Excellent and for me so timely and powerful a message coming from the past from this former President who is since grade school was one of my top 3 iconic historical figures of all time; and he lived right here in our beloved nation under God! Or so it was, until the evil crept in and so many allowed it to devour their souls along with their advocating the destruction of so many others, with this Great Nation under God!
I just wrote this commentary for a another fine blogger who brought it out but now as soon as I saw your posting here I said, OMG this is what and whom I’m relating to now in this most unprecedented crisis for America; this is all so fitting so I want to share these words of mine here, but, more importantly this message contained in your posting, which is from my favorite American Abraham Lincoln; I’m teary eyed and I hope and pray something in this that I’m doing here will touch someone’s heart as well.
You hit it on the proverbial head! All these BLM , Antifa or radial left anything are only being used as useful tools or as they say useful idiots until not needed anymore then the hammer comes down hard and swift! Russia doesn’t have a Hammer and Sickle as Flag Icons for the reasons they state openly! Marx was an out in the open Satan worshiper and caused his own two daughters to commit suicide, so how would such monsters feel about anyone else? That is what these evil insane power gloated Democrat Socialist Radical Party have brought to our shores but the Republicans are only a step away from being as nefarious having allowed so much decay in America, they even had the House and Senate on a few occasions and did virtually nothing to abate it all, because they care about themselves and lobbyists! Lindsey Graham is a rotten two-faced minion of hell! Loves Biden he said during the early stages of the election right on NBC one Sunday morning saying I love the guy! Guess Graham got the guy he wanted in the White House! Birds of a feather no matter how evil or dirty; my Grandmother would say no shame! I say yes Grandma no conscience either!
By the way I’m a wildlife rehabber took the certification courses and used to belong to the Sierra Club went to some big seminars but when they went hard left and played a scam to just take down conservatives and didn’t mind all the radical evil the Left was up to along with catering to the Big Tech Globalists I cut them all loose just for the reason you stated they are so dumb ass to think they will win out for anybody including the animals by sticking up for the Agenda of the Corporate Machine and Establishment like the Bush family, Obama, Hollywood and so on, they joined the Nazis of America and lost me for good which bothered me for the animals sake but like you said if we lose control of the government completely which is close to happening then nothing will matter anymore anyway; the whole thing will turn into a hell in no time just like Banana Republics and other Dictatorships; and then the agony for animals and people will really begin as they rip everything apart for evil and ill-gotten gains! Called cutting off your nose to spite your face!
If the left had smelled the coffee a little while ago this would not be happening and We the People would have a stronger Citizen’s Government that the forefathers intended and be moving in the right direction!
2 Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first and that man of sin “lawlessness” be revealed, the son of perdition.”
Keep hanging in and praying we have hope on our side and God answers faithful prayer!
These additional thoughts are repeated from recent commentary but do apply now too!
It’s the bad seeds and ugly underbelly of humanity that is being separated from the whole and that which will pay the full price for all of this suffering as well as the injustice; none of that will get by God, absolutely not going to happen and peace will come to those who deserve it! I can say with and have confidence that its much bigger than we can grasp onto to with our limited faculties and reasoning capabilities but that the final analysis is profoundly beautiful not sad at all!
“What Is the Origin and Source of “Good Things Come to Those Who Wait”?
Abraham Lincoln is most famous for using this quote. “Things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.”
However, the former president did not originate the quote either. This quote actually began with a writer who lived during the 19th and 20th Centuries. Her name was Lady Mary Montgomerie Currie. As when Christians use the phrase, the meaning in her words was also to encourage the listener to exercise patience. She used the phrase in her poem “Tout vient a qui sait attendre”. In this work, Lady Mary wrote under the pseudonym Violet Fane.
The passage from her work goes as follows.
“All hoped-for things will come to you
Who have the strength to watch and wait,
Our longings spur the steeds of Fate,
This has been said by one who knew.”
And it continues into the phrase, “Ah, all things come to those who wait”.
However, while the Bible does not use this phrase verbatim, we can see through a number of passages in the Bible that those who wait on God are indeed blessed. Good things do come to those who wait. The Bible with all its various stories has a plethora of examples where people waited for good things following a bad event. And no matter what form it took, the good thing was always a blessing from God.
Mary waited for a child. Job waited for restoration. Joseph waited in prison. The Israelite’s waited to find the Promised Land. There was a lot of waiting for believers then, and the same is true now. While one suffers, waiting does not feel like a good thing, but God does promise a good outcome in the end. Scripture speaks to this truth.” crosswalk.com
“18For as I have often told you before, and now say again even with tears: Many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and their glory is in their shame. Their minds are set on earthly things. 20But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians 3:19
“The Hope we have today and eternally.” That is the point isn’t it! We’re really only here such a short time it isn’t even funny how short as I see it now! So what else can or should matter more or near as much than knowing Him, and following best we can in order to do the Father’s will if even a bit inadequately at least during our short stay here we prove ourselves worthy by revealing our true heart and intentions to Jesus who will make us acceptable to His Father! He is the master potter isn’t He! Thank you Lord for being there is all I can say! I often have thought of the scene of Jesus on His cross while Dismas to His right actually speaking to Him and admitting how miserably he failed in this life, as I’ve watched The Passion of The Christ many times each time I have wept at this scene and most of the movie but this scene is the most powerful to me as it’s all about Redemption and how Jesus will redeem the lost sheep if they will turn to Him in complete humility and contrite heart laying prostrate at His feet in a sense like Mary Magdalene had; and yet what did our Sweet Lord say to Dismas in spite of his failures!
Luke 23:43 “42Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!” 43And Jesus said to him, “Truly I tell you today, you will be with Me in Paradise.” Jesus knows the heart absolutely so no one that deserves to be with the father will miss the bus!!! And no one can fool Him either! This is why this whole plan is so perfect and true it’s hard, but the only plan that would in the end truly separate the wheat from the chaff! The genuine article is found in all of this mayhem! My favorite word, that I added parentheses to here in the Scripture, that the world lacks too often and especially in today’s mad high tech hurry gimme mine world!
“Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, and BECOME as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven..whoever, therefore, shall “HUMBLE” himself As this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”~Jesus Christ –Matthew 18
Absolutely is truth calling to us from the past regarding this additional comment I made today which has the potential now to be the final nail in the coffin of not only America but the entire human race which is hanging by threads as it were for all of its many abominable transgressions against God! So just by what has happened since 1973 1.5 Billion Abortions worldwide and over 62 Million here in the US alone, I ask what the hell has happened to human beings. World War II Auschwitz when millions of Jews were slaughtered and the world said never again; but yet now industrial scale abortion is a way of life and selling the body parts is fine? This world is on the edge of HELL! Mark my words if this world (humans) doesn’t wake up fast the horrible burning end with God’s Wrath will be upon it soon enough! Time is running out fast and Biden America’s Man of Perdition who appropriated 467 $Billion dollars during his first 100 days in office to exclusively be used to kill babies; half a TRILLION!!! And so many Americans and others around the world are talking like everything is just hunky-dory and no problem with this evil! We are in the realm of Diabolical Evil on an Unprecedented Scale now! This is going to end one way or the other!
God help us to help ourselves through Jesus Christ the savior! Amen.

“The Sweet Silver Song of a Lark”
To Mom for all your efforts and love as a Devoted Mother!
I can always hear you singing this Classic
The Story Behind Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Beloved Song of Hope—“You’ll Never Walk Alone” WRTI
This is my personal story behind the song!
Mom when I was a boy you made me aware this song was your favorite contemporary classic and I always loved hearing you sing it with your beautifully trained God given talented Soprano voice! Now no matter where I am or what condition I’m in I can recall those days hearing you sing this song that always brings tears to my eyes, and I know God meant for you to teach us with your devotion as our Mother and with your beautiful voice, what is most important in this life, as I feel it deep in my heart and soul now! Just like this song says “you’ll never walk alone” and no matter what crisis or difficulty we may be going through as long as we have Faith in Jesus Christ, we always walk with “Hope in our Hearts” that will protect and guide us home to the Lord! But as we walk through any storm, we should hold our heads up high, being brave and courageous, knowing that “He is always walking with us!” I found this to be so true on those few occasions when I could have died; but was spared for His reasons or purposes! And when I had to fight a huge battle on my own your support, comfort and prayers along with Lord Jesus was what really made the difference in finding my way through it all; to a day of rest, where I could hear “The Sweet Silver Song of a Lark!” Thank you Mom! I love you! Thank you Jesus for bestowing these miraculous gifts and opportunity upon us! All the Glory is yours our Savior Jesus!
Mom your Loving Son in Jesus Christ,
Lorenzo

“If God were our one and only desire we would not be so easily upset when our opinions do not find outside acceptance”
“He’s encouraging us to have an influence everywhere we go”
Excellent contrast of the two metaphors and I especially love the idea of this line; “He’s encouraging us to have an influence everywhere we go.”
That is walking with Christ and being a true disciple who is doing the Fathers’ will we can rest assured.
I was given a pocket version of an important book that a man I used to work with thought went along with my mindset at the time! This man was in the seminary to be a priest prior to my meeting him which is all an interesting set of circumstances how all this came about, perhaps a true God Send; but as I was saying this man working for years to become a priest, then through an epiphany he changed the whole plan and went on to be a chemist and married a fine Catholic woman who couldn’t bear children but she too is also a scientist like him only her specialty is in microbiology! They are very happy together and complement each other beautifully; a major blessing from God. I’m single and always have been but the book that he gave to me makes sense, as it seems fitting in my case as to the way my life has gone; and perhaps clearly what God wanted me to focus on going forward!
The Imitation of Christ (De Imitatione Christi), first published in 1418 by the German-Dutch monk and scribe, Thomas Hemerken of Kempen, better known as Thomas à Kempis (1380 – 25 July 1471).
“If God were our one and only desire we would not be so easily upset when our opinions do not find outside acceptance.” ― Thomas à Kempis, The Imitation of Christ
A quotation of what a Good Reads follower had said about this magnificent book! “This book is going to forever be in either of two places in my home; my coffee table or my bedside. Reading this book this morning was like drinking deep of Christ’s love. Thomas a Kempis wrote this devotion in such a way to fan the flame in our soul with beautiful gentle words.”
Here is the link to the blog essay I wrote pertaining to this book and its growing importance to me now!
Hey Allison! I see we are both card carrying members of the same club!! “The Worriers Club” or otherwise known as “The Worrywarts!” Of course there is that other genre of Warriors that are adept in the heat of battle but this category that I admit to be quite proficient in are also quite capable in other or certain kinds of battle fields; the more cerebral arenas! Straight out of the gate I can say how my more worrisome hesitant attitude did keep me out of situations that would have otherwise sucked me in just the way they did many others, even many persons that I grew up with! I remember clearly the peer pressure by buddies wanting to get high all of the time and saying how smoking weed is nothing, so why not; but I was always leery of it, first because drawing any breathe laden with toxic chemicals or smoke of any kind into my lungs was too weird! Then there was the fact that Pot does have specific chemicals that do give a buzz to those that enjoy that transition to being stoned and attempt to escape reality, but, at what cost once a person becomes psychologically and biologically dependent to this induced effect; and truth be known Marijuana is a psychoactive drug! It actually contains upwards of 500 chemicals, one of which is the well-known THC, which is a proven mind-altering compound that absolutely causes harmful health effects over time; perhaps not as risky as using LSD which has been known to damage a person’s mind with one use, but, nonetheless any damaging effect should be avoided if a person plans on taking care of their life in a responsible manner; we after all get only the one body we are born with!!
I was always top grades in chemistry and knew that chemical reactions are a natural occurrence in this existence but not all of them are good. So my being very selective about this matter kept me away from any interest in Pot or any drug including alcohol, “Alcohol, sometimes referred to by the chemical name ethanol, is a psychoactive drug that is the active ingredient in drinks such as beer, wine, and distilled spirits” (Wikipedia), which can be very addictive as we all well know someone that became an alcoholic or still is one!
Fortunately for me my being a guy that according to many friends worried too much which was true as compared to them and others at least, I didn’t end up with some drug hang-up or habit that led to very serious, as my dad would say, “consequences for doing something that wasn’t right,” or “good for me!” My grandfather had a strong motto; “Avoid Trouble!” So I did and some of the guys I grew up with got deep into drug or alcohol habits and sorry to say most damaged their health or lives in a variety of ways or are already departed; having lived a much shorter life because they weren’t being prudent or a perhaps a bit of a “worrywart!”
The only thing I want to add as a caveat of caution for now about being such a worrisome person, for me as an example, that it tends to create a stress that I’ve had to try to recognize and find ways that are sensible to avoid being too much like the squirrel that gets all of his nuts in a bunch, and starts to get a bit nutty in the process! In other words, worrying taken too far can make a person neurotic and even a basket case or bundle of nerves; so one must learn to monitor their own need to be careful and sensible with being overly concerned and a bit paranoid! It comes down to having one’s mind aware and being capable of assessing the “risk/benefit analysis” moving forward in any behavior or action to keep things on an even keel! More simply put perhaps we can say that extremes in any direction are generally never healthy or wise and maybe not going to get one wealthy either; of course there are different kinds of wealth aren’t there! Blessings!
Allison! Goodness me I slipped and forgot the crux of my message to you and anyone that cares! Here is the whole of it in a nutshell; maybe a squirrels one special nut, like me I’m a special nut! At least to who it matters to!
This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for fear. That’s a strange statement, I know, but it’s true: I’m grateful for what worrying has taught me. I’ve struggled with anxiety my entire life, and this year I’ve realized that as frustrating as that journey has been, I wouldn’t trade it even if I could. It’s been an incredible blessing in disguise, and today I wanted to explain why.
I see with my eyes and heart or what some say is an innate 6th sense and for me it’s been quite easy to grasp onto even putting aside Holy Scriptures if I must; that the complexity of existence and the impossibility of it all being happenstance or guess work is truly absurd!
This statement is very profoundly key to what I’d like to talk about here!
“I am very glad that I am part of creation. Someone thought of me, then made me. Aren’t you glad?”
The star-forming region NGC 3603 – seen here in the latest Hubble Space Telescope image – contains one of the most impressive massive young star clusters in the Milky Way. Bathed in gas and dust the cluster formed in a huge rush of star formation thought to have occurred around a million years ago. The hot blue stars at the core are responsible for carving out a huge cavity in the gas seen to the right of the star cluster in NGC 3603’s centre.
That is a truism and some words of wisdom. Someone did think of you and all of this in a completely perfect conceptualization manner, and it’s been said that God’s handiwork can be seen in all of existence! What you said here is a tribute to that revelation by others in the past who peered deeply into the unknown and even incomprehensible but did find significant clues or evidence of the fact that all of this was CONCEIVED and MADE implying absolutely forethought and decisive calculation beyond what we can even begin to fully appreciate let alone understand! But sometimes the obvious answers to the biggest questions are staring us right in the face; but too many people want to think they know better and can extrapolate some quantifiable formula or rationale that puts things in a representational perspective or model of some kind, that they can then promote or sell to the world while avoiding these obvious answers that override all of that man-made formulation of what is going on in the big picture; and no one can ever represent or comprehend God Himself; never going to happen!
I find it very insightful or actually revelatory by this man we all know was a remarkably brilliant person who I think even though his head was immersed in the world of science and theories he had a keen insight into God’s presence and reality like few people can achieve with our limiting cognitive faculties; but I see his respect and love of God was present and genuine; therefore we can say God will judge accordingly, I know for myself from historical fact Einstein was a good and respectful soul in this world, so I do wish him well.
Einstein on Self and the Mystical
“A human being is part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self. We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive.”
-Albert Einstein, 1954
“The most beautiful and most profound experience is the sensation of the mystical. It is the sower of all true science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead. To know that what is impenetrable to us really exists, manifesting itself as the highest wisdom and the most radiant beauty which our dull faculties can comprehend only in their primitive forms – this knowledge, this feeling is at the centre of true religiousness.”
-Albert Einstein – “The Merging of Spirit and Science”
This man the father of physics had said a few great one liners but two that stand out are these. He referred to God as the “Old One.” He speaking to other physicists was known to have said during a discussion about the Big Bang Theory in which one scientist said that with enough “random events” occurring in this pre-millisecond before it happened eureka the right combination occurred; Einstein just plainly said; “God doesn’t play dice.”
Here I was doing a bit of grappling with this subject recently when I put it all this way!
The precise order and all things seeking or even falling into balance Is all so well defined as to their intrinsic properties it couldn’t be infinitesimally possible for all of this to come out of randomness, and physicists agree on the four uniform integral component laws of physics and there could be a 5th according to some, which some call the “absolute factor” and though this is that which we humans are incapable of fully comprehending, this IT factor ties everything together in a perfect package; and that absolute can only be and is God the all-encompassing and knowing as I have read often enough in Scripture plainly pointing out when God spoke directly to a person, He the Great Old One saying, “I AM that I AM sent you;” to Moses! The Book of Genesis does say “Let us make them in our image;” so we only get to the point we do because God intended for us to be likened unto Him giving the capacity of creativity and reason to expand our intellect and knowledge just like the expanding universe is heading to some completion or endpoint that we are encouraged by and by our growth or completion we’re becoming more like Him our Creator on a spiritual level; becoming more unified.
The more we understand about Nature or overall existence the more we can see it’s obviously a perfect amazing complex structure of Design and very Creative into its deepest depths! Along with great analysis by some scientists going beyond anything that appears to be randomness within the system of quantum mechanics there is instead an unknown physical law that somehow, even though to us incomprehensible, obviously in some way unifies all classical mechanics with quantum mechanics. This may point to and reveal how Einstein’s “Old One” thought as God the Creator; when He created the Universe! Because it all does apparently fit together beautifully and to me that is just too much of everything to have just fallen into place from chaos or total imbalance becoming total balance; without a planned order to things!
But as it all appears to definitely be based on systems and each as part of other systems all interconnecting while continuing to increase to higher levels of complexity. While even each system has its own operating laws, “designed to meet a goal or actual purpose why it was created.” Like I often say we individual humans have a goal to reach while alive in this limited form that can be achieved in a shorter or longer life span no problem; but then additionally we have an integral part to play in other systems or we can say lives too; affecting outcomes or positive decisions is the aim, not sin!
We’re dealing with Nothing more than the continuous unknown position or order of things as we are caught in our limiting sense of time passing, and lacking Absolute understanding; thereby being outside of by our severely limited infeasible capability to know all things, this resulting unknown “order” is therefore being unpredictable to humans, but in nature, all of creation; random does not exist! Its how we have to see things, being as we are and where we are for now!
Also the trickery and deception going on in the world by mankind is absolutely unprecedented now in this digital age wrapped up in a world with so much greed; and for example these social media being a plan or experiment in social engineering is clearly what’s going on. Even on this platform the games and manipulation is constant, while also most people here are in it for just personal gain and even fame! Look around how people plaster themselves all over it or push one thing or another for likes and clicks to make a BUCK or have their ego caressed and feel adulated or even worshiped.
To me, there can be no doubt that “We Little People” are part of the “Big Plan!” So that puts us in a position of utter “humility and need for guidance!”
God bless you!
Happy Thanksgiving! And YES; I’m with you on being totally “very glad that I am part of creation. Someone thought of me, then made me!!!”

On Thanksgiving here in America let us thank God for our lives and the greatest opportunity it provides which is to serve His plan and purpose while we devout our love to Him our Father in the Holy name of Jesus. Amen.
As we share our love with family during holiday festivities remember to pray for all those who are alone or in any difficult unfortunate circumstances, those multitudes that are suffering; that they are blessed to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who wants to lead them home!
“To me the lyric of a song is secondary, but the song in question is a welcome departure from the usual, overworked theme of love, but also it has a good melody and expresses sympathy for the lonely.” Bernard says: December 24, 2020 at 5:40 pm
Like anything in this life truth and facts must be ferreted out so carry on from here listening to the tune then read all of the text, there is a second version of the story behind the song, and then another song that nails down the significant all encapsulating meaning of “Lonely People!”
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby
Picks up the rice in the church where a wedding has been
Lives in a dream
Waits at the window
Wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door
Who is it for?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
Father McKenzie
Writing the words of a sermon that no one will hear
No one comes near
Look at him working
Darning his socks in the night when there’s nobody there
What does he care?
All the lonely people
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people
Where do they all belong?
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Ah, look at all the lonely people
Eleanor Rigby
Died in the church and was buried along with her name
Nobody came
Father McKenzie
Wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave
No one was saved
All the lonely people (ah, look at all the lonely people)
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely people (ah, look at all the lonely people)
Where do they all belong?

“Best song from the Beatles and one of the best scenes from Yellow Submarine.”
The Beatles’ “Eleanor Rigby” Lyrics Meaning
by SMF · Published February 18, 2020 · Updated February 19, 2020
“Eleanor Rigby” is a certified Beatles’ classic, indeed somewhat of a cultural phenomenon in and of itself. And as such, certain information should be established from the onset.
First is that for all intents and purpose it is safe to say that the titular character, Eleanor Rigby, was not a real person. This seems to be an idea that many fans of the song have a hard time accepting. But throughout the years, for the most part Paul McCartney, the primary writer of the tune, has contended that Miss Rigby is indeed a fictitious character. Yes, at one point he did acknowledge that his conjuring up this name may have been the subconscious result of being influenced by a particular tombstone in a graveyard he used to hang out in during his youth. But he has also contended that she is a totally-fictitious character, one whose people’s insistence to prove is real has to some degree confounded him.
Indeed at the end of the day, the factual consensus is that he got the first name of the character from an actress (Eleanor Bron) who was associated with the Beatles at the time. And the last name was derived from a liquor store (Rigby & Evens Ltd, Wine & Spirit Shippers) he was familiar with in the UK.
Father McKenzie is not real!
And the same also goes for the second character we are introduced to in this song, Father McKenzie. In fact he was originally named Father McCartney after Macca himself. But to Paul personally, this appellation invoked images of his father. And upon realizing that his dad is nothing like the character portrayed in the song, he decided to rename him.
“Eleanor Rigby” is partially based on Reality
But with those facts being established, this is not to imply that “Eleanor Rigby” does not have any basis in reality. Rather let’s say that the titular character is a composite of a number of different elderly ladies Paul McCartney used to hang out with when he was a child. Indeed he even used to run errands for them. So you can say that his sympathy for the type of person Eleanor is depicted as is real.
Narrative
Now as for the narrative itself, it centers primarily on the Beatles acknowledging “all the lonely people”. More specifically it depicts Eleanor Rigby and Father McKenzie as lonely souls themselves. And the first of the two we are introduced to is Eleanor. Interestingly enough her age is never specified. However, one peculiar characteristic she has is her tendency to ‘pick up the rice in a church where a wedding has been’. And despite this being somewhat of an unorthodox statement, it does effectively relay the fact that she is indeed lonely, perhaps even suffering from some sort of mental issues or poverty as a result.
Father McKenzie is also an interesting case. We see that he is in fact a priest of some sort or a head of a church. However, his congregation is nonexistent. Thus his loneliness is manifest by him being akin to a leader with no followers. Yet despite this, he stays committed to his profession.
Climax of the Story
So the way the story climaxes is with Eleanor Rigby eventually passing away. And sadly enough, “nobody came” to her funeral. But furthermore it is Father McKenzie who actually buries her. And so the story ends, with the Beatles apparently lamenting for “all the lonely people” throughout.
Now it’s debatable that they are trying to relay certain messages, lessons if you will, via this tale. For instance, it has been speculated by some fans that the case is presented as ideally Eleanor and Father McKenzie would have met when she was still alive, became friends and thus served as the remedy to each other’s loneliness. There is also a peculiar, ambiguous line at the end of the third verse, after Rigby is buried, which reads “no one is saved”.
Now at the time this song was dropped, the Beatles, particularly John Lennon, was going through an anti-Christian phase, so to speak. So it is honestly quite-feasible that since the church is one of the settings of this song, as well as a priest being one of its central characters, that the band is actually taking a jab at the organized religion. And if so what they would basically be pointing to is the idea of Christianity failing some of its adherents in the most-fundamental way.
Conclusion
Verily, if a listener wants to look for additional meaning in this song by examining the rich history of the Beatles, combined with the symbolic nature of some of its lyrics, there is definitely enough there to lend to varying interpretations. But by and large, the narrative featured within “Eleanor Rigby” is straightforward and easy-to-follow. That is to say that most people who appreciate the tune lyrically do so because of the parts of the song that are simple to understand. And in that regard, it is fundamentally a sad song. It is a sorrowful song centered on an old lady who lives with no one to care for her and dies with no one to bury her.
In other words it’s the type of track to invoke sympathy for those who may actually be living under such circumstances, i.e. a humanitarian tune. And at the end of the day, “Eleanor Rigby” is one of the reasons why many people feel that the Beatles were musical geniuses. They were pop artists who were able to write and recite a hit song about such thought-provoking and heart-wrenching subject matter as care for the elderly and sympathy for the lonely.

The credited writers of this song are Paul McCartney and an entity known as Lennon-McCartney. The latter would be a combination of Paul McCartney and his Beatles’ bandmate, John Lennon (1940-1980). Furthermore it is noted for being the first song which Mr. McCartney had written which was not centered on the theme of love.
The musical score of this song was composed by another Beatle, George Harrison (1943-2001). None of the Beatles themselves actually played instruments on this track. And in that regard, “Eleanor Rigby” is said to be one-of-a-kind. In this case what they did do was employ session musicians consisting of two violists, two cellists and four violinists. And
due to the complexity of the instrumental, the Beatles never played this tune live.
The producer of “Eleanor Rigby” was the Beatles co-worker on most of their hits, Sir George Martin (1926-2016).
This track originally came out on 5 August 1966 as part of the Beatles’ album entitled “Revolver”.
“Eleanor Rigby” was quite-successful. It topped the UK Singles Chart and performed likewise in Canada and New Zealand. In fact it is noted for being the top-selling song in the UK for 1966.
Moreover it peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. Apparently it was not promoted as heavily in the United States as it was in the UK due to the religious references in the song.
“Eleanor Rigby” also earned Paul McCartney in particular a Grammy Award. This was in 1966, and it was awarded in the category of “Best Contemporary (R&R) Solo Vocal Performance – Male or Female”.
Moreover as of 2011, Rolling Stone has ranked this track at number 138 on its list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time”.
Popular Covers of “Eleanor Rigby”
A number of prominent artists have covered “Eleanor Rigby”, especially during its heyday. Amongst them are:
Ray Charles (1968)
Aretha Franklin (1969)
John Denver (1970)
Tony Bennett (1971)
José Feliciano (1992)
Pearl Jam (2005)
Paul McCartney also did his own remix of this song and featured it on his 1984 solo album, “Give My Regards to Broad Street”.
The Eleanor Rigby Fascination
Despite Paul McCartney acknowledging, as aforementioned, that Eleanor Rigby is not a real person, fans of the tune have still been obsessed with tracking down a real person by this name who fits the character described in the song. Indeed sometimes their efforts are borderline comedic. For instance, the aforementioned headstone in Liverpool, England (i.e. the Beatles’ hometown) which cites an “Eleanor Rigby” has accordingly become somewhat of a tourist attraction. Said headstone is even depicted on the music video to the 1995 Beatles’ track “Free as a Bird”. Moreover a document from 1911, which Paul McCartney at one time personally handled, which references a Eleanor Rigby (more specifically “E. Rigby”) was auctioned off for a whopping £115,000 pounds (approximately $250,000) in 2008.
Interesting to note is that there is also a real Eleanor Rigby statue located in the English city of Liverpool. It was erected in the aforementioned city in 1982. And interestingly, it is directly based on the character from the song.
Paul McCartney wrote most of this song. He got the name “Eleanor” from the actress Eleanor Bron, who appeared in the 1965 Beatles film Help!. “Rigby” came to him when he was in Bristol, England, and spotted a store: Rigby and Evens Ltd Wine and Spirit Shippers. He liked the name “Eleanor Rigby” because it sounded natural and matched the rhythm he wrote.
McCartney explained at the time that his songs came mostly from his imagination. Regarding this song, he said, “It just came. When I started doing the melody I developed the lyric. It all came from the first line. I wonder if there are girls called Eleanor Rigby?”
McCartney wasn’t sure what the song was going to be about until he came up with the line “picks up the rice in a church where a wedding has been.” That’s when he came up with the story of an old, lonely woman. The lyrics “wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door” are a reference to the cold-cream she wears in an effort to look younger.
The song tells the story of two lonely people. First, we meet a churchgoing woman named Eleanor Rigby, who is seen cleaning up rice after a wedding. The second verse introduces the pastor, Father McKenzie, whose sermons “no one will hear.” This could indicate that nobody in coming to his church, or that his sermons aren’t getting through to the congregation on a spiritual level. In the third verse, Eleanor dies in the church and Father McKenzie buries her.
“Father Mackenzie” was originally “Father McCartney.” Paul decided he didn’t want to freak out his dad and picked a name out of the phone book instead.
After Eleanor Rigby is buried, we learn that “no one was saved,” indicating that her soul did not elevate to heaven as promised by the church. This could be seen as a swipe at Christianity and the concept of being saved by Jesus. The song was released in August 1966 just weeks after the furor over John Lennon’s remarks, “Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn’t argue about that; I’m right and I will be proved right. We’re more popular than Jesus now.”
For the most part, the song eluded controversy, possibly because the lilting string section made it easier to handle.
A string section scored by Beatles producer George Martin consisting of four violins, two violas and two cellos were used in recording. Paul may have been inspired by the classic composer Vivaldi.
The Beatles didn’t play any of the instruments on this track. All the music came from the string players, who were hired as session musicians.
Paul McCartney recounted this song’s origin story in a 2018 interview with GQ. He said: “When I was really little I lived on what was called a housing estate, which is like the projects – there were a lot of old ladies and I enjoyed sitting around with these older ladies because they had these great stories, in this case about World War II. One in particular I used to visit and I’d go shopping for her – you know, she couldn’t get out. So I had that figure in my mind of a sort of lonely old lady.
Over the years, I’ve met a couple of others, and maybe their loneliness made me empathize with them. But I thought it was a great character, so I started this song about the lonely old lady who picks up the rice in the church, who never really gets the dreams in her life. Then I added in the priest, the vicar, Father McKenzie. And so, there was just the two characters. It was like writing a short story, and it was basically on these old ladies that I had known as a kid.”
In Observer Music Monthly, November 2008, McCartney said: “These lonely old ladies were something I knew about growing up, and that was what ‘Eleanor Rigby’ was about – the fact that she died and nobody really noticed. I knew this went on.”
There is a gravestone for an Eleanor Rigby in St. Peter’s Churchyard in Woolton, England. Woolton is a suburb of Liverpool and Lennon first met McCartney at a fete at St. Peter’s Church. The gravestone bearing the name Eleanor Rigby shows that she died in October 1939, aged 44.
However Eleanor was not like the lonely people in McCartney’s song, as she was married. Another of the gravestones there has the word “McKenzie” written on it. McCartney has denied that that is the source of the names, though he has agreed that they may have registered subconsciously.
This was originally written as “Miss Daisy Hawkins.” According to Rolling Stone magazine, when McCartney first played the song for his neighbor Donovan Leitch, the words were “Ola Na Tungee, blowing his mind in the dark with a pipe full of clay.”
The lyrics were brainstormed among The Beatles. In later years, Lennon and McCartney gave different accounts of who contributed more of the words to the song.
During recording, microphones were placed very close to the instruments to create an unusual, vaguely distorted sound.
Ray Charles reached #35 US and #36 UK with his version in 1968; Aretha Franklin took it to #17 US in 1969. A year later, an instrumental by the group El Chicano went to #115. The song reached the chart again in 2008 when David Cook of American Idol fame took it to #92.
Because of the string section, this was difficult to play live, which The Beatles never did. On his 2002 Back In The US tour, Paul McCartney played this without the strings. Keyboards were used to compensate.
This song was not written in a normal chord, it is in the dorian mode – the scale you get when you play one octave up from the second note of a major scale. This is usually found in old songs such as “Scarborough Fair.”
Vanilla Fudge covered this in a slowed-down, emotional style, something they did with many songs, including hits by ‘N Sync and The Backstreet Boys. Their version of “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” was a #6 US hit in 1968. Fudge drummer Carmine Appice told Songfacts: “Most of the songs we did, we tried to take out of the realm they were in and try to put them where they were supposed to be in our eyes. ‘Eleanor Rigby’ was always a great song by The Beatles. It was done with the orchestra, but the way we did it, we put it into an eerie graveyard setting and made it spooky, the way the lyrics read. Songs like ‘Ticket To Ride,’ that’s a hurtin’ song, so we slowed it down so it wouldn’t be so happy. We would look at lyrics and the lyrics would dictate if it was feasible to do something with it or not.”
In 1966, this song took home the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Performance, Male. It was awarded to Paul McCartney.
In August 1966, the long-defunct British music magazine Disc And Music Echo asked Kinks frontman Ray Davies to review the then newly released Revolver album. This is how he reacted to this song: “I bought a Haydn LP the other day and this sounds just like it. It’s all sort of quartet stuff and it sounds like they’re out to please music teachers in primary schools. I can imagine John saying: ‘I’m going to write this for my old schoolmistress’. Still it’s very commercial.”
The chorus of this song was sampled as part of Sinead O’Connor’s 1994 song “Famine,” which is based on the story of the potato famine in Ireland.
In 2008 a document came to light that showed that McCartney may have had an alternative source for the Eleanor Rigby name. In the early 1990s a lady named Annie Mawson had a job teaching music to children with learning difficulties. Annie managed to teach a severely autistic boy to play “Yellow Submarine” on the piano, which won him a Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award. She wrote to the former Beatle telling him what joy he’d brought. Months later, Annie received a brown envelope bearing a “Paul McCartney World Tour” stamp. Inside was enclosed a page from an accounts log kept by the Corporation of Liverpool, which records the wages paid in 1911 to a scullery maid working for the Liverpool City Hospital, who signed her name “E. Rigby.” There was no accompanying letter of explanation. Annie said in an interview that when she saw the name Rigby, “I realized why I’d been sent it. I feel that when you’re holding it you’re holding a bit of history.”
When the slip went up for auction later that year, McCartney told the Associated Press: “Eleanor Rigby is a totally fictitious character that I made up. If someone wants to spend money buying a document to prove a fictitious character exists, that’s fine with me.”
This was released simultaneously on August 5, 1966 on both the album Revolver and as a double A-side with “Yellow Submarine.”
The thrash band Realm covered this song on their 1988 album Endless War. It is a speed metal version of the song that got them signed to Roadrunner Records.
McCartney told Q magazine June 2010 that after recording the song, he felt he could have done better. He recalled: “I remember not liking the vocal on Eleanor Rigby, thinking, I hadn’t nailed. I listen to it now and it’s… very good. It’s a bit annoying when you do Eleanor Rigby and you’re not happy with it.”
Former US President Bill Clinton has stated that this is his favorite Beatles song.
Richie Havens covered this on his 1966 debut album, Mixed Bag, and again on his 1987 Sings Beatles and Dylan album.
God gave so much by His expression of love when he created us and all of this the seen and the unseen; then even gave Himself as the Redeemer to bridge the chasm between imperfection and corruption unto Holiness and Eternal Perfection in God’s glory for those of faith through Jesus Christ the Savior and Good Shepherd! During the Holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas as well throughout the year we must do our best to remember these facts and truth that tells us so clearly how it is better to give than to receive!
God bless you.
Paul’s Farewell to the Ephesians
“34You yourselves know that these hands of mine have ministered to my own needs and those of my companions. 35In everything, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus Himself: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” 36When Paul had said this, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.” Acts 20:35
“John 3:16 is one of the most well-known verses of all time. It says, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
“In the very presence of Jesus, God demonstrates that He is love—and love gives. If we truly want to be like Jesus, we’ll give.” pushpay.com

“When you defend My Word, you will be deemed to be cruel, unkind and lacking in sympathy to those who do not believe in God”
Yes it has begun as many already are serving the beast system and false god the antichrist to come upon the world stage in the short term as we are in the End Time now! Many profess inclusivity of all creeds, social orders, gender identity sexual preferences, CRT, Political Correctness, universal income or other communist agendas and all of the LGBTQ militant mindsets which are all man-made constructs based on lies and hypocrisy having nothing to do with God Almighty and His Plan for Humanity the Truth of which has been revealed by what Jesus Christ imparted to us through His complete sacrifice of Himself as the Lamb of God who came to take away all of our sins in order to cleanse our immortal souls before God to make us worthy to be in the presence of God the Father and His Absolute perfection and holiness; making us worthy and capable of being redeemed to everlasting eternal life and happiness as children of God in heaven.
Take heed and open your eyes and minds to what is going on in this out of control evil infested world which is ruled by the unholy one Satan! Look at all of this deception, governments, media, entertainment industries all pushing clever or decadent lies and see how little time you have left taking all of this mayhem as your warning to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior who does love you beyond comprehension and wants nothing to go wrong in your personal salvation which is near at hand! So you only need to accept Him now into your heart giving all of your heart to Him alone in order to be saved from eternal damnation, where so many are going but don’t you be one of them; you can make it to heaven you only need to have faith in Jesus Christ and accept His gift of love to you but no wishy-washy half-truth or pretending that you accept His gift while you also try to satisfy the world living in the Ways of this Fallen World as your primary focus or false god; that is a dead-end no matter how much anyone dreams of it not being by some man-made falsehood! We and this world all must die forever separated from God and that is because Satan contaminated it with Death in the Garden of Eden!
There is no other answer believe me in this one thing, but most important please hurry and turn to Jesus Christ; I’m only a foot soldier and screaming out to anyone listening to not be fooled! Jesus Christ is going to save you from all harm and death just pray to Him to come into your heart now; He hears you and the Father in heaven will send you the Comforter the Holy Spirit to guide you with Jesus leading you with His right hand!
God Bless You!
When you defend My Word, you will be deemed to be cruel, unkind and lacking in sympathy to those who do not believe in God

My dearly beloved daughter, how I weep with sadness when I see the terrible division which looms within My Church on Earth. The bitterness of My Agony is eased though, by those who truly love Me and who already feel concern for the way in which My Body is being treated.
You must never feel the need to accept any deed, action or words which are against Me.If you feel uncomfortable with what you witness, within my Church, by those who swear that they are in union with Me, when they desecrate My Body, you must follow your heart.I Am with you every second of this great apostasy and for those who will…
Not much to say except that; DAMN STRAIGHT!!! Time for all FREE PEOPLES to RISE-UP AGAINST THE FASCIST EVIL GOVERNMENTS that are ramming down the throats of the “PEOPLE,” TOTALITARIAN OPPRESSION and JABS that are BIO-WEAPONS TO KILL!!!
DO YOU HEAR US YOU EVIL GLOBALIST OFFICIALS WHO OBEY YOUR ALMIGHTY BIG PHARMA AND SATAN! BACK THE FHUCK-OFF! OR BILLIONS OF WE PEOPLE WILL BE COMING FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU AND RESTORE JUSTICE FOR THE PEOPLE!!
Hannah Arendt beautifully explains; “Yes, there is a time when good men and women must stand up for what’s right, even when it involves risk, but that moment comes only after evil has already been well established and is powerfully on the move.”
“In the 20th century, however, the actions of such people led directly to the murders of 260 million people. And they did this precisely by avoiding decisions… by merely obeying. People think of murder, lying, and robbery as sins, but none of those has nearly the death toll of obedience.”
“And so, the vast majority of evil done on Earth traces back to minds and wills that have been abandoned to fear and laid on the Altar of Obedience.”
Even the basis of the of the ancient and modern version of the Hippocratic Oath requires basic conscience and highest ethical principles be applied in all medial care and or procedures being carried out by a physician!.
The Hippocratic Oath has been eclipsed as a document of professional ethics by more extensive, regularly updated ethical codes issued by national medical associations, such as the AMA Code of Medical Ethics (first adopted in 1847), and the British General Medical Council’s Good Medical Practice. These documents provide a comprehensive overview of the obligations and professional behaviour of a doctor to their patients and wider society. Doctors who violate these codes may be subjected to disciplinary proceedings, including the loss of their license to practice medicine. Nonetheless, the length of these documents has made their distillations into shorter oaths an attractive proposition. In light of this fact, several updates to the oath have been offered in modern times,[26][27] some facetious.[28]
The oath has been modified numerous times.
In the United States, the majority of osteopathic medical schools use the Osteopathic Oath in place of or in addition to the Hippocratic Oath. The Osteopathic Oath was first used in 1938, and the current version has been in use since 1954.[29]
One of the most significant revisions was first drafted in 1948 by the World Medical Association (WMA), called the Declaration of Geneva. “During the post World War II and immediately after its foundation, the WMA showed concern over the state of medical ethics in general and over the world. The WMA took up the responsibility for setting ethical guidelines for the world’s physicians. It noted that in those years the custom of medical schools to administer an oath to its doctors upon graduation or receiving a license to practice medicine had fallen into disuse or become a mere formality”.[30] In Germany during the Third Reich, medical students did not take the Hippocratic Oath, although they knew the ethic of “nil nocere”—do no harm.[31]
In the 1960s, the Hippocratic Oath was changed to require “utmost respect for human life from its beginning”, making it a more secular obligation, not to be taken in the presence of any gods, but before only other people. When the oath was rewritten in 1964 by Louis Lasagna, Academic Dean of the School of Medicine at Tufts University, the prayer was omitted, and that version has been widely accepted and is still in use today by many US medical schools:[32]
I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:
I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.
I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures [that] are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.
I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon’s knife or the chemist’s drug.
I will not be ashamed to say “I know not”, nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient’s recovery.
I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.
I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person’s family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.
I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.
I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.
If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.

I said this back in early 2020, Pandemic to Pandemonium! I didn’t know enough of the particulars, how could I, but I knew even at the start things were not adding up and evil was in play Big Time especially with China and the WHO so directly involved with evil Fauci! And China was looking to reverse any of the good that happened here in America when Trump was elected! I had found factual documentation that Comrade General Chi Haotian of China’s Military had said as far back as 2001 that China would defeat and takeover America with Bio-Weapons which they are feverishly working on; that Chinese Commie Bastard said that right out!
Then I found almost immediately some doctors around the globe who were saying what I was thinking and backing it up with their knowledge and wisdom! This whole thing is a fucking war and it’s been planned to kill us all off if possible but we will not allow it! We the People have to put it all on the line and go after them; all of the tyrants, and put them to death just like in the times of Brave Heart when William Wallace and the Citizenry went head to head with Long Shanks and his British Army of minions! Or the French Revolution when they torn the government rulers a new one; putting them to death!
The people can do it again but they have to realize it’s going to be a bloody war and it’s do or die time anyway, they the bastards from hell have already proven they plan to kill us all!
Listen and watch this very sad and massive wake-up call to all Citizens On the Planet!

PEI, Canadian Mom speaks out against vaccine mandates for children. I think the rest of the world can relate to this woman. I know I certainly can. This is the only one I found with a short speech. She says it all. No child needs these dangerous vaccines. Remember there is over a 99 percent recovery rate. Odds of dieing of so called covid is very small. That is if you think covid is a real thing. It has not been isolated.

As I see it reality may be biting; many of us have the struggle of wondering what I should really do with my life or even do about this or that with the world going off the rails as it is! Can we really make a difference and actually change the overall trajectory of what is heading in a very bad direction? Sort of like a locomotive that has no brakes with miles of box cars behind it that we’re riding on as its hauling ass down the tracks heading toward an inevitable train wreck just down the line!
What I can say is if each person was really just doing what they are supposed to be doing in this world that God created for His plan and purpose; then the world would be a much better place, but most people these days are not and will never change themselves enough to do the best and right thing; let alone change the world for the better!
The act of procrastination is defined by the dictionary as the tendency to procrastinate until the power struggle solves it out.
For a long time, I’ve wanted to go back to writing. I kept pushing this impulse and telling myself that it was OK and that I will return to writing shortly. Tomorrow became next weekend, next weekend became the following week, and so on.
Throughout this time, I began writing and deleting, writing and deleting, without ever uploading anything. I’ve been having these dark thoughts and kept telling myself, “What if they don’t like what I say? What if I’m being unfairly criticized for my actions?”
I continued postponing and running away from what I wanted, looking for excuses and telling myself that I needed to accomplish this first, then that. I basically lied to myself and became lost in a pile of excuses running in circles. At the…
Enter the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road is spacious which leads to destruction, and many are those who are going in it. Matthew 7:13
John 14:26-28 “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you. 27Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled; do not be afraid. 28You heard Me say, ‘I am going away, and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I.”
Our true comfort comes not by the Ways of this fallen world and its many deceptions and lies being ruled by Satan, that today are rampant beyond imagination as the gates of hell have opened wide while the Devil has his hour!
But our only assurance and hope is provided instead by having total genuine faith and trust in the absolute truth that our Father in heaven having sent the Son Jesus Christ who suffered more than we actually can begin to comprehend, though many are deluded and mesmerized enough by the world or their own ego to think they have a handle on it; but they do not!
So we must: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Many are living in unnecessary sin and folly that they can stop but only continue, which pleases only the Devil thinking they have their heads wrapped around it all and Jesus did all of the heavy lifting or work, and therefore “can have their cake and eat it too!” The only problem with that is they are deceivers of first self and then others as well; living Lukewarm!
Matthew 16:23-25 “23But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” 24Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. 25For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it”
Look around you and see with eyes of Truth by means of the Holy Spirit and you know that too many are fakers and takers living in their own self-glory and not willing to put it all on the line for Jesus Christ just as He did for all those who will believe and love Him living in accordance with the Father’s will not any self-styled preconceived notion of what that is! I assure you far too many in this world are going to hell; many who even think they shouldn’t! So be vigilant and watch your step each and every one if you can; as the snares of the Devil are set all around us!
Philippians 2:11-13 “11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.”
Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Romans 12:1-3 “1Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. 3For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but think of yourself with sober judgment, according to the measure of faith God has given you.”
John 12:43 “For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.”
Revelation 1:1-20 “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near. John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood.”
2 Chronicles 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”
Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?”
Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”
2 Corinthians 5:8 “Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
There is nothing more emptying than feeling alone. Life can get hard , and our feelings can easily overwhelm our faith. It is in these moments, when you’re certain you’ve been abandoned and you need help, but there is none, that you must run to God and consumed by His word. His voice, speaking through His promises, will assure you that you are not alone. His voice will comfort you and give you peace. Though the world may forsake you, He never will. God ‘s love for you will never fail , so run to His grace can embrace you.
