Zero Lift-Off     Only The Beginning

March 28, 2021

“Crisis not Christ being Raised Everywhere!”
Before I even got half way through reading this article I was immediately struck with the clear sense that Bishop Georg Bätzing was some form of Lutheran advocate perhaps following in the footsteps of Martin Luther to radically transform the Catholic Church to meet some modern day influences be they political or cultural.  Then as I read on this was being discussed and viewed in such a light; when I read this, “Cardinal Müller pointed out a “great difference” between that time and now, namely that the issue then was “the sacraments, the authority of the Successors of the Apostles and St. Peter.” Nowadays, he said, “we’re talking about the Protestantization of the Church, but it’s not the Protestantism of the Reformers, rather it’s the Protestantism of liberal theologians who reduce Christianity” only to “certain moral forms, individual or social.”
To me the radical confrontations taking place in society and government, Liberalization; the polluting, is very much the same as we see now the leftist liberals are looking to even radically alter the Church to fit today’s themes of same sex marriage, acceptance of abortion, premarital sex and even some blending of other religions or philosophies with Catholicism, which as I see it would certainly pave the way for the antichrist..

Bishop Georg Bätzing mentioned here, “by describing himself as a “good conservative because I love this Church and gladly give my life and energy to it. But I want it to change.” And by what authority is he basically demanding change? Not God’s as I see it, so who does he think he is to create such discord like this in the Church? Here he states “when it comes to opening up priestly ministry to women, every pope, starting with John Paul II, had “unanimously” answered that question by ruling it out. “Nevertheless,” he said, “it is on the table.”

Then this made it abundantly clear to me that this man either of his own accord or being manipulated by someone or a group is showing with this statement that in his mind change is going to happen one way or another because the current status-quo is unacceptable to him! He continued with outlandish Babble, “Regarding the blessing of same-sex unions, Bishop Bätzing said there was a need for solutions, that he believed it necessary to find liturgical answers “without Rome’s approval,” and that he believed “we should change the Catechism in this sense” after “intense discussion.” What solutions could he be alluding to or how can the Church “find liturgical answers “without Rome’s approval,” because logically as I see it same sex union or marriage is either right or wrong and is condoned or it isn’t by God, and these matters are perfectly clear in Holy Scriptures; case closed! This man is a ranting lunatic in my eyes and he is working for dark ulterior purposes just as we see going on with Bergoglio’s deep involvement with Global Politics and United Nations affiliation a well know highly corrupted organization; along with wicked men like Biden! I can only see all of this hoopla as another sign of the times and the work of Satan to disrupt, cause turmoil, divisiveness, controversy and divide; in this case the Church and flock, as it were! Not a good thing going on here by any means, so our fervent prayers and discipline are strenuously required now; to hold onto our faith, Church and above all our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ whom without there is no Church of God’s; as we proceed through this tumultuous storm!

In a definite way what we see happening here is not unlike such things we see in pop culture where Cardi B who I know is one of the worst female role models on the planet is elevated to some icon stature for the “ways of the world” that now promote to the youth that she like a “whore of Babylon” is someone to emulate and all those wholesome days gone by “wholesome female role models” are a fraud, and only promote whiteness along with the old ways of colonialism; and all you young girls want to get WOKE! This Bishop reminds me of that; like some WOKE cheerleader in the Church! I tend to be a considerate man and very sensitive, but all I want to tell this fool is shut up already you make me sick; and you don’t want to know what that Cardi character makes me feel like or want to say! Dr. Seuss’ books are now classified as grotesque and something that children don’t need to see; but now it’s indecent not to applaud Cardi B’s Grammy immoral simulated sex performance and people need to get WOKE? I say someone forgot to toss out a lot of trash! These same people are redefining morality and putting down so many standard, wholesome, cultural icons and heritages; as a pure example last summer’s riots without accountability when statues of Abraham Lincoln who freed the slaves along with George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and many other historical figures and other such monuments were destroyed, but now because they dictate what is moral we are supposed to accept Cardi and other wickedness or unsavory characters as not just acceptable but someone to idolize, and yes, in a sense worship or adore! Do you see where I’m going here; how the “ways of the world” are firmly in the clutches of Satan and he wants the younger people to worship the world, and not God and Jesus; then to of course, following in line with that evil; to turn to Satan and worship him! If this isn’t “End Time” then there must be some stage of reckoning and chastisement coming that I’m not aware of and missed somewhere along the line, but as before the flood, when Noah prepared; the world was in a whirlwind of debauchery, sin, folly and madness right to the moment of calamity!

That is a Demon look!

We are now living in a world that is far worse than Sodom and Gomorrah or Noah’s time of the flood ever could have been in their rampant decadence and stupidity! We who have all the tools to do remarkably better than all previous generations are actually doing exceedingly worse! I’ll say it’s a forgone conclusion that with the beyond morbid and actually “diabolical unholy abomination of Abortion” alone, which is now Industrial Scale and still growing especially now that the diabolically operative; Radical “Democrat” Politically Organized Crime Syndicate has taken the helm with the infamous 48 year Professional Career Politically Organized Crime Syndicate Racketeer, The Puppet POTUS Old Scranton Joe Biden; the Devil’s Own, and I dare say “a Man of Perdition in America!” This is the time for such a monster to be a figurehead of the most powerful nation on earth the United States of America the Republic under God which has been the perceived by many “crown jewel” for Satan to possess; and that he has done in spades!  Got so many not imitating virtue; but instead evil!

Getting back to the Abomination of Wholesale Industrial Scale Abortion which is now as simple as getting your toenails clipped, even Full Term Day of Delivery a complete “Human Baby” can be snuffed out like a candle and used for experimental purposes or the more likely scenario organ and tissue harvesting for all kinds of purposes, all of which by the way are Satanically Evil, even such things as Covid Vaccines and the like, actually exceedingly worse than what the Mayans and many Amazonian Ancient Pagan wild people did when they sacrificed human adults and babies to a host of false gods! But they were stupid and totally controlled by fear, ignorance, madness and actual evil spirit’s possession! But today we have young whack job women who after an abortion have a Happy Abortion Party! And look how we have this Bergoglio to me the heretic pope bringing the Pachamama Amazonian Paganism right into the Holy Mass at the Vatican, and now this Bishop Bätzing is pushing to the hilt for “CHANGE.” I see what he is!

Yes these words are absolutely true and coming to fruition before our very eyes; “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).
The End!

God bless you.
Brother in Christ Jesus,
Lawrence Morra III

Vatican Now in Crisis Management Mode with German Bishops
Posted on March 28, 2021 by Catholicism Pure & Simple

NEWS ANALYSIS: Sources say that two senior cardinals wanted to bring the president of the German bishops’ conference to Rome for correction regarding his recent controversial comments, but were overruled by Pope Francis.

Edward Pentin at NCR, March 26, 2021:

VATICAN CITY — In January, two Vatican cardinals wanted to summon the president of the German bishops’ conference to Rome and correct him about a media interview in which he expressed his dissent from Church teaching in a number of areas.

Such a meeting, which some believe should have been used to give the Vatican’s formal opposition to the Synodal Path, never happened and now the German bishops are blazing ahead unfettered, drawing grave concerns of possible schism.

Jesuit Cardinal Luis Ladaria, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and Cardinal Kurt Koch, the Swiss president of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, were concerned about comments Bishop Georg Bätzing made in a lengthy interview with the German publication Herder Korrespondenz published at the end of December.

Vatican sources told the Register that the interview, in which the bishop questioned established Church teaching, was highly revealing of the bishop’s own dissent from the magisterium, leading the two concerned cardinals to want to ask Bishop Bätzing to come to Rome to correct him.

“Santa Marta said ‘No’,” said one of the sources referring to the Pope’s official residence.

The Register has contacted both cardinals and the Holy See Press Office if they could confirm this version of events but has so far received no response.

The Controversial Interview

In the largely overlooked interview, headlined “I Want Change” and published over the New Year, Bishop Bätzing of Limburg began by describing himself as a “good conservative because I love this Church and gladly give my life and energy to it. But I want it to change.”

He then went on to directly challenge the Church’s teaching and tradition regarding women’s ordination to the priesthood, the blessing of same-sex unions, priestly celibacy and Holy Communion for Protestants.

Limiting ordination to men seemed to him “less and less convincing,” he said, adding that “there are well-developed theological arguments in favor of opening the sacramental ministry to women as well.”

“This is why I often mention the diaconate of women, because I see it as a space for action,” he continued. He added that when it comes to opening up priestly ministry to women, every pope, starting with John Paul II, had “unanimously” answered that question by ruling it out. “Nevertheless,” he said, “it is on the table.”

Bishop Bätzing questioned what he saw as the need to “cling to the current conditions of admission” to the priesthood, saying the Church blocks vocations by “ex-culturating” herself.

And on the much-criticized Synodal Path of the Church in Germany, a two-year program to debate issues of power, sexual morality, priestly life and the role of women in the Church in an effort to ostensibly root out abuse, he said he tried to understand Rome’s reservations about it and sensed “strong pressure on how to keep the universal Church united in the presence of such different cultural characteristics.”

Referring to Pope Francis’ 2019 letter to the Church in Germany, in which the Pope supported the Synodal Path but urged its participants to focus on evangelization, Bishop Bätzing said the “blocks of systematic causes of abuse” hinder evangelization and must be “dissolved” first. He also said he disagreed with parts of the Pope’s letter that distinguished the spiritual path from the democratic one, saying he wanted more democracy in the Catholic Church in order to “understand, and not exclude, the opinions of the other.”

On priestly celibacy, he said he believed the discussion had matured and it was no longer a matter of discernment.

“At a certain point, you have to decide,” the Limburg bishop said, adding that the Pope is “not pope in all matters” and that bishops are “part of the government of the universal Church.”

Regarding the blessing of same-sex unions, Bishop Bätzing said there was a need for solutions, that he believed it necessary to find liturgical answers “without Rome’s approval,” and that he believed “we should change the Catechism in this sense” after “intense discussion.”

Lastly, on ecumenical Eucharistic celebrations, he argued that a document called “Together at the Lord’s Table,” drawn up in 2019 by a German group of Protestant and Catholic theologians in favor of “reciprocal Eucharistic hospitality,” was a “wise step forward” despite the Vatican formally rejecting it.

The ecumenical document, Bishop Bätzing said, was not about a “common celebration” of the Eucharist or intercommunion but rather whether Catholics and Protestants who attend each other’s celebration of the Communion “have good reasons for doing so.” He added the “practice has been around for a long time.”

Cardinal Koch’s Concerns

In March 8 comments to the Register, Cardinal Koch said he shared the concerns of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, formally expressed in a four-page critique and letter to Bishop Bätzing last September, which stated that doctrinal differences are “still so weighty” that “mutual participation in the Lord’s Supper or the Eucharist” was not possible.

Cardinal Koch, who sources say is deeply concerned by developments in the German Church like many other senior officials in the Vatican and who has been uncharacteristically direct in resisting the recent developments in Germany, also emphasized that he had made his opposition to the ecumenical group’s document known through interviews and a detailed open letter to the director of the Protestant side of the group.

He pointed out that the Vatican is awaiting the response of the German bishops’ conference to the CDF’s letter “before being able to consider whether and what further steps will be necessary.”

Bishop Bätzing said in the Herder Korrespondenz interview that the bishops’ conference would respond to the CDF’s letter and “confront the counter-arguments,” adding that the letter took him by surprise, failed to “appreciate the ecumenical effort” behind the group, and that he felt it was “somewhat cynical” of the Vatican to say: “No, this is not right, work on it again.”

In a March 1 letter to clergy of his diocese, Bishop Bätzing said that they could give Holy Communion to non-Catholic individuals if they requested it after examining their consciences, but there could be “no general, inter-denominational reception of the Eucharist” or “new forms of Eucharistic celebration.”

In other parts of the Herder Korrespondenz interview, Bishop Bätzing said he was “convinced” we are living in a “time window in which we can really change something,” and that “we have to use it.”

Some German Church leaders believe Bishop Bätzing’s advancement of heterodox arguments is occurring partly because, like many other German bishops, he is influenced by the Central Committee of German Catholics (ZdK), the country’s powerful lay organization that is known for its dissenting ideological views and political ties.

“They have the same thinking, the same line,” said Cardinal Gerhard Müller, Cardinal Ladaria’s German predecessor at the Congregation for the Faith, told the Register on March 22. “Does the ZdK’s leadership believe in the God of the Catholic creed? They only have ideas to justify themselves but they don’t speak of the God who revealed Himself, the Lord of history, of Israel and Jesus Christ.”

Stronger Vatican Action Required?

As opposition to Rome continues, as shown most recently in resistance to the CDF’s statement rejecting the blessing of same-sex unions, Cardinals Ladaria and Koch are not alone in their concerns about the direction of the Church in Germany. Pope Francis has registered his criticism, most notably when he voiced “dramatic concern” about developments last year after having received the German apostolic nuncio in private talks.

But some officials in Rome believe that insufficient steps are being taken to prevent a possible formal schism. They contend it would be a grave error if the plan is to allow the Synodal Path to play out to a conclusion, with the likely endorsement of a broad range of dissenting views on key matters, before the Vatican formally intervenes to correct the dissenting direction of the German Church.

“People are very concerned, nobody is enthusiastic about it,” said one Vatican source. “If the German bishops are going to go through with the Synodal Path, there will be schism, and it would be very bad — and not a good tactic — to allow the bishops to proceed and then, at the end, the Vatican says stop.”

Cardinal Müller said he doesn’t “have great hope” in the Vatican taking action “because they’re unable to understand the gravity of the situation.” He compared it to the early stages of the Reformation when the Roman Curia “didn’t take the right measures” because they were involved in politics which they considered “more important than the religious mission of the Church.”

“Now we have a similar problem in that the Vatican is too diplomatic and political and doesn’t theologically analyze the great danger,” he said, adding that the Vatican is nowadays more concerned “about good relations with governments and the United Nations.”

He and others in Rome have also compared the situation to the time of Martin Luther and Pope Leo X. Too preoccupied by political events, Leo failed to view the Lutheran movement with sufficient seriousness and by the time he did take action, Luther had already gained influential and lasting support.

“Pope Leo had a superficial view and he couldn’t understand Luther,” said Cardinal Müller, who wrote a 2017 book on the history of the popes called Der Papst: Sendung und Auftrag (The Pope: Mission and Mandate). “Leo wasn’t a theologian, he didn’t understand what was happening,” he said.

But Cardinal Müller pointed out a “great difference” between that time and now, namely that the issue then was “the sacraments, the authority of the Successors of the Apostles and St. Peter.” Nowadays, he said, “we’re talking about the Protestantization of the Church, but it’s not the Protestantism of the Reformers, rather it’s the Protestantism of liberal theologians who reduce Christianity” only to “certain moral forms, individual or social.”

Mary meets Jesus on the way to Calvary

All thanks and glory to God Almighty! The message is made clear for all to share and bring closer to their own hearts and share in the agony and ecstasy of Holy Mary the Mother of God Jesus Christ and the Church!

These words I must quote sharpened my own insight tremendously!

“Some new area of the soul is touched that before was virginal to grief. In each dolor it is the Son Who is the executioner, but He always makes His edge the sharper.”

I see in this how when Jesus said, “Who is my mother?” They are my mother.” (Matthew 12:46-50) Yes, if we are to pick up our own crosses and carry them as we follow Christ we are Joining Mary in carrying the cross of Jesus Christ though metaphorically if it is done with genuine humility and sorrow for having our own stain of sin which caused our all loving God to suffer this way carrying all sin and transgression for our sake’s then we should surely offer up ourselves in like manner with all of our love; being then truly worthy to help carry His cross in carrying our own. And as we do this a new area of our souls is touched as we proceed, bringing a brand new dimension to our grief; but also our love for Him!

“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23,

Apostle Paul reminded us, “Whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things.” Philippians 3:7-8

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:40

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

I think the mention of the Mel Gibson film “The Passion of the Christ” is perfect as I too have thought over the years how this imagery is very helpful in perceiving the reality of Christ and His suffering with that crucifixion bringing home how much God loves us but also pointing to our responsibility both in causing His need to be crucified and our appropriate and only gesture of love which is to share in carrying His cross as or with our own; as you explained so beautifully is what Mother Mary did, whom we should hope to emulate even a little if we can! Her suffering and grief is unimaginable to me and I do weep and suffer each Easter when I watch this film; but Mary so full of grace and a Mother’s love of our Savior her Son, must have been experiencing something I can only as you mention scratch the surface of with all my earnest effort!

This is what I recently said regarding this precise matter in another of your fine CP&S articles.
“Peter denied Him a first time but did not shed a tear because the Lord’s gaze did not meet his.” I think for me and perhaps all humans that really care they spend their whole life practically doing what Saint Peter did, denying Jesus, even if we think we don’t because don’t forget Peter was right there living with Jesus and was His first or lead disciple; and he did! But when I watch that true to life depiction of Christ, I shudder and cry with my quilt, as I’m starting to do already again and just with the memory of the film while knowing and seeing my quilt! Oh my God! I’m sorry! Please forgive me for being so wrong and not appreciating every minute you have given me in this fallen world; to come to terms with my sin knowing I don’t deserve you, but yet you love me this much that you wait as long as it takes to call me home, and I follow your call to your heart of hearts! Thank you Jesus! I cry now again; because I see your endless love!”
https://lawrencemorra.com/2021/03/18/the-power-of-tears/

But now I want to say that everything I’ve written here and this article, I do see serving one paramount purpose which is shining so brightly and that is “to help bring upstanding of how important it is for any of us to gain an increased connection to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” “By appreciating how Mother Mary connected to His suffering and agony for us;” in a way we can never come close to doing as she did, but yet “we can gain a fuller appreciation of that suffering” which is essential to the faithful who genuinely with all humility seek to love and appreciate the gift of Salvation; while getting closer to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

CP&S comment. Yesterday, Friday in Passion Week, we celebrated the Seven Sorrows of Our Lady. Today, Saturday, always traditionally dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, let’s concentrate on the pain and anguish of her Immaculate Heart when she met her beloved Son, savagely scourged and crowned with a crown of vicious thorns, as He struggled under her weight of the Cross on His way to Calvary. Could we even scrape the surface of the agony Mary suffered at that moment?

It is also the Fourth Station of the Way of the Cross.

(from Father Z’s blogin 2019)

It is entirely reasonable that if Mary was at the foot of the Cross, then she was also somewhere along the route upon which our bleeding and beaten Savior was flogged and cruelly compelled. It is entirely reasonable that she would have raised her voice and, so, the Lord spotted her…

Eric Talley: A Tribute to the Fallen Boulder Police Officer

Republication by Lawrence Morra III
Zero Lift-Off Only The Beginning
For Informational sharing purposes only here on this platform
March 25, 2021
I offer this Republication as my best effort to help spread the good gestures and prayers for Officer Eric Talley and all of the shooting victims in Boulder Colorado. After reading what his beloved sister Kirsten said I now know I had at least one thing in common with Eric, I too dreamed since childhood of being a professional pilot but through the military and then on into the industry and if I could be extremely lucky and good enough perhaps win a slot in the astronaut program at NASA! But just like Eric my from birth color blindness kept me out of the running as a military pilot. I tried every branch of the Armed Forces but was unable to get a flight program slot only for because of the color blindness yet in all others capacities I passed with “flying colors!”

There is actually a second thing in common that I have with Eric! I rescued a flock of farm ducks that had wandered for miles and were about to try crossing an interstate highway when I happened to drive toward them very early one morning, and when nobody else seemed to be around or care to help I managed to shoo them back away from the highway and keep them calm talking to them. Then being good with animals I gained their confidence to easily capture each one and get them into my vehicle and secured for the drive to my home! From there I had remembered just a few days before reading about a couple in the country that had kind of animal menagerie going of many rescued or abandoned animals and called them to get some advice; and they told me they would be more than happy to give them a home!

So Eric I never met you but I bet we could have talked up a storm if we had the chance; but all I can say now is you’re doing God’s work direct now from right up there in heaven!  Now you do soar like your sister Kirsten said; with the best of the best, all those angels upstairs! Amen.

God bless you and your family!

Brother in Christ Jesus,

Lawrence Morra III

Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley was a father of seven who ran into gunfire while responding to an active shooter call at a Colorado grocery store when he was shot and killed in the nation’s latest mass shooting. He was one of 10 people who were killed at supermarket King Soopers March 22, 2021, authorities said. The shooting suspect was identified as Ahmad Alissa, 21, of Arvada.  Talley, 51, was one of the first officers to arrive on the scene, where he was called with fellow officers shortly before 3 p.m. local time at 3600 Table Mesa Drive. The husband and father had been with the police department since 2010, Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold said during a Wednesday evening press conference. Talley had made headlines during his decade with the department for spearheading a community-based police initiative and for rescuing a family of ducks on the same road where he was fatally shot years later. A survivor of domestic violence wrote a Twitter thread saying Talley saved her life.

Talley joined the Boulder Police Department late in life, his friend and fellow law enforcement officer Jeremy Herko, an Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office, told The Washington Post. Talley had worked in information technology, but decided in 2010 to change careers after the death of a friend in a DUI crash and graduated from the police academy at 40, Herko told the newspaper.

“It was remarkable to me that somebody would go to law enforcement from IT,” Herko told The Post. “He lost pay. He lost time away from his family. He joined the police academy without a guaranteed job.”

Here’s what you need to know about the life and death of Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley:

Talley Was a Father of 7 Who Was Training to Get Off the Front Lines So He Would Not Leave His Children Fatherless & He Was Remembered For His Heroic Actions

Talley had seven children, and the youngest was only 7 years old, his dad, Homer Talley, said in a statement published by The Denver Channel. He became a police officer when he was 40 and was training to change roles within the department to not be on the front lines.

“He took his job as a police officer very seriously. He had seven children. The youngest is 7 years old. He loved his kids and his family more than anything,” his dad said. “He joined the police force when he was 40 years old. He was looking for a job to keep himself off of the front lines and was learning to be a drone operator. He didn’t want to put his family through something like this and he believed in Jesus Christ.”

Homer Talley told KDVR, “He was a man of heart who loved his job.” His children range in age from 7 to 20. Homer Talley told the news station the fallen officer’s wife is “a rock.” Donations to help Talley’s family can be made to the Boulder County Injured & Fallen Officers Fund.

Talley was one of the first officers to arrive on the scene at King Soopers in Boulder, Colorado, and encountered the suspect, who was armed with a high-powered rifle, officials said.

Boulder Police Officers used Talley’s handcuffs when they formally arrested Alissa following his hospital stay.

“This week several Boulder Police officers & others responded to a local hospital to formally place Monday’s shooting suspect into custody. As they did, officers informed him the handcuffs used that day were those of Officer Eric Talley. The suspect was then taken to jail,” the Boulder Police Department wrote on Twitter. “It was our distinct honor to use Officer Talley’s handcuffs to formally process him into the jail. Though this was a small gesture, we hope it is the start of the healing process that so many of us need at this time. Officer Talley’s handcuffs are seen here.”

An emotional Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold said during a press conference Wednesday night:

Our hearts of this community go out to the victims of this horrific incident. We know of 10 fatalities at the scene, including one of our Boulder PD officers by the name of Eric Talley. He’s been on the Boulder Police Department since 2010. He’s served in numerous roles supporting Boulder Police Department and the community of Boulder. And I have to tell you, the heroic action of this officer when he responded to this scene. At 14:30 hours the Boulder Police Department began receiving phone calls of shots fired in the area. And a phone call about a possible person with a patrol rifle. Officer Talley responded to the scene, was the first on the scene and he was fatally shot. I also want to commend the heroic actions of the officers responding, not only from Boulder PD, but from across the county and other parts of this region. Police officers actions fell nothing short of being heroic. I also want to thank the men and women who responded, including state, local and federal authorities.

GettyLaw enforcement personnel salutes as the motorcade carrying fallen Boulder Police officer Eric Talley exits the King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado on March 22, 2021 after a mass shooting.

She said it’s a “complex investigation” that will take “no less than five days to complete.” Herold, holding back tears, said, “Again, my heart goes out to the victims of this incident. And I’m grateful for the police officers who responded and I am so sorry about the loss of Officer Talley.”

Joe Gamaldi National Vice President of the Fraternal Order of Police, spoke about Talley’s heroism in a statement.

“Boulder Officer [Eric Talley] has lost his life running towards the gunfire of an active shooter. No words can adequately capture the heroism exhibited. Keep him in your prayers,” he said. “Police Officers don’t ‘deserve’ your respect, because no one ‘deserves’ anything, but we da*n sure earn it everyday!”

Boulder Police Department Commander Kerry Yamaguchi confirmed a Boulder Police Officer was killed during an earlier Monday evening press conference, and requested privacy for the family and fellow officers.

He said there was “loss of life” and added, “I am sorry to have to report that one of them was a Boulder police officer.”

Yamaguchi did not release the officer’s name at the time, or any information about how the officer was killed. He said that officers arrived “within minutes of the initial 911 calls and entered the building very quickly.”

GettyBoulder County District Attorney Michael Dougherty takes a moment to himself before addressing the media after a gunman opened fire at a King Sooper’s grocery store on March 22, 2021 in Boulder, Colorado.

He added Boulder Police received “tremendous support” from local and federal agencies.

“Without that quick response, we don’t know if there would have been more loss of life,” he said.

A witness described his thoughts to Fox 31, saying he was in shock and called his mom to say he was OK. That’s when the gravity of the situation sunk in, he said.

“The fact that it’s happening all over America, seeing it on the news, [it’s] something I’ve grown up with, people my age, my generation are used to this. And it’s something I never thought would happen in my town,” he said.

The Boulder Office of Emergency Management issued a list of resources for the community and ways to help the families of the victims.

Boulder City Council is holding a special meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2021 to honor the victims and “acknowledge the need for community healing.” The meeting can also be viewed through livestream and on YouTube.

Talley’s Sister Says He Wanted to Be a Pilot & Wrote in a Tribute, ‘I Cannot Explain How Beautiful He Was & What a Devastating Loss This Is To So Many’

Talley was born in Houston, Texas, graduated from Highland High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1988, according to a post on the school’s alumni Facebook page from a classmate. He had a master’s degree related to IT before becoming an officer.

Homer Talley, the officer’s father, told 9News it, “Didn’t surprise me he was the first one there.” His father told the Colorado news station, “He had a great sense of humor, he was a prankster. He loved his family more than anything.” The slain officer’s sister, Kirstin, paid tribute to him on Twitter, writing, “Officer Eric Talley is my big brother. He died today in the Boulder shooting. My heart is broken. I cannot explain how beautiful he was and what a devastating loss this is to so many. Fly high my sweet brother. You always wanted to be a pilot (damn color blindness). Soar.”

A longtime friend of Talley described him as a husband, father and devout Christian in a post on Facebook. Jeremy Herko wrote he and Talley attended the police academy together. They were talking earlier that day, he wrote.

“I cannot describe the level of devastation I feel right now,” he wrote. “My heart is heavy. So many things I would do differently.”

GettyLaw enforcement personnel salutes as the motorcade carrying fallen Boulder Police officer Eric Talley exits the King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado on March 22, 2021 after a mass shooting.

“The person I was calling and messaging earlier, one of my best friends, died today in Boulder,” he continued. “He was the police officer killed. Eric Talley is his name, and he was a devout Christian, he had to buy a 15 passenger van to haul his kids around, and he was the nicest guy in the world. I’ve known him since we went to the academy together, and we talked all the time. Please keep his wife and kids in your thoughts.”

Herko told The Post he met Talley in 2010 at the Community College of Aurora’s Police Training Academy. “He is drawn to people, and people are drawn to him. It’s easy to be drawn to a guy like that. I was fortunate that he liked me as well. He was pretty driven to join law enforcement,” Herko told The Post.

Several Boulder residents who encountered Talley during his 10-year career working in the city shared experiences with him, remembering him as a dedicated and caring officer who went above and beyond everyday. One woman wrote on Twitter, “In 2013 I called 911 when my abusive HS/college ex boyfriend showed up uninvited pounding on my door threatening me outside my apartment in Boulder. One of the officers to respond & help that night was Officer Eric Talley. He stayed with me throughout the entire ordeal, calmed me down & said he was just at the right place at the right time. While the other officers were outside reading my abuser his rights, Officer Talley was kind enough to stay with me until a friend could come get me.”

The woman added, “He gave me his personal card, ‘call me if the coward decides to show his face again.’ To this day I credit Officer Talley for saving my life. I still have his card. Thank you for being my hero that night & thank you for being a hero to everyone in King Soopers today. I am absolutely heartbroken to hear yet another shooting has occurred. RIP Eric Talley & the other victims of today’s shooting. This is becoming far too frequent of a headline America.”

A fellow officer wrote in a tribute on Facebook:

Talley-Man, I’m at a loss of words and don’t quite know how to say goodbye. You were a great officer and such an incredible person! I will cherish our memories and all the great times we had together in District 5. I will miss hearing our locker room banter of the Talley-Man/Sassy-Pants Show. To hear you died a hero is not surprising to me. Knowing you would lay your life down for others is the perfect way to describe your character. Fly high, you Drone Team geek. Eric Talley: A hero remembered, never dies.

Retired Boulder police sergeant Lauri Wegscheider wrote on Facebook, “My heart is more than broken. Officer Eric Talley was one of the smartest people I know. He was caring, compassionate and kooky with a heart of gold. He always had my back and we were more than just coworkers. He was my friend!! He adored his children and family. I am so so sorry to all my Boulder PD brothers and sisters. Mtn Dew my friend, all you can drink!”

Edwin Hurwitz, a Boulder attorney, said he met Talley when he was in law school. Hurwitz wrote on Facebook:

I just found out that the officer who was killed was Officer Eric Talley. When I was in law school, in the criminal law clinic, we had to do a police ride along and I was paired with him and we spent a Saturday night riding around Boulder. I had just transitioned from my music career and was getting used to the idea of my new one as a lawyer and he had just transitioned from his career and had been an officer for less than a year. That ride changed my view of cops. He was outgoing, thoughtful, and interested in the safety of the community. Given that defense attorneys and cops are kind of at odds by the nature of our jobs, I left that night feeling that we had made a connection and bridged the institutional distance between the conflict that comes up on both sides.

Former Boulder Police officer Andreas Reimann wrote on Facebook, “I really don’t know what to say, Eric Talley was the definition of a kind and warm hearted person. He wasn’t a stereotypical cop, he was goofy, nerdy, kind, funny, and always wanting to help whenever he could. He helped and covered me on more calls than I can count. It always made me smile after I left Boulder that he would regularly ask about me and how I was doing, and pass along messages that he missed me at BPD.”

Reimann added, “Like most heroes Eric would probably hate that label, but anyone who runs towards the sound of gunfire when other people run away is the definition of a hero in my book, and someone who I am proud to have worked beside. Rest well friend.”

Talley Presented a Community Policing Initiative to His Department So Officers Would Serve as Familiar Faces in Neighborhoods

Talley brought an initiative to the police department with community-based policing, the Martin Acres Voice wrote in 2015. The initiative was geared toward officers becoming a familiar face in their communities. The newsletter described community policing as a return to traditional policing before the days of police cars, when officers lived among the neighbors they policed and “walked a ‘beat.’”

Talley and two other officers presented the initiative during a conference at the time, which involved dividing the city into 35 districts and assigning an officer to each of those districts. The officer in each district was assigned to monitor the neighborhoods, serve as “a familiar face” and become familiar with the details of their districts. Martin Acres was a part of Talley’s district, the newsletter said.

“If you see him, say hello!” the newsletter said. “Officer Talley is working on getting to know our neighborhood, what’s normal, what is out of place, tracking trends, suspicious activity and, hopefully, enabling a safer environment.”

It went on to say, “Officer Talley says he hopes to empower us to be more vigilant neighbors, with direct access to the police department, and to give the police department a clearer picture of the community and our needs.”

Witnesses told the Denver Post about touching moments amid the tragedy of a mass shooting that left 10 people dead. James Bentz, 57, told the Denver Post he found himself “at the front of a stampede” as people rushed to the back of the grocery store. He jumped off a loading dock to escape, he said. Younger people helped older people down from the platform, he said.

“It seemed like all of us had imagined we’d be in a situation like this at some point in our lives,” he said.

He was in the meat section when he heard a gunshot. He thought it was a misfire until he heard more gunshots. Then, everyone started running, he said.

Neven Sloan and his wife, Quinlyn Sloan, told the newspaper they had split up in the grocery store when shots were fired. She was in the dairy section, and he was in produce. They ran to find each other, then escaped together.

Neven Sloan said the shots “were muffled at first and then I heard it echo in the store and I knew we needed to get out.”

Quinlyn Sloan told the newspaper she didn’t know what she was hearing at the time of the first gunshot, but then “people started running. A few stood still like they didn’t know what was happening. Then [the shooting] went rapidly.”

Neven Sloan said once he knew his wife was safely outside, “I felt an impulse to go back,” and ran back inside to help others.

Talley Was Recognized in 2013 for Rescuing a Family of Ducks From a Drainage Ditch Near the Grocery Store Where He Was Fatally Shot

Talley was among three officers who were recognized by the Boulder Daily Camera for rescuing 11 ducklings and their mother from a drainage ditch in 2013. The drainage ditch was in the area of Table Mesa and Broadway, very close to the location where Talley would be gunned down eight years later.

One of the other responding officers on the duck rescue attempted to coax the ducks and scoop them to safety with a net. When that didn’t work, Talley took the plunge to wade into the water and round up the ducks so he and the other officers could save every member of the duck family, the article said.

“He was drenched after this,” said Jack Walker, who was the Boulder Police Sergeant at the time. “They would go into these little pipes and he would have to try and fish them out.”

When the duck family was reunited, “they were thrilled,” Walker said of the ducklings.

A group of about 30 to 35 people gathered to watch the rescue, and recorded it on their phones, he said.

“They were thrilled to see us doing this,” he said.

The entire rescue operation took about an hour.

“This was my first duck rescue,” Walker said. “But I’m an animal lover, so for me it was easy to do.”

Conor McCue, a witness to the grocery store shooting, told CBS4 it took a moment to realize what was happening after he heard gunshots.

“Heard a loud bang… thought someone dropped something. Then by the third bang everyone was running,” he told the news outlet.

When police arrived, he said they were shouting at a suspect either in the car or inside the store. “Surrender now!” he said he heard them saying.

A family was waiting in line for COVID-19 vaccinations when a woman was shot in front of them, the father of one of the family members told CBS4. They family ran away and found a closet upstairs, where they hid for an hour, he told the news station. He was communicating with his daughter while they hid. The father advocated for gun control to the news outlet.

“When it’s your family, you feel it,” he said.

Victims who were still inside the grocery store when police arrived were led outside by officers.

About 100 First Responder Vehicles Escorted Talley’s Body Following the Mass Shooting & Local Lawmakers Expressed Their Sympathy to Law Enforcement & Said Police Officers Were in Their Prayers

The Boulder Police Department shared a brief and touching tribute to Talley on Twitter as lawmakers and other officials expressed their condolences and pledged to fight for justice.

“Rest In peace Officer Eric Talley. Your service will never be forgotten,” the police department wrote.

About 100 first responder vehicles gathered to escort the body of the fallen Boulder police officer in the hours after the shooting, reporter Kyle Clark of 9News wrote on Twitter.

“Approximately 100 first responders’ vehicles are prepared for a procession to escort the body of the Boulder Police Officer who was among those killed in today’s supermarket shooting,” he wrote.

He shared a video of the procession as a sea of red and blue lights silently escorted the officer.

The City of Boulder shared an image on Twitter which was retweeted by the Boulder Police Department.

“Our hearts are broken. Lives were taken today, including one of our brave @boulderpolice officers,” the tweet said.

The image was a landscape overlaid with text.

“This is a tragic day in Boulder,” it said. “Our hearts are broken from the lives lost. Our thoughts are with the victims, their families and all.”

Videos emerged on social media soon after the shooting, which showed a man being led to a stretcher in handcuffs. It was not immediately clear whether the man was the shooting suspect, but it appeared that police were taking the man into custody. He had blood on one of his legs, the video shows.

“It was quite a chaotic situation,” a FOX DC reporter said on the air, referencing reports from witnesses. “There were two medical helicopters on the scene.”

The reporter spoke over live images taken from a helicopter and described what he was seeing: “a man who was escorted by police in handcuffs loaded onto a stretcher and being taken from the scene.”

A graphic and dramatic video captured the active shooter scene at the Colorado grocery store, beginning just seconds after the first shots rang out. The video shows injured and possibly deceased people inside and outside the store.

“Get 911 right here,” says the man filming. “We’ve got injured parties on the ground. We don’t know. There’s a shooter, active shooter somewhere. Could be in the store. He went in the store. Oh my God. Guys we’ve got people down in King Soopers.”

He walks into the entrance of the store from its ramp, and a person in a store uniform says the shooter is still inside. Three people appear to be lifeless in the video. One is on a ramp leading into the store, another is in the parking lot, and a third is inside the store near a checkout counter.

Two gunshots can be heard on the video soon after the man goes inside to film.

He saw three victims himself, and watched officers arrive as shots continued to ring out. He estimated that the shooting lasted for 10 minutes before subsiding.

“I wouldn’t have believed it had I not seen it and heard it myself,” he said.

“My heart was pumping so hard,” he said.

He said he had friends “as close as family” inside. He lives across the street from the grocery store, he said.

St Peter’s Basilica, Like a Museum Without Holy Masses in Side Altars

A Foreboding Sign
Another sign of the times folks; just like the many ugly sinful and ridiculous things going on every minute of every day! Don’t get me wrong, there’s still so much good to be thankful for because if there wasn’t and this was all passé God would, as a metaphor here, just shovel this whole thing up and toss it into the lake of fire.

But now to put this in proper perspective and just say it like it is; this action is a clear sign that what many have said in recent years and I’m one of them; how Bergoglio has clearly strayed from the tenets of the Church and Holy Scriptures in many regards to this act against it, because we can say that Bergoglio got “Woke” along with many in the Church hierarchy apparently, and joined the huge push this past year to bring on NWO; which is all the obvious precursor to bringing the Antichrist out into the open to be the ruler of this out of control madhouse of a world!

This is all so way beyond secularist and is now in your face blatant diabolical action by the minions of hell itself! Even if the Church hierarchy would try to justify his action by saying the Latin Mass is outdated and out of touch with the public or faithful that would be a lie. It would be and is a lie because as I’ve stated before this Mass TLM brings the participating parishioners into a great awareness of the Holy Spirit coming into the Mass instilling the inner joy of knowing that the Father and Jesus are there over the Church joining the faithful bringing a great blessing! I’ve been brought to tears in the Latin Mass of a great joy that I never feel and experience in any other setting or even any other Mass. So that is supposed to be outdated and out of touch? Hog wash, and a LIE! If there wasn’t an evil conspiracy afoot then why would they have pushed it aside this way and instead at least say we can offer both Latin and the New more “protestant secular version” alternately through the day! To dismiss the Latin Mass outright is an obvious affront to the Church, the faithful and most assuredly Our Father in Heaven with Jesus!

“This may seem a small matter, especially during the COVID lockdowns, when there are few pilgrims entering St. Peter’s anyway.” Let me add here; this was timed this way to take advantage of the disarray of the Church and world at this time because of the PSYOP Hoax Plan-Demic that is all meant to derail many layers of society and especially the Church and Holy Eucharist being administered to the faithful and in the Traditional way! Clearly; all work of the Devil and his minions to, as I said; pave the way for the arrival of the Antichrist.

Even before I read what St. John Henry Newman had said about the subject or knew these previous sentiments, this is what I meant about the absolute feeling and awareness of the mystical presence of God participating in the Latin Mass!
“I call as witness the ever-prescient John Henry (now Saint) Newman who wrote more than a century and a half ago about the feeling in a “great cathedral,” and I want to condense what he continued to say what to me is the very essence of how important all of this is when he continued by saying, “– altar after altar lit up for worship, like stars in the firmament – or the bell giving notice of what is going on in parts you do not see, and all the while the canons in the choir going through matins and lauds, and at the end of it the incense rolling up from the high altar, and all this in one of the most wonderful buildings in the world and every day – lastly, all of this without any show or effort – but what everyone is used to – everyone at his own work, and leaving everyone else to his. (Letter, September 24, 1846)

In recent commentary here is what I had to say about this matter.
“I know that my soul has been very moved and inspired when I partake in the Full Latin Mass; as I know from experience Jesus is there and I feel His Holy Spirit coming down from heaven with the Father to join us in the Mass, blessing those who are participating in this most Divine inspired true way of expressing our devotional love for our Lord Savior Jesus and the Father in heaven! I’ve had many tears in this traditional Mass at times and they are always tears of sweet joy that are coming to me from the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, because the Lord really touching my soul at that time most intimately and acknowledging His presence and love for me, as in no other setting can this occur to this degree; which nothing on earth can compare to this realization that my God is with me and will not abandon those who believe/worship Him in this way! Amen.”

“And so far as his argument that the world had changed I totally disagree because it’s the people that have changed, and, God and Jesus are the same always so our communing with them in Holy Mass remains static, or plainly our souls are just that which we truly are; not our exteriors of body/flesh or daily life on earth; and therefore that is what we want to awaken to the mystical power of the Holy Spirit the focusing of our inner souls to the mystical presence of God and be totally receptive to Jesus Christ and through Him the Father to grow our deep heart felt faith not alter appearances or procedures as this New Age approach is planning to do! In this case especially in life, less is more; that which is not contrived or noisy but simple and peaceful coming from our core is all we need to bring to the ceremonial alter of the Mass!”

God bless you.

CP&S commentThe sudden order last week cancelling all celebrations of the Traditional Latin Mass in St Peter’s Basilica has caused a shockwave of both sadness and indignation throughout the Catholic world, and whose repercussions we are still hearing. Dr. Robert Royal wrote on ‘The Catholic Thing’ a few days ago about:

“[…] the strange decision to prohibit Masses being said in St. Peter’s on side altars, often on the spur of the moment, in various languages; and to restrict everyone attending Mass in the Basilica to the few central services offered only in Italian and Latin.

The St Joseph’s side altar, Saint Peter’s Basilica

This may seem a small matter, especially during the COVID lockdowns, when there are few pilgrims entering St. Peter’s anyway. But this was not an order issued in response to the potential dangers from the virus at side-altar Masses, nor does it…

Officer Eric Talley, RIP

God bless the soul of Eric Talley!
I really feel in my heart more that heaven awaits for those that are good and forgiven when I see something so tragic like this happen; just like any innocent life being extinguished in any evil act of random violence! I just know that Heaven waits, because to me that is the only thing that can make any sense of such horrific stupid waste of life and a good beautiful future for this man and all the others who were slain.  In other words they are all so much better off than all of us now, because they are with God and Jesus in heaven; I feel it and know we are the one’s hurting and suffering having to carry on in this almost God forsaken horribly sinful evil world we now have! I see not just this tragedy today but the countless one’s happening right now that won’t get a shred of news coverage or any attention!  Horrific acts of violence and hate are being carried out by the hour and even the minute in this fallen world that the Prince of Darkness rules for a time! So let’s keep in mind that God’s Mercy is greater than His judgment and that His endless love and Mercy are providing eternal peace and happiness that none of us has experienced yet; but Officer Talley and the other individuals all are, so they are fine!

Yes, you are correct about CNN, they will politicize to no end just like all of the other minions of the left, globalist, NWO, antichrist agenda minions that get so much attention these days!  As a matter of fact the wicked fraud Puppet POTUS Joe Biden has already started by jumping on the old Dem strategy and talking point of banning any rifles that look intimidating or have magazines, or even guns period, they try to disarm good law abiding citizens; while playing how they are looking to solve a problem that gets so much press, but in fact they are the ones causing more death and ruin all around like they did with being a huge part of the Plan-Demic along with wasting four years while creating so much divisiveness making up a false Russian Collusion Hit Job to take down Trump a coup d’état of a duly elected President, which Biden and Harris are not; at any cost even committing acts of treason which none of them are being held accountable for any of their major crimes; yet these dirty criminal politicians get on a soap box and preach how they will fix a problem when “they are the problem” and just plain hypocrites!  It’s worse than the pot calling the kettle black here folks; it’s like the Devil coming along and saying any one of us is a horrible sinner; so I say what does that make him for all the evil he has done throughout time!

This same evil will again proceed with blaming the weapons when in fact the problem is something entirely different; which is the people are sick, twisted, evil or even programmed that do these things, very nefarious forces at work, I dare say even demonic possession; so no law abiding good citizen should be penalized because of that!  It would be nice to see “The Whole Truth and Nothing But the Truth Prevail” and show the world exactly what is happening, and stop all of this three ring circus propaganda that has been going on 24/7 365 days a year that we decent citizens have to wade through daily to find a bit of the TRUTH! I really do hate the MSM and I worked in it at one time and though it was bad then, I had reason to be disgusted, but now I do loath it; it’s part of the ugly underbelly of evil in this world, and the stars in it make so many millions, which says a lot about what that industry is really about!  HIDEOUS!  Mostly lies and propaganda! This is a demented ugly world and getting worse all of the time. This could even be an orchestrated act to facilitate the NWO agenda of Totalitarian CONTROL!  That will bring on the Antichrist!

God bless you all.
We need Jesus now so badly! Amen.
Lawrence Morra III

God Bless the Souls of All those who lost their lives in this tragic mass shooting.  Blessings to all their families, I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Before CNN starts politicizing the horrific and senseless slaughter of the 10 people gunned down by a mass shooter at a Boulder, Colorado, supermarket Monday afternoon, let’s remember to pray for this hero cop, Eric Talley, who was killed doing what good cops do: trying to save the lives of others.

Talley was a veteran cop, a traditional Latin Mass Catholic and father of seven children. By all accounts, he represented the very best of our country and the men and women on the front lines of a chaotic culture war that can only get worse so long as we as a nation refuse to turn back to God.

There are simply not enough good cops like Officer Talley to protect us from ourselves once we decide that God’s law no longer matters.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest…

A Letter by Fr Cipolla in Response to Bp. Barron’s Criticism of Traditionalism

Psalm 42, “I will go in to the Altar of God, to God who giveth joy to my youth.”

“Reverence, humility and awe.” This one line pinpoints the massive loss within the Church that’s taken place; in this very well written explanation of what has happened to the Holy Catholic Mass since the Second Vatican Council concluded setting in motion the ever so methodical decline of the Catholic Church. It’s taken roughly a half century to hollow out this body leaving a dry hush or nearly empty shell of what once was the true sanctuary and a Holy Place for the faithful to be in the presence of the mystical and Godliness of the Almighty through Jesus Christ. I think of it as a kind of experience that nothing compares to and one which gives those who believe a true sense of being visited and in the Holy Spiritual presence of God; perhaps a sense of what it was like for Moses and other Holy men of God, what the prophets must have felt when God spoke to them directly. But this mystical aspect of the Church is the religious experience we strive for when we attend Mass if genuinely sincere in our humility and love of God.

When you dilute or water down anything you continue to move away from the original; be it a substance, object or a Church; and this dilution process further separates you from the genuine or the original article which in this case is God the Father through Jesus Christ. To me it’s simple as to what is happening and why. Who or what would benefit the most from this distortion and separation of the Truth; but obviously the Devil.

I just read today that the entire Jesuit Georgetown University basketball team took a knee before their game against Colorado in the 2021 NCAA Tournament Saturday playoff.  This frenzied March madness or rebellion is in all walks of life now, disturbing and even attacking all that is “tried and tested” out of sheer defiance in many cases, just to rebel for the sake of saying “it’s my right!” Such an arrogant people this modern in your face generation has become with so little to no respect for the great things and unsung heroes of the past or all those that made possible what freedoms and good we take for granted, but I guess this Catholic University got Woke like BLM the leftist radical group and so many others lately! But anyway, the Hoyas or Georgetown team went on to lose the playoff game; and won’t be advancing! I think of this as an example of defiance that throws all caution and sensibility or even common respect for those who suffered and died so we might live, is morphing into this prideful disobedience toward all that is good about America, but, more importantly toward God Almighty!

What these people need is a major taste of reality, a mountainous dose to shock them into wiping that arrogant self-serving rotten attitude out of their minds and hearts; all of which is part of a game they play, let alone basketball. They don’t realize they are playing with fire metaphorically speaking; but nonetheless it will consume them!

This causes me to recall what I said in response to another fine article in which Kathleen made some very heartfelt comments about this very subject which I should share again here, that inspired this long commentary of mine. “I’m so thankful you came along with this article and presented it as you have because in your closing statement in the article as you state clearly, “It is so sad the post Vatican Two destroyers did away with it… although apparently it was never formally abrogated.”
This is so true how much has been altered in the Church to divert and gradually lead astray the faithful incrementally over time; this is the great apostasy and falling away from the faith that was prophesied would happen before the End Time.

“And indeed with so many of the still devout outstanding members of the clergy like Archbishop Vigano, Bishop Schneider and Father Z being a few of these truly devoted to the mission of the Church in following and adhering to all of the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, we see how it is sad how Vatican Two did set in motion the plan of destruction that has taken root thoroughly throughout the Church and society; twisting and perverting many of the original teachings that Jesus left us with to the point where we now have a deceptive man and heretic Bergoglio, promoting falsehoods and even blaspheming God Almighty with his allowing sacrilegious infiltration’s into the very heart and sanctity of Church at the Vatican as he is leading so many of the clergy down a path of destruction!”

I recently wrote these following statements about the Latin Mass which again this is worthy of considering here.

“In His Presence”
Yes this does indeed encapsulate the fact of the true Catholic faith still alive and well with the ever present heartbeat that grows stronger each passing day, and I quote; “The new pulse beating within the Church: the strong and joyful beat of traditional Catholicism. Instead of considering it his enemy, he should recognize it as the fulfillment of what he’s been striving for all along.”

Something I wrote recently in response to your article here on CP&S regarding what Archbishop Arthur Roche had to say about his matter in his “the world has changed,” so it’s time to move-on attitude, which was another putdown, or more like saying “out with the old and in with the new” mantra; I see how what I said dovetails perfectly here today!

Amen.”

Those are my absolutely certain truthful observations and deepest feelings in this regard! And I should share what else I had to say just prior to what you read here to make it clear how certain I am about this. It is very sad to me how all of these big time sports heroes or government leaders and other highly visible public figures don’t see or feel any of this I speak about here today; if they did they surely wouldn’t have the crass and aloof attitudes they do and would quickly have a change of heart.

God bless all of you! And may you be quite certain too what the Traditional Catholicism with its Latin Mass can provide for you in your faith; if you too haven’t already discovered this truth! Amen.

Dear Bishop Barron:

I have written many Letters to the Editor in my lifetime to the New York Times and to the Wall Street Journal—bona fide credentials of my moderate and centrist persona—and now I feel compelled to write this letter to you to respond to your recent article called “The Evangelical Path of Word on Fire”. I am a Catholic priest, soon to be an octogenarian. It would seem more prudent at this time in my life to lay aside those things that threaten the peace and equanimity that one should strive for at this stage of my life. But alas, my Southern Italian genetic makeup does not make it easy to live a laid- back life at this time when I should give oneself over to contemplation and remembrance of things past.

I have followed your career in the Church for some years now, with a…

The Power of Tears

I’m starting to cry just thinking of what I’m about to say! For years now I watch the Mel Gibson film “The Passion of The Christ” which even Saint John Paul the II said at the time of its release, “that is how it was,” and I know for a fact it’s true, because God chose Mel to make that film when he did! And every Easter I watch it alone which makes me cry or actually weep like a child throughout the entire film, I just got a woozy stomach and started to tear saying this here to you.

But when I watch that true to life depiction of Christ, I shudder and cry with my guilt, as I’m starting to do already again and just with the memory of the film while knowing and seeing my guilt! Oh my God!
I cry now again; because I see your endless love!
God bless. Amen.

A meditation by St Ambrose of Milan

The Penitent Saint Peter – Guido Reni

Peter became saddened and cried because he erred like all men. I cannot find what he said; I find only that he cried. I read his tears; I do not read what he gave in recompense. But what cannot be excused, can be cleansed.

Tears speak of the offence without horrifying. Tears recignise the sin without causing one to blush. Tears do not ask forgiveness, but they merit it. I discovered why Peter remained silent, so that asking for forgiveness so quickly he would not further increase his guilt.

First we must cry, then we must pray; excellent tears so that they cleanse the guilt. Indeed, those who see Christ’s gaze begin to cry. Peter denied Him a first time but did not shed a tear because the Lord’s gaze did not meet his. He denied…

Saint Patrick, pray for us!

Yes Saint Patrick you pray for us! This world has become such a convoluted and so different a realm than the earthly world you lived upon when in it; a very strange place now with all of this technology seeming to give power to humans, but their hearts grow cold and their words that they speak to one another are hollow too often; in this self-serving tumultuous worsening nightmare. The world was back then a sinful and at times brutal place when you were here; but now the brutality and sins are exponentially greater, because though people see well enough and know better, while having so much convenience with opportunity to do good; they allow the cold indifference of the system to rule their actions and even their hearts. They truly more often than not, lack what these words which describe you, tell us about who you were and how you lived for God!

“Patrick was a humble, pious, gentle man, whose love and total devotion to and trust in God should be a shining example to each of us. So complete was his trust in God, and of the importance of his mission, he feared nothing -not even death.”
We should all try our best to do so well; to follow your example and truly serve God’s will in this world without hesitation; being fully committed to our Lord who is in heaven; and not let this world get us down or break our spirit!

Saint Patrick, you who lived in a harsh uncomfortable reality, yet remained humble and so willing to serve God in heaven; while today most people have so much in the way of creature comforts with a myriad of pleasures, but they don’t look to serve God; because they love serving themselves being caught up in the murky mire of deceptions they embrace.

Pray for us, as we now enter, I do believe the darkest of ages on earth; where hope will not exist for multitudes! We need the prayers of all the Saints as we seek the will of the Father through our Savior Jesus Christ, who tells us to follow Him, that He leads us by our right hands!

Isaiah 41:13 “For I am the LORD your God, who takes hold of your right hand and tells you: Do not fear, I will help you.”
Amen.
God bless!

Image of St. Patrick

St. Patrick of Ireland is one of the world’s most popular saints. He was born in Roman Britain and when he was fourteen or so, he was captured by Irish pirates during a raiding party and taken to Ireland as a slave to herd and tend sheep. At the time, Ireland was a land of Druids and pagans but Patrick turned to God and wrote his memoir,The Confession. InThe Confession, he wrote:

“The love of God and his fear grew in me more and more, as did the faith, and my soul was rosed, so that, in a single day, I have said as many as a hundred prayers and in the night, nearly the same. I prayed in the woods and on the mountain, even before dawn. I felt no hurt from the snow or ice or rain.”

Patrick’s captivity lasted until he was twenty…

We must not capitulate before this world, but recapitulate all things in Christ

…masquerading as the “anointed one”

I must quote this as an opening to my disgust!

“I believe that the ideas that direct his actions cannot be analysed and interpreted in a satisfactory way, if we limit ourselves to traditional theological criteria. He is not only beyond any known system, he is above them all!”

No, no “contrario” he is BELOW them all; so far below that he is sitting with Satan in the pits of hell!  You speak foolishly about this man and his agenda with the world; God and Jesus are unchanging and TRUE forever! The world is ever-changing and now these minions of hell look to change the “Church” the “Will of God” and in turn REJECT “Jesus Christ” in the process!  Who do they think they are; to transgress God and his Plan!

Jesus told us not to love the things of this world or its ways, but to be praying vigilantly to be taken away from this fallen world of sin, which is everywhere now in this Modern New Age, New World Order; FRAUD! Bergoglio loves to play with the worldly ways and thinks himself a conquistador “he who conquers,” and great leader, when he is nothing but a FRAUD, just like the Puppet POTUS he so readily supports; who pushes Full Term Day of Delivery Abortion with the evil Democrat Party! This Bergoglio is shackled with unbreakable chains to Biden and Satan; now and forever!

People should face reality that we are all going to die and be nothing but maggot rot and fodder for Satan’s Furnace in Hell!!! Unless; we turn to Jesus Christ on bent-knee begging for forgiveness as we repent and in our genuine sorrow with sincere humility He the ever living God will forgive, redeem and “SAVE” us from that eternal damnation that waits!

“Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Philippians 2:12

All people should be shaking in their boots by the sheer fact of what we see going on in the sick, perverted and damned world; where there is NO HOPE outside of “Jesus Christ” and His Glorious Salvation! Cut the rhetoric and BS before it’s too late!  Man, Science, the Occult, Wishing Upon a Star or anything else in this world can bring you to “everlasting life and peace; but only Jesus Christ!” You decide for yourself what your end will be! Fodder in Hell or a Child of God’s in His Kingdom!

Bergoglio is a renegade for the Devil!  He will burn in hell for eternity for his transgression against God Almighty! I just recently had this to say about his escapades: This man Bergoglio continues his ways; From his blasphemous actions of bringing Pachamama human sacrificial pagan belief relics with all of their bloodstained history of debauchery right into the Holy Sanctuary of the Holy Church, a sort of pseudo Amazonian and Christian worship, to now his continuous coddling and “capitulation” with a complete and absolute proven enemy of the Church and Jesus Christ; Islam.  That from its basis of a political ideology that Mohammad declared in 632 A.D. that all of Christendom and Judaism are in complete opposition to Islam and must be destroyed; so apparently this heretic Pope is hell-bent on proclaiming some new multi-blend one world religion which is totally blaspheming God Almighty with all of this heresy and NWO contrivance, that has nothing to do with Jesus Christ and the world’s salvation; but rather its demise! We’re obviously talking about the flat-out work of the Devil here.

Isaiah 5:20 “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.” Edmund Burke

Reading these words of wisdom above I see how Bergoglio doesn’t just do nothing, but actually cheers evil on just like Biden America’s Man of Perdition, rotting with evil throughout his body and soul this “Installed Puppet POTUS” not elected fairly; and then Bergoglio joins evil for a banquet!  Way of The World!

“That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but {o} had pleasure in unrighteousness. (o) They liked lies so much that they had pleasure in them, which is the greatest madness that may exist”. 2 Thessalonians 2:12

Now do me a good turn, while doing yourself a great service, and read all of these Holy Scriptures; then tell me to my face if you wish and can or any which way you must, but foremost say it all straight up to God in heaven in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ; that Bergoglio is living and abiding by all of these Holy Scriptures!

I tell you this, I’ve searched my own life experience and conscience probing deeply for the Truth and see my own sin eating me alive, but then I look at this heretic evil FRAUD masquerading as the “anointed one” of Jesus Christ’s Church here on earth, and I can’t bear to even look at this blaspheming man without revulsion and repudiation coming from deep in my gut and heart; because for his own purposes this man would lead as many of the flock as he can to Satan and indeed he is doing that to a large extent!

1 John 2:15-17 ESV “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”

John 8:23 ESV “He said to them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.”

James 4:4 ESV “You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

Philippians 3:20-21 ESV “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”

Ephesians 2:1-3 ESV “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.”

1 John 5:19 ESV “We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.”

1 John 2:17 ESV “And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”

John 15:18-19 ESV “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

Romans 12:1-2 ESV “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Philippians 3:20 ESV “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

James 1:27 ESV “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

Matthew 6:24 ESV “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

1 John 3:13 ESV “Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you.”

1 Peter 2:11 ESV “Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.”

John 15:18-21 ESV “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me.”

Matthew 16:26 ESV “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”

1 John 4:1 ESV “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

Luke 1:37 ESV “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

2 Timothy 3:16 ESV “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”

I now must quote with this to close my writing here, to say this is how most people are going along and where they have their heads, but most importantly their hearts; thus souls!

“The perennial effectiveness of these means is no longer preached and is no longer recognised. They no longer believe in them! Consequently, everything is reduced to a purely horizontal and historicist vision, in which contingencies prevail over principles, and where only the earthly well-being matters.”

Ah, the old let’s rewrite history to make it what we want it to be in order to suit our own gut and desires or willful ways; not the Truth! All of these are damned!

God in heaven in the Holy Name of Jesus please hear me and forgive me! Amen.

“An interview with the Superior General of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X on the pontificate of Pope Francis.”

DICI: Reverend Father, it has been eight years since Pope Francis ascended the throne of Saint Peter, and on the occasion of this anniversary, you have kindly granted us this interview, for which we are truly grateful.

For some observers of the pontificate of Pope Francis, particularly for those who are attached to Tradition, it seems that the battle of ideas is now over. According to them, it is now a praxis that dominates, namely concrete action, inspired by a wide-ranging pragmatism. What is your opinion of this?

Father Pagliarani: I am not really sure that actions and ideas should be opposed in this way. Pope Francis is definitely very pragmatic. But being a man of government, he knows perfectly well where he is going. A large-scale action is always inspired by theoretical principles, by a set of ideas, often dominated by a central idea to which all praxis can and must be related.

One must realise that all attempts to understand the principles of Pope Francis’ pragmatism are not without trial and error. For example, some people thought they had found his principles of action in the teologia del pueblo, an Argentinean variation of liberation theology – but which is much more moderate. However, in reality, it seems to me that Pope Francis is beyond this system, and even beyond any known system. I believe that the ideas that direct his actions cannot be analysed and interpreted in a satisfactory way, if we limit ourselves to traditional theological criteria. He is not only beyond any known system, he is above them all!

What do you mean by that?

With Pope John Paul II, for example, in spite of everything that can be deplored, concerning his pontificate, certain points of Catholic doctrine remained untouchable. Then with Pope Benedict XVI, we were dealing with a spirit that was attached to the roots of the Church. His considerable effort to square the circle, by reconciling Tradition with conciliar or post-conciliar teaching, though doomed to failure, nevertheless revealed a concern for fidelity to Tradition. But with Pope Francis, such a preoccupation no longer exists. The pontificate under which we are living is a historical turning point for the Catholic Church: bastions that still remained have now been demolished forever – humanly speaking; and at the same time, the Church has redefined, by revolutionising it, its mission towards souls and the world.

It is still too early to appreciate the full extent of this upheaval, but we can already try to analyse it.

Sin and mercy

You say that bastions that were still standing have been demolished. Which bastions are you talking about?

I am thinking, in particular, of the last moral foundations on which not only Christian society, but any natural society is established. It was bound to happen sooner or later, it was only a matter of time. Until now, despite sometimes being vague, the Church has maintained its moral demands quite firmly, for example concerning Catholic marriage, and She still clearly condemned all sexual perversions… But these demands were unfortunately based on a dogmatic theology that was diverted from its purpose, and thus made unstable. It was inevitable that one day they would also falter. Solid principles of action cannot stand firm for long when the idea of their divine author is weakened or distorted. These moral principles could survive for some time, even for a few decades, but deprived of their backbone, they were condemned to be one day classed as “outdated”, and practically denied. This is what we are witnessing under the pontificate of Pope Francis, in particular with the apostolic exhortation Amoris laetitia, of March 19th, 2016. This document not only contains serious errors, it manifests a completely new historicist approach.

What is this new approach? What would have determined his choice?

Pope Francis has a very precise general vision of contemporary society and of today’s Church – and even of the whole of history. He seems to me to be affected by a kind of hyperrealism, a sort of “pastoral” hyperrealism. According to him, the Church must face the facts: it is impossible for it to continue to preach moral doctrine as it has done up to now. She must therefore resolve to capitulate to the demands of modern man, and consequently, to rethink her role as a mother.

Of course, the Church must always be a mother. But instead of being a mother by transmitting her life and educating her sons, she will be one in as far as she knows how to listen, understand and accompany her sons… These concerns, which are not bad in themselves, are to be understood here in a new and very particular sense: the Catholic Church can no longer – and therefore should no longer – impose herself. She must be passive and adapt. It is the ecclesial life, as it is lived today, that conditions and determines the very mission of the Church, and even its raison d’être. For example, since she can no longer impose the same conditions for receiving Holy Communion as previously, because modern man sees them as an intolerable intolerance, the only realistic and truly Christian reaction, when following this logic, consists in adapting to this situation and redefining its requirements. Thus, by the force of things, morality changes: the eternal laws are now subject to an evolution, made necessary by historical circumstances and the imperatives of a false and misunderstood charity.

In your opinion, does the Pope feel uneasy about this development? Does he feel the need to justify it?

Without a doubt, the Pope must have been aware, from the outset, of the reaction that such a process would provoke in the Church. He was probably also aware of the fact that he was opening doors that had remained, for more than two thousand years, well and truly closed. But for him, the historical demands outweigh all other considerations.

It is in this perspective that the idea of “mercy” acquires its full value and scope. This idea of “mercy” is omnipresent in his speeches. It is no longer the response of a God of love, welcoming the repentant sinner with open arms, to regenerate him and give him back the life of grace. It is now a fatal mercy, which has become necessary in order to meet the urgent needs of humanity. Henceforth considered incapable of respecting even natural law, men have a strict right to receive this mercy, a kind of condescending amnesty from a God who also adapts Himself to history without dominating it any longer.

In this way, not only faith and the supernatural order are renounced, but also the moral principles that are indispensable for an honest and upright life. This is frightening because it means definitively renouncing the Christianisation of morals: on the contrary, Catholics are now to adopt the morals of the world, or at least have to adapt – on a case-by-case basis – the moral law to current morals, including those of “remarried” divorced couples and even same-sex couples.

This mercy has thus become a sort of panacea, the foundation of a new evangelisation to be proposed to a century that can no longer be converted, and to Christians on whom the yoke of the commandments can no longer be imposed. In this way, souls in peril, instead of being encouraged and strengthened in their faith, are reassured and comforted in their sinful situations. In so doing, the guardian of the faith even abolishes the natural order: which means absolutely nothing remains.

What underlies these errors is the total absence of transcendence or verticality. There is no longer any reference, even implicit, to the supernatural, to our life after this world, and above all, to the work of Redemption by Our Blessed Lord, who has definitively provided all men with the necessary means for their salvation. The perennial effectiveness of these means is no longer preached and is no longer recognised. They no longer believe in them! Consequently, everything is reduced to a purely horizontal and historicist vision, in which contingencies prevail over principles, and where only the earthly well-being matters.

Does this turning point, you mentioned, still remain consistent with the Second Vatican Council, or does it already belong to a Third Vatican Council, that did not take place?

There is both a continuity with the premises laid down at the Council and a superseding of them. This is for a very simple reason: with the Second Vatican Council, the Church wanted to adapt itself to the world, to “update itself” with the aggiornamento promoted by Pope John XXIII and Pope Paul VI. Now Pope Francis continues this adaptation to the world, but in a new and extreme sense: the Church must now adapt to the sins of the world – at least when the sin is “politically correct”. Therefore, it is then presented as an authentic expression of love, in all the forms allowed in contemporary society and thus permitted by a merciful God. Always on a case-by-case basis, but these exceptional cases are destined to become the norm, as we can already see in Germany.

The utopia of Pope Francis

Alongside this progressive annihilation of traditional morality, does Pope Francis propose values to be promoted? Or, to put it another way, in your opinion, on what foundation does he want to build?

This is a very pertinent question, to which the Pope himself gave the answer, on October 3rd, 2020, in his latest encyclical Fratelli tutti, when he affirmed that “all this calls for an alternative way of thinking”; and he continued by proposing that we “rise to the challenge of envisaging a new humanity. […] This is the true path to peace.” This is what is called a utopia, and this is what happens to all those who cut themselves off from their roots. The Holy Father, breaking with Divine Tradition, aspires to an ideal and an abstract perfection, totally disconnected from reality.

Admittedly, in the same passage, he defends his position, conceding that what he is saying “will sound wildly unrealistic”. He also specifies the basis on which he intends to justify his position: “the great principle that there are rights born of our inalienable human dignity”. But precisely, Divine Revelation and Catholic Tradition teach us that human nature and human dignity are not self-sufficient. As Chesterton says, “Take away the supernatural, and what remains is the unnatural”. Without God, nature alone tends to become, in practice, “unnatural”. By calling and elevating man to the supernatural order, God has ordered human nature to grace. Therefore, nature cannot remove the supernatural order without introducing deep disorder into itself. Pope Francis’ dream – his “alternative way of thinking” – is profoundly naturalistic.

Another sign of this utopian character, his dream takes on a universalistic scope: it is a question of imposing it on everyone, and in an authoritarian and absolute way. Being conceived in an artificial way, dreams can only be imposed in an artificial way…

But what does Pope Francis’ utopia consist of?

In perfect osmosis with the aspirations of modern man, imbued with the rights he claims and detached from his roots, it can be summed up in two ideas: those of integral ecology and universal fraternity. There is no coincidence that the Pope has dedicated two key encyclicals to these subjects, which, as he himself maintains, characterise the two main parts of his pontificate.

The integral ecology of Laudato sì’ (May 24th, 2015) is nothing other than a new morality proposed to the whole of humanity, leaving aside Divine Revelation and therefore the Gospel. Its principles are purely arbitrary and naturalistic. They harmonise without any problem with the atheistic aspirations of a humanity that is passionate about the earth where it lives, and mired in purely material concerns.

And the universal fraternity of Fratelli tutti, advocated by the Pope in a very solemn way during the Abu Dhabi Declaration, co-signed by the great Imam of Al-Azhar (February 4th, 2019), is nothing less than a naturalist caricature of Christian fraternity, founded on the divine paternity common to all men redeemed by Our Lord Jesus Christ. This fraternity is materially identical to that of Freemasonry, which, over the last two centuries, has done nothing but sow hatred, particularly against the Catholic Church, in a fierce desire to substitute itself for the only truly possible fraternity among men.

It is not only the negation of the supernatural order, reducing the Catholic Church to the dimensions of a philanthropic NGO, but it is also the lack of understanding of the wounds of original sin, and the oblivion of the need for grace to restore fallen nature and to promote peace among men.

In this context, how can the role of the Church still be distinguished from the role of civil society?

Today, the Catholic Church offers the image of a priestly power at the service of the contemporary world and its sociopolitical needs… However, this priesthood is no longer dedicated to the Christianisation of institutions or to reforming morals that have become pagan once more. It is a tragically human priesthood, without any supernatural dimension. Paradoxically, civil society and the Church thus find themselves, as in the heyday of Christianity, associated to fight side by side for common goals… but this time, it is the secularised society that suggests and imposes its own views and ideals on the Church. This is truly frightening: secular humanitarianism has become the light of the Church and the salt that gives it its flavour. The doctrinal and moral stampede of recent years is a good illustration of the inferiority complex that men of the Church maintain in relation to the modern world.

And yet – this is the mystery of our faith and it is also our hope – the Church is Holy! It is Divine! It is Eternal! In spite of the sorrows of the present hour, its interior life, in all its highest dimensions, is certainly of a beauty that delights God and the angels. Today, as always, the Catholic Church fully disposes of all the means necessary to guide and sanctify souls!

The necessity of Christ the King

In your opinion, how can the Church get rid of these errors and regenerate itself?

First of all, we must reject all utopias and return to reality, a return to the foundations of the Catholic Church. We can identify three key points that the Church must reclaim and start preaching again, in a straightforward way without concession or compromise: the existence of original sin and its effects (which are the triple concupiscence of which Saint John speaks of, in his first epistle) – and this is against all forms of naturalistic naivety; the necessity of grace, fruit of Redemption, which is the only remedy – but it is an all-powerful remedy – to triumph over those devastating effects; and the transcendence of an ultimate end which is not on this earth, but in Heaven.

Preaching this once more would be beginning again to “confirm thy brethren”. The true Catholic faith would once again be proclaimed. It is the necessary condition for every supernatural life. It is also the indispensable guardian of natural law, which is also divine, eternal and immutable in its origin, the necessary foundation to lead man to his perfection.

These three concepts can be summed up in a single ideal: that of Christ the King. He is the essence of our faith. He is the author of all grace. He is the author of this natural law that He engraved in the hearts of all men when He created them. The divine legislator does not change. He does not renounce His authority. Just as this law cannot be altered without altering the faith itself, neither can it be restored, without restoring to its divine legislator the honour due to Him.

To put it simply, we must not capitulate before this world, but “recapitulate all things in Christ”. It is in Christ the King and through Christ the King that the Catholic Church has all the means to overcome the world, whose prince is the father of lies. Through the Cross, He has already overcome him once and for all: “I have overcome the world”.

Do you think that the Blessed Virgin Mary will have a special role in this victory?

Since this victory is a victory for Christ the King, it will necessarily be one for his Blessed Mother. Our Lady is systematically associated with all the battles and all the victories of her Son. She will certainly be associated with this one in a very special way because never before has there been such a triumph of so pernicious and subtle errors, that have caused such widespread and profound ravages, in the concrete life of Catholics. The proof of this is that among the most beautiful titles that the Church attributes to Our Lady are those of “Destroyer of all heresies” – she crushes the head of those who conceive them – and “Help of Christians”. The more definitive the victory of an error appears, the more glorious will be the victory of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

[CP&S comment: Could any truly orthodox Catholic argue with any of the clear points made by Father Pagliarani, Superior General of the FSSPX, in this interview? They are wholly Catholic, faithful to traditional magisterial teaching, and totally relevant to the grave situation in the Church in these last eight years during the pontificate of Pope Francis. With the pope’s untiring attempts at demolition of the solid “bastions” of holy Christendom’s most basic moral teachings, Fr Pagliarani discusses how to confront what he terms, the worldly “utopia” of Pope Francis. He leaves us with hope that in time these errors will be overcome.

Sunday Readings and Reflections

This is a great blog article presenting so much historical context and perspective during the Lent Season leading up to the Crucifixion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; in fulfillment of the Holy Scriptures to His being Risen on Easter Sunday. Every Easter I watch the Mel Gibson Icon Production a 20th Century Fox release film The Passion of The Christ, because ever since the film was made I found that my watching it especially alone; gives me a fully and richer sense of really connecting with the historical Jesus Christ the man and Savior, when He was actually physically here on earth, putting our Savior in perfect context in this way I believe prepares me in a very special way, to have my heart completely open and prepared as an offering to Him on Easter the day He is risen when I attend Mass, so that I can gain a more humbled and visceral sense of hopefully being worthy of rising from my own death someday; up into heaven with Him, the Father and holy Mother Mary along with our whole heavenly family.

I know doing this practice before Easter Sunday does literally put me into the humblest frame of mind I can be in as I weep throughout the film as I can easily visualize what my Lord and Savior did for me even though I’m so unworthy but just like He does for any of us who will believe and accept His gift on bent knee of everlasting life with Him! Amen.
God Bless!
Brother in Christ Jesus,
Lawrence Morra III

Today I commented on another blog which brought up American Slavery and I mentioned the harsh slavery that existed thousands of years ago in Egypt and then on into the Middle Ages. I want to include that portion of the text here along with two blog essay links; which I had written.

The crusades by the way were generally a resultant reaction to what preceded them when the Muslims following the false prophet Muhammad after his final proclamation that Christianity is not acceptable to God and that all Christians, Jews or any others must convert to Islam or be put to death! Those were horrible times and yes some of the inquisitors perhaps enabled by the Roman Catholic Church Hierarchy along with monarchy leadership of those nations, got over zealous and hurt many of their own in the war that was raging on to free Europe from the grip of the largest Caliphate in history when the Muslims killed, raped and enslaved multitudes of people; so you want to talk about slavery talk about its original origins under Islam or even the Ancient Egyptian Empire doing the same for thousands of years to build and establish their kingdom.
I want to share a couple of blogs I wrote with you and anyone who is interested to just add a bit of my perception of what the Truth is; much of the American Birth you and I agree on in spades! The truth had been rewritten and perverted by sinister left wing radicals that hate America and let’s just say the Truth! They work for Satan make no mistake about that!

Book of Exodus20,1-17.

In those days, God delivered all these commandments :
“I, the LORD, am your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery.
You shall not have other gods besides me.
You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape of anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the earth;
you shall not bow down before them or worship them. For I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishment for their fathers’ wickedness on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation;
but bestowing mercy down to the thousandth generation, on the children of those who love me and keep my…
