to scare us.”

First I felt rage at first seeing the video of this brave young Patriot USAF veteran and mother being blown away like garbage by a Nazi Security Thug as I see him! Then I had to cry for Ashli Babbitt followed by my solemn prayer for her immortal soul which in my own fallen human state know she deserves and is in heaven now, as we all grapple with the aftermath of this hideous event that was not at all necessary even with a breach of the Capitol building; where are contingencies and protocols that they surely must have in the Center of US Government Power in Washington DC! Evil from hell was at work as it has been throughout the last few years being usurped by many renegade deeply corrupt politicians like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, Jerry Nadler and of course the infamous wicked Joe Biden known in some parts as a mob archetype “Scranton Joe” who is being installed by a fraud and manipulated election which involved foreign adversaries to America namely The Chinese government CCP who have Biden on a leash to be used as their useful idiot to do more of God only knows what to gain more power and influence over the United States, and even take possession of it like many souls already have been by diabolical evil! I place the blame squarely for this and all the previous violence throughout this past year on the backs and heads of the entire Democrat Communist/Nazi Party that has done nothing but fabricate and concoct any falsehood they could to not only ruin Trump’s Presidency but anyone who would be in the way of their seizing absolute complete control of the government; from going after the character and integrity of fine judges like Kavanaugh to Barrett or General Flynn a decorated outstanding Christian Patriot American, to basically anyone that was supporting Trump and Making America Great Again! These Archbishops Gomez and Cordileone are despicable coming out like this in attack mode of Trump and the protestors when they were totally silent during all of the ensuing riots and mayhem throughout the summer by Antifa and Blm, who were given praises for peaceful protest by MSM and all establishment quarters including these same crony bigoted archbishops who obviously are in league with the False Pope Bergoglio Freemason devils of the Church who are promoting the NWO and communist totalitarian agenda of the far left elitists moving ever closer to the staging of the antichrist on earth!

All I can say to that is I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes when they have to explain to God Almighty why they did these things and where were they when so much evil was being promoted, say for example in San Francisco Cordileone’s and Nancy Pelosi’s area of influence, while the city has decayed into utter violent, degenerate sinful havens perhaps worse in some ways than Sodom and Gomorrah was in its time because these fraudulent despots, they have not influenced good there but quite the opposite as these two minions of darkness bring ruin or encourage it by not standing up against that which is evil or in the least criminal, but can be finding all of this fault now in this incident which in my mind was a justified protest rally, as their intent as “True Patriots” was to be heard loud and clear by the law makers who are not doing their job; that this recent election can’t be accepted being so corrupted! So as good citizens they wanted it to be thoroughly gone over with the fine tooth comb and examined for any and all breaches of Constitutional Law and even State Laws governing the election process in order to make certain the end result is the rightful candidates are elected and installed into the offices of president and vice president! It’s obvious that was what these Patriots where there for, they weren’t gang members or thugs like Antifa (classified as a domestic terror group) and others who riot in the streets recently! They actually could have been approached these Patriots, and asked if they could hold back while officials are asked if they could be given an audience to be heard briefly and hear their heart felt sincere feelings and thoughts but Ashli gets shot in the heart; this being the action of a Nazi Gestapo not the seat of Great America’s government of the people! George Floyd was mentioned here in the commentary and he was one case that came to my mind immediately as to how two-faced the entire MSM, establishment and even many members of the clergy who had been so supportive of a street career criminal thug, causing his own demise with a lifelong behavior of repeated criminal activity and arrests and in the end he wouldn’t cooperate with authorities escalating the dangerous situation causing more violence than was necessary to deescalate his lack of cooperation of what should have been a simple arrest. Here we had a very unusual set of circumstances with these Patriot Protesters concerns about a major election riddled with FRAUD and much of which the DC Capitol Police and other authorities were aware was a building situation of possible emotional potentiality days if not weeks prior to the Rally and “March for Election Integrity,” but, they have a NAZI style cop that shoots point blank at a little woman climbing over a partition/door and that requires a lethal shot to her chest? In street vernacular of days gone by and even now he is a PIG! He is also a condemned man for what he did because with approaching security coming up from behind the Protestors with Ashli; who were armed and fully capable of containing any violence, but instead this despot of law enforcement blew away a young mother and Veteran for no good cause at all, and in my opinion he should get life in prison for cold blooded murder! His badge doesn’t give him authority to assassinate anyone! These sick and twisted archbishops jumping in as they have condescending like wolves in sheep’s clothing and with the twisting or concocting of the narrative they promote, they are stained with the blood of this victim on their hands as well! They are wicked men who should be excommunicated from the church immediately but that won’t happen because they are establishment crony devils and in union with the evermore wicked and evil Bergoglio with his internal corrupted church hierarchy! I’m sorry if this all sounds so accusatory or harsh to any one of you but this is how I truly see it and I know I’m at least in large part correct and won’t change my mind one bit! Why? Because this incident and circumstance could have been handled completely different as I’m sure it was something that was anticipated in light of the fact of how much corruption the Democrat Party is guilty of with all of their many treasonous acts since 2016 alone and Biden being a career politician organized crime racketeer and traitor for 47 years!

But where have you crooked church officials been during this time not pointing out the severe injustices and crime being committed even in your communities by so called members of the flock like Biden, who is always declaring he is a Catholic but living in total opposition to the tenets of the faith and an outright lying blasphemer of God Almighty! You foolish men who now give a bit of your lip service to his incident to obviously promote the same evil MSM and Establishment NWO narrative you’ve all been silent about all these years, you carry guilt that will sink you to the pits of hell when your judgment day comes! The world should wake up NOW and honor this young women Ashli Babbitt far exceedingly over all that unjustified hoopla and nonsense, then destruction, over that criminal Floyd who did nothing for anyone but himself and even there he failed miserably having no moral compass or the slightest bit of integrity; while this woman cared for and served her country and fellow Americans! She is a hero; to me a saintly wonderful lady and mother! Change Resolutions; Like Fish in the Sea

Can people really change you may ask? I pose another question to answer that!

Can people really try and do they try, genuinely try, to alter their ways or thinking comprehensively and permanently? If they won’t actually try then talking to them about change is like speaking to a blank wall or as if they are giving lip service to be in the groove with the status-quo and say my New Year’s resolution is to do such and such then why bother saying anything if it’s not a true commitment, and therein lies a massive problem in today’s modern society of instant gratification and too much to be had, which easily transports us to this sad destination, lack of commitment, by many people in many walks of life; in general I think fewer people make lasting commitments that mean anything in today’s fast past dynamic flowing digital age where things are not only here today and gone tomorrow but with the blink of an eye a person can be on to bigger and better things or so they may think, when in actuality are deluded and living in a trance induced by multiple delusions coming at all of us from all directions at once in the cyber-istic high-tech world we are all now caught up in where MSM plays with our minds and manipulates to keep the truth from us and to cause us to believe falsehood as truth! Master plans of deception abound and we are like the fish of the sea moving in massive schools with the tide, currents, food supply and other stimuli like predator avoidance. They tend to be doing what they must habitually to carry on and live or survive just for the sake of surviving; an instinctual thing. People of course are much more complex than fish but my thought is that they aren’t much different when it comes down to the prime ingredients or reason to survive and carry on. People are creatures of habit and tend to follow patterns just like the fish in the sea and stay or go where the action is where they get what they need generally making a buck or pound; to live another day! People being more complex make many conscious decisions to do one thing or another every moment of every day, much of it out of necessity in order to survive and carry on doing what it is they do as individuals and as a member of a society or school of people in a sense. I think really changing has to come from a very needed necessity to change or it will fall by the wayside and be just another empty promise or dream and many human habits especially in the substance abuse realm are imprinted in behavior patterns and indeed brain synapses many times being almost impossible to change like say a heroin addict who wants to go cold turkey and kick the habit, stands about a snowball’s chance in hell of making it happen; unless some very powerful counter force or measure is put into play.

Sir Issace Newton’s theories of motion are brilliant and science at its best which though they are talking about heavenly bodies in space and their perpetual motions these concepts I find can be applied to human beings on various levels! “Newton developed his laws of motion in 1666, when he was only 23 years old. In 1687, he presented the laws in his seminal work “Principia Mathematica Philosophiae Naturalis,” in which he explained how outside forces affect the movement of objects.”

“In classical mechanics, Newton’s laws of motion are three laws that describe the relationship between the motion of an object and the forces acting on it. The first law states that an object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless it is acted upon by an external force.”

I say we move along in our lives in one path or direction or another until something causes us to alter or CHANGE that path we are traveling on for some very substantial REASON. We must have a powerful reason and one which can overpower the wrong path or motion of our lives in order to put it on an improved or whole new trajectory! Yes, I say actually by these principles being taken into account; I’m thinking a person can change dramatically, but it takes a whole lot to make that happen or they will stay in the same old orbit to the end of the line! What is that reason or force? It can vary depending on the individual and what needs to be changed in order to effectuate a new direction or path. Underlying this I see the inherent weakness in mankind being subject to failure as a given that is built in, just by the sheer fact we live in a finite decaying world where eventually everything changes even if it doesn’t want to or seems to not change much by human time scale standards! This is a place of dynamic total change, because of conflicting forces along with built in synergistic balance that must eventually fail, which is all inevitable; so what the heck can this add up to and more importantly is it worth trying to change once a given person is in a groove or even rut? My friends I address this whole exercise on a different level be it wanting change on a simplistic level such as cutting down ones calories and dropping some unneeded weight to the broader and more to me fundamental question, which should be paramount on all of our minds each and every day! What does my life mean or add up to and where will I end up when I die; which could be in a moment or many years to decades from now; nonetheless what do I ponder about; that bigger question which depending on the answer could mean I’ll go far beyond this short temporary life or I might just be maggot food after all is said and done and nothing more. My honest belief and conviction that I know from life experience, some knowledge through study and deep thought or debate, but, along with my now ever present faith, is that I’m much more important than “here today and gone tomorrow,” in celestial terms, and I will be in a better place with the Master or Architect and Maker of this existence. Because I see all of this as a truth and reality that I can wrap my head and heart around to a great degree; I see this short life here as more inconvenience and a transitional period; so it’s not something to be picky about small stuff and silly contrivances, but as being more important to make sure I at least address this large scale question daily as to am I preparing as best I can for that infinite journey beyond so that I am allowed to be part of all that is good, or am I arrogant enough to think I can be my own boss and design my own destiny by dropping a few pounds or not drinking too many ales while doing my own thing because I falsely think those sort of things will bring me some great satisfaction and a greatly improved enhanced version of my life; perhaps if I go to say the gym daily and play around with diet to be a totally fit guy?

Some say this is all an illusion, and, logically one could surmise that is true to the extent that we don’t have all the answers to the endless questions or especially some of the much bigger questions such as to the Why and What is the Meaning to all of this.

Of course I believe there is a purpose to everything that is going on especially in light of the fact that we fallible or imperfect limited beings have a glimpse or view through the crack in the door of what is out there in the vastness of existence; and then there is prophesy to add to this equation that was and is long term insightful bench marks of truth if you will, that have been provided from God to give us His children the guidance we so sorely need.

This is something that I recently wrote into one of my blog essays.

“Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, Vanity of vanities! All is vanity” (Ecclesiastes 1:2,

Romans 8:20 says that all creation was subjected to vanity because of God’s curse. When Adam sinned, God cursed all that He had made (Genesis 3:17–19). In other words, perfection was lost. All of creation is now falling short of its original purpose; rather than working in harmony with God and creation, inhabitants of the earth have turned on each other and against God. We still reel from the effects of that curse. Everything meant to be right side up is upside down. The chaos and insanity of the world as we know it are due to the fact that God has subjected creation to vanity until the time when it will be set free (Romans 8:21).

My friends, this is where my head is and how I perceive my orbit and path through this trial of earthly life. I hope sincerely that some words I said here will be helpful to you or anyone reading them to perhaps alter some negative thought patterns and synapse that cause one to stumble more than they should, and to find a better balance and equilibrium they and all of us need; to live with confidence that the higher power God has provided all the answers which come to us in time and when it is our time! I always loved the story of Saint Thomas Becket a wonderful priest/disciple of Jesus Christ and the “man” in History; for his Great love of God were obvious and powerful as truth came through his voice and actions in that time when the corrupted “establishment” and King Henry II was against him for being so honest and bold about what is right and what is wrong when so many would not! What is more fitting now; than to have our Great President Donald J. Trump make this proclamation to the world and speak in this same way that Thomas Becket spoke in his time; while likewise the modern day corrupted “establishment” is attacking and telling President Trump to shut-up and do as he is told by the tyrants and greedy of our time now! This man Trump who since he was elected President in 2016 has had every conceivable insult and weaponized accusation hurled at him along with outrageous lies and fabricated myths in one witch hunt after another to destroy him! I know from some personal experiences that this man is in office because God anointed him for this position in a most unprecedented time, and, that is why the forces of hell itself through the most nefarious corrupted individuals in our US government are doing all they can to bring him down; these antichrists!
Thank God President Trump is so faithful to Jesus Christ and our Father in heaven having the stamina, wisdom and deep love of God and country to go the distance like a heavy weight prize fighter, the likes of which this Nation hasn’t seen in ages! Thank you for this recognition and affirmation of what I knew already, but, by paying this tribute to these two great men one in the ancient past and one who is with us now, because, this is very inspiring to me and I know this accounting will do so much good in reaching the hearts and minds of many to see TRUTH; God’s TRUTH!

Beautiful and so perfectly timely is this article! Some of my thoughts of late coincide perfectly as I see it all occurring as within this process that God through Holy Scriptures foretold us and by what Saint John Paul II spoke to back when he conveyed some of these things to us when he was the Pope from Poland!
Here is part of a letter I wrote to our President Trump in America just this past week!
“Dear President Trump, First let me say I pray that you actually read this! If not then whoever is reading it I want to tell you something you already know but need to focus on! This is a Nation founded under God Almighty! The almost insurmountable corruption in this country’s government and election mechanisms has gotten so bad that almost all participants are passing the buck and going along to get along; mainly so they don’t get caught up in criminal proceedings that will put major names behind bars for the rest of their lives! DiGenova said what was right to say because the former DHS director and many others in such positions are guilty of Treason on its face by the sheer fact that we’re in this mess; because of lack of oversight and just going along with criminal activities in our government that are too many to mention here; but let’s start with the near crucifixion of our current President Trump prior to his even being sworn in by all of the weaponized lies and phony collusion/impeachment fabrication tossed at him by the DEMs, DNC, DEEP STATE and even foreign participants! Lou Dobbs just said it best; “The Democrats and the deep state this time have put it in our faces,” Dobbs said. “They have said, you know, ‘We’re going to do this, and you’re going to watch us, and you’re going to see us, and you can’t do a damn thing about it because, you know why? Then today I was responding to another bloggers pseudo religious point of view and after that another fine article here that I did reblog!

Katherine, you’re still young enough to have wonder about such things and not being consistent one way or the other isn’t such a dilemma actually! I’ll tell you why I say this, here in America I’ve seen how corruption is eating the good out of the inner workings and heart of a Nation that was blessed being founded under God, the Judea-Christian God that I know is real with no doubt in my mind heart and soul. I used to work as a photojournalist before other careers I’ve had, and saw the political corruption and love of money ruining my country, taking many souls with it, and so I needed to get away from that work into some even harder work, real physical work! Now many years later corruption is rampant throughout the globe in such an unprecedented way and to such levels never seen in history, with much more likelihood that with our technology someone is going to push this mess to the limit and then; it’s all over! But, that was foretold in Holy Scriptures and we are living Bible prophecy right now. This time you and I are in is a time to get ready for the final judgment of this world and many people are running away from the truth while others can see plainly they have to stay wide awake to the facts and truth before them; and seek out what God wants them to do in order to be ready for their own judgment! I say this with love because you’re a good young lady and you don’t have to fret or be puzzled with any of these mundane circumstances or basically man-made trivial pursuits; they lead nowhere anyway! This life passes by so fast and we are nothing more than “flickering flames dancing around at the top of candles out in the vastness and emptiness of space time.” Try to focus on what I say and look inward to your own heart to see what God is saying to you and then take one day at a time and live moment to moment not getting caught up in the frenzied chatter or clutter of modern artificial life, many are being deceived and getting lost in this world now; so don’t let yourself be one of them. Feel free to ask me anything or tell me your own thoughts if you like, but, get to the heart of what I say here!

I don’t know what stopped me from writing for such a long time. It’s like a calling that emerges when I feel like it, when I’m hungry to remember what I’ve always loved.

There are days when I want to tear my soul off and burst into writing, and there are days when I want to be silent and fall into loneliness and sorrow. These are the days when writing is less achievable and when I want to get distracted with my present and work for the future.

Unfortunately for me, these days were like this, and to be truthful, because of duty, I did it all. I have forgotten my liking’s and only sunk into work and chores, as if it were ordinary and always so.

Thanksgiving in the Words of St Catherine of Sienna

A most precious piece of writing and offering to anyone who will read these words that were truly inspired by the Holy Spirit via St. Catherine! Just yesterday on Thanksgiving Day and then again this morning my focus was drawn to some personal communications with other Christian members of my immediate family and some specific people online. These words here tie-in most assuredly and in some cases are verbatim what I had written or said which tells me that God’s Holy Spirit is with us always, but, in this most unprecedented of times being on the verge of many calamities or the actual precipice we all need to open our hearts with genuine humility to allow the Holy Spirit to dwell within our total being so that, then we obtain the full appreciation of God the Father’s love as it permeates our being through the most precious blood of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ; so that we can bath ourselves in that only TRUE MERCY and PURE ETERNAL LOVE! I want to share some of the words I wrote in a reblog of this offering you’ve made on my Word Press blog and also as a long comment here. Thank you very much for this great work all of you do as you consistently serve our Father in heaven, providing many messages for our refinement of our own faith and to open the eyes and hearts of those who are wandering aimlessly and in such danger of peril or disaster. Catholicism Pure & Simple

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! And we do always have so much to be thankful for!

When we think on it, thanksgiving is the language of heaven and all of our favorite saints were proficient at this most joyous virtue. This morning, I was mindful of this as I read the following from dear Saint Catherine, who personifies thanksgiving in all she writes:

“Oh! Good! oh! Eternal Greatness! You made Yourself low and small to make man great. On whichever side I turn I find nothing but the abyss and fire of Your charity. And can a wretch like me pay back to You the graces and the burning charity that You have shown and show with so much burning love in particular to me beyond common charity, and the love that You show to all Your creatures?
