I’ve had an epiphany directly as a result of that tragic sad event of Liza Fletcher’s demise and her to me what appeared so exponentially unfair of course for her but also her loving family along with all of her precious students at Saint Mary’s School.  But now I see clearly her suffering which was not in vain and even the subsequent loss to this world of such “a bright lamp of encouragement and hope shines on;” in her own words, “Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine. Shine it all over St. Mary’s school. I’m gonna let it shine,” that are shining far beyond where they ever could have otherwise; touching the hearts of multitudes now, showing the world that goodness always triumphs and overcomes all darkness!  I added in a posting this week the video that appeared in the news where she was reaching out to her students and sang that little song about let my lamp shine, which broke my heart seeing all of her love which was interrupted by no a man but a vile creature; and yes we learn that actual evil destroys itself always!

Just prior to this sad news of her passing I’ve been troubled, perplexed and even distraught at what I witness in this world with so much vulgar, disrespectful and rampant debauchery going on by multitudes of humans who live a lie lately in this paradoxically extremely troubled time.

She was a distance runner who “really went the distance” and actually “made a difference” for so many!  This is giving and the price of being Saintly; selflessness, carry that cross!

But a couple of things were brought to my attention immediately after my meeting an outstanding fine young man who happens to be a law enforcement officer that I had the opportunity to have a great and inspiring conversation with while out taking care of some business and he happened to be off duty which allowed us to actually get acquainted! Turns out we share the same ideas and perspective on many important issues, including our faith in God.

The timing of this meeting was not mere chance along with a few others things coming into my view which started with my suddenly noticing as I played an old Big Band Glenn Miller Classic “Chattanooga Choo Choo” online I saw a thumbnail photo with a description regarding a telecast that the Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen spoke about why God allows suffering.  And I admit I’ve thought over the years about that question and had realized some of the answer to that profound question, but, the Archbishop most beautifully put it all into proper perspective for me. As I think of it now this moment, I admit that the ugly underbelly of sin and hate have always done horrific damage causing unthinkable pain and loss for so many good souls that often times had to endure it all or even suffer a horrible death. But Archbishop Sheen helped me to crystalize what is actually going on in this spiritual battle between Good and Evil, between Right and Wrong which must continue to God’s appointed End Time; all because He loves us so much!  You see, I was thinking how all of this sin and debauchery is so over the top and nasty now that it really gets to me at times and I cry.  But I also see how even though human beings are capable of such horrible ugliness and rot we people of God are also so very capable of the most beautiful heroic, compassionate and loving acts of great beauty and grace that when I see it like this example with Liza and so many other instances I again must cry, but, this time it is totally tears of joy and deep happiness!

Yes some people disgrace, pull down and try to destroy humanity but some others are always there hoisting it up steadfastly lifting on high with the angels all the love and good it has to offer into the bosom of God!

You surely have seen my train of thought and from where it springs forth; and now this should blow your mind in a manner of speaking to watch this short video clip of Archbishop Fulton Sheen speaking to “this very subject and time we are now living in” well over 50 years ago; prophesy unfolding!

Don’t you see how God having made us in His image and likeness in doing so has placed that power and key to eternal bliss within us so that we might inherit and share in that absolute eternal beauty and love with Him! So He allows things to unfold to a point, that final point, when He knows and only he knows that everything will have reached that “final fulfillment of His plan” because “He loves us so much” multitudes are given the opportunity to make it to His eternal kingdom; “He Saves all those who will truly come to Him with humility and love!”

I hope and pray you have the time for all of this and can now watch this additional video clip that I just saw immediately as I was copying the link above of Abp. Fulton Sheen to insert in the text.  This is even timely because this following video of about 12 minutes in length is helpful at the root of my own personal dilemma lately, but, I know it to be crucial to anyone who is faithful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ following the will of our Father in Heaven!

Now then, to bring things in full circle and like tying a knot on a most beautiful bow upon a precious gift I happened to meet a most precious, charming and truly inspiring woman in the grocery market early yesterday evening who is an elementary school teacher, even remarkably so much in her manner and way like Liza, a dear wife, as well a precious mother of her own young children. The conversation we had was a gift from God and we were both so amazed, inspired and thankful with heartfelt humility that God made sure we had that chance to talk to each other; because it did so much good for the both of us at a precise moment that God chose and now it can be shared with great good effect to others like my connecting all of these amazing dots here in my thoughts and writing, that align perfectly with God’s plan; which is a work, as I see it a work in progress; just like a great artist’s masterpiece as it forms!  We actually got right into the subject that’s been on my mind and weighing heavy on my heart! Take courage and heart as Scripture says and do not be afraid!

This precious woman and me did say that the children have just gone through an extremely strange and trying period but they are resilient and are with many of us adults on the upswing to more enlightenment and the positive changes that God required of His faithful! Amazingly I’m up after midnight writing this because just a couple of hours ago that fine law enforcement officer I befriended had called me back after my trying to reach out to him a couple of times since we met and though he works the 3^rd shift and so was calling late in the day, which I had in my previous message said or suggested to call any time of day or night; this timing couldn’t have been better because though we could only have a very brief conversation while he was working it helped me to get motivated to stay up and write, and most of my best writing always seems to come in the wee hours of the morning, even if I’m tired and want to sleep; the time-frame is more spiritual for me when much of the world around me is quiet and sleeping as I head to a quarter to 4am!

This is to you Liza! Chattanooga Choo Choo there you are!         A Stellar Ending!

But all of what I just said ties perfectly into another gift that came my way early in the evening after I met the school teacher and was about to turn in for the evening, I saw an email message just came in from a very admirable and fine individual from his site that jumps right into the heart of the matter of what has happened to the world and we human beings over the last few years, and puts all of what I’ve written here into this “fantastic brave outlook” that “God wants for us,” so that we can “hang on and never quit or be defeated;” because I know deep in my heart and soul we are going to make it to the “Promised Land!”  “There is nothing to fear but fear itself” and darkness and evil are weak, already defeated, so it’s really just all of this material world having to catch up with “God’s Truth and Absolute Perfection” which includes “total unshakable love for His own” and he absolutely knows who each one is, so none of His truly chosen and loving children will perish; “the time-span we are now part of must catch up and be part of the timeless; the omnipotent, all-knowing God Almighty!”  Thus to “be in paradise!”

Reaching beyond the stars to the Promised Land where hope forever meets fulfillment!

So I had to jump to it and respond to a fine blog posting this morning and after doing so this particular article from a top notch Catholic News Provider had been sitting in my inbox as a flagged for a must respond by the weekend, and lo and behold it speaks directly to the main point of my initial posting today, “Of Monkeys, Volcanos and Forests.”

What drives my speech in that posting and to be frank in much of my writing lately or conversation with folks directly is the issue of the denigration of humanity and the ebbing away or disintegration of much of modern mankind’s worthy and even as with “the building of America, sanctified by heaven and God Himself;” those past noble accomplishments to produce some great good in this fallen world! Think for a moment what if we could bring any of the forefathers of America back to this plane of existence and have them spend some time looking over what is going on with this mixed up world and especially in the hearts of men; so that they could then tell us plainly what they see and I can with absolute unequivocal certainty state that they would be heartbroken knowing that we are a very weak facsimile or imitation of what they were when on this earth, but, most rendering would be the obvious fact that we are so damned by our actions, behaviors and most telling our lack of Godliness.  It would be immediately apparent to them that we have slipped into a psychosis of madness and are burdened with a secular mindset incorporated with all manner of paganism and debauchery running the gambit and now so rampant throughout the human race! I will give just one example but there are multitudes! We now see how even those that profess to be Christians and possess love of God Almighty, are anything but genuine believers and advocates of the faith by this clear cut example!

This is why America is so screwed up now because over the last several decades and especially since the former Obama administration yanked America into the zone of debauchery like no other administration ever did or could have!  While this was going on there were so many nefarious plans being designed to ruin America and human life in general with all of the worst  twisted and demented ideas that human beings have ever come up with and now under this totally Satanic administration being directly fueled and spurred on by Satan himself through “America’s Own Man of Perdition,” Biden, who is as evil as any human being has ever been on God’s earth; by his being the puppet POTUS for the far left and Satan now facilitating all the worst despicable ideas that are being rammed through the legislature by a completely diabolically run Congress!  And of course this is all happening because we the entire human race is ever so close, to the falling into the precipice, and the actual End Time being upon us!

Mother Miriam slams Republicans supporting homosexual ‘marriage’: ‘You have betrayed your people’

(LifeSiteNews) – Popular Catholic apologist Mother Miriam blasted Democrats’ same-sex “marriage” bill and its Republican supporters, who she said have “turned against God” and betrayed their voters.

On Wednesday’s episode of Mother Miriam Live!, the fiery Benedictine nun warned listeners about the so-called “Respect for Marriage Act” (RFMA), which would enshrine homosexual “marriage” into federal law and make it virtually impossible to undo the Supreme Court’s disastrous redefinition of marriage.

Mother Miriam called the bill “so evil” and “deceitful” and noted that it would not only codify same-sex “marriage” but would also require the federal government to grant legal recognition to polygamous marriages if a state recognizes them and open the door to new attacks on religious liberty.

“Who wouldn’t want respect for marriage? But they’ve thrown everything in there that is not marriage and that is absolutely sinful,” she said. “It is not respect for marriages, it’s the murder of marriage. It’s the destruction of marriage.”

“We must tell Republican senators to oppose the Democrats’ radical same-sex ‘marriage’ bill,” Mother Miriam stressed, calling on listeners to sign LifeSite’s petition urging Republicans to defeat the RFMA when it comes before the Senate.

The Respect for Marriage Act passed the House this summer with an unexpected 47 Republican votes, and Democrats are now hopeful that the bill will win enough Republican support to pass the Senate and give Joe Biden his first major legislative victory on LGBT issues. Democrats need 10 GOP defections to overcome the Senate filibuster.

So far, four Republicans senators (Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Rob Portman of Ohio, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska) have signaled their likely support for the bill, and several more are reportedly undecided. Wisconsin Republican Sen. Ron Johnson initially said he saw “no reason to oppose” it but has since backpedaled on his apparent endorsement amid grassroots backlash.

Pro-LGBT Republicans are committing ‘an utter betrayal’

Mother Miriam had stark words for the Republicans helping Democrats to pass the Respect for Marriage Act: “They have turned against the family. They have turned against God. They have turned against their own Constitution,” she said, slamming their support for the bill as “an utter betrayal.”

“I tell you, all of you Republicans, all of you who have allied yourself with a party that believes in God and the Constitution, you have betrayed your people and you have turned from God, and your eternity is at stake,” she continued. “Hell will be filled with people who have voted for the Respect for Marriage Act and who live its freedoms, so to speak.”

Polling shows broad disapproval of the RFMA among Republican voters, with at least 50 percent opposing it, including nearly 40 percent who strongly oppose it, and only around one-third in favor, according to a new Politico/Morning Consult survey.

And while some Republicans have quietly weakened on same-sex “marriage” in recent years, Mother Miriam noted that the Christian principles underlying America’s traditional understanding of marriage haven’t changed.

“There’s no such thing as homosexual ‘marriage,’” she explained. “Marriage is God’s design, not man’s, and it is one man and one woman. End of story.”

Mother Miriam pushed more Republican senators to speak out in favor of biblical marriage and condemn the Respect for Marriage Act. Remaining silent, she said, “is equally evil” as supporting it.

“The only thing for evil to prevail is for good men to remain silent,” the nun said. “To remain silent, dear senators, is equally evil. To vote for it is evil, to remain silent is evil, because it’s a vote for evil if you remain silent.”

Democratic Sen. Tammy Baldwin, an open lesbian and the lead sponsor of the RFMA in the Senate, announced Thursday that senators will postpone a vote until after the midterms but said she remains “very confident that the bill will pass.”

Along with Mother Miriam, other faithful Catholic leaders have strongly denounced the Respect for Marriage Act, with Bishop Joseph Strickland warning that the legislation “places us in great peril.”

“It is in truth a blatant denial of God’s plan for humanity & places us in great peril,” the Texas bishop tweeted last month. “All who love God & seek to live His Commandments must go on record opposing this travesty & denial of God’s Law.”

But now here from our present position of knowing what has already transpired over the last few years, there should be no doubt that the truly diabolical are at work paving the way for these greater holocausts to come!  Yet we have this man of the cloth renowned Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano who is dedicating every waking moment of his life to resisting all of this abhorrent evil, and I mean devoted to serving our Father in heaven through Jesus Christ by His glorious example of selflessness and love! How many of us can begin to come close to this level of sacrifice and loss of self for the higher purposes of God Almighty!  As I see it I’m merely scratching the surface and trying to find my way to do God’s will even more!

For this Italian prelate, the vaccine is a tool of the globalist ideology which is “anti-human, anti-religious, and antichristic.”

Viganò sees that “abortion is proposed by the Satanists as a true and proper religious rite,” arguing that in this Satanic world view, through an abortion-tainted vaccine, one becomes a member of the Satanic anti-church. What Did Jesus Mean by “The Way, the Truth, and the Life” in John 14?

‘I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life’

There are many religions that break the first commandment of God! There are those pagan beliefs and many cults; some even proclaim to be Christian yet they think they are the only true Christian Church on earth, but, the truth is they are liars and have tampered with God’s word. Then they go on to even deny the Trinity, the deity of Christ, the personhood of the Holy Spirit, Jesus’ physical resurrection, and salvation by grace through faith; which is what Jesus clearly taught us 2000 years ago; and it’s all in the Bible, God’s absolute truth!

John 14:5-7 “5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?” 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[a] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. 26And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit

John 14:15-30  Here this Scripture points out the actual manifestation of the Trinity as the three separate persons cooperate within and as one living Deity of the Godhead by His absolute will!

“For it was by God’s own decision that the Son has in himself the full nature of God.” Colossians 1:19

15 “If you love me, keep my commands.”

16 “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever”

He carried and died on His cross, humanities cross, so that we can surely live, not here but eternally in heaven with the Holy Trinity; Father Son Holy Spirit.

America’s Man of Perdition

The false excuse

Joe Biden claimed that he pressured Ukrainian officials to fire the nation’s chief prosecutor because the prosecutor was “backsliding” on “corruption.” This excuse has been widely echoed by the media, who allege that the chief prosecutor was not even investigating the oligarch who was enriching Hunter.

Those claims are belied by the facts that the:

• the Prosecutor General’s Office obtained a court order to seize property of the oligarch, including his land, houses, and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
• Burisma’s email to Hunter and his partners specifically identified the “Prosecutor General” as one of the “key targets” that “top US officials” should convince to “close down” all “cases/pursuits against” the oligarch.
• the Prosecutor General, whose name was Viktor Shokin, signed a sworn affidavit stating:
  • “The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors.”
  • The president of Ukraine “was emphatic that I should cease my investigations regarding Burisma. When I did not, he said that the US (via Biden) were refusing to release the USD $1 billion promised to Ukraine. He said that he had no choice, therefore, but to ask me to resign.”
• the new Prosecutor General, who Biden praised as “solid,” did not prosecute anyone of note during his three-year tenure.

One of the more outlandish falsehoods about this affair comes from the Washington Post’s lead “Fact Checker,” Glenn Kessler. As alleged evidence that Prosecutor Shokin “was not investigating” the oligarch who was paying Hunter, Kessler claims:

In September 2015, then-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt publicly criticized Shokin’s office for thwarting a British money-laundering probe into Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky.

In reality, the U.S. ambassador was not criticizing Shokin but his predecessor, Vitaliy Yarema. This is proven by the fact that the British money laundering probe cited by the ambassador ended on January 21, 2015, and Shokin was not appointed chief prosecutor until the next month in February 2015.

But, by no means does this fact preclude anyone who is a lesser degree of the same deceitful heart from being on the path to perdition and destruction!  Liars, cheats, swindlers, deceivers, drunkard fools, prideful, arrogant, traitors and all ungodly persons come in all stripes, shapes and sizes; because “its the intrinsic character flaw of heart” that is the nail in their coffins that seals the deal!

Matthew 6:21 “Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.”

Mark 7:20-21 He continued: “What comes out of a man, that is what defiles him. 21For from within the hearts of men come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22greed, wickedness, deceit, debauchery, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness.”

This current time you and I live in is the most treacherous and wicked of any preceding times where the willful rebellion against God Almighty and the rejection of Jesus Christ while worshiping self and many false gods has never been this calamitous!  People are so busy getting full of themselves and playing little ego games of foolishness and self-importance; thinking they are doing something worthwhile when it is nothing but vapor and stupidity!

Documentation of this illegal scheme begins with a widely overlooked email on Hunter’s laptop in which a top executive of the Ukrainian firm describes the plan. Now, emails uncovered by Just Facts prove that Hunter and his partners:

• explicitly agreed to this deal.
• concealed the names of top U.S. officials to “be on the safe and cautious side.”
• affirmed that only Hunter could credibly promise to get those officials to shield the oligarch from criminal charges.

Just one month later, then-Vice President Joe Biden did exactly what those emails specified by visiting Ukraine and threatening to withhold U.S. aid unless the prosecutor investigating Hunter’s cash cow was fired. Moreover, Biden did this by going after two “key targets” identified in the emails: the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General.”

The Background

In April 2014, Vice President Biden traveled to Ukraine and gave a speech to its legislators in which he promised that the U.S. would help Ukraine increase its fossil fuel production to make it less dependent on Russian energy. In that very same month:

• the largest private natural gas producer in Ukraine, a company named Burisma, appointed Joe Biden’s son Robert “Hunter” Biden and his business partner to the company’s board.
• the primary owner of the natural gas company—a corrupt oligarch named Nikolai Zlochevskyi who had financial and political ties to Russia—personally approved Hunter’s hiring.
• Burisma began making a series of payments totaling at least $3.3 million over the next 18 months to a Delaware corporation, which paid $708,312.40 directly to Hunter and $2.5 million to entities associated with Hunter.
• the oligarch’s London bank accounts were seized by British officials in a money laundering investigation.

Nearly a year later in February 2015, the U.S. State Department and the FBI learned that Zlochevskyi allegedly bribed Ukrainian prosecutors to shut down criminal investigations of him. Thus, the government of Ukraine replaced the chief prosecutor with a new one who reopened investigations into the oligarch. At this time, Burisma was paying $166,666.66 per month to the Delaware company that was paying Hunter.

The ‘ultimate purpose’

In November 2015, a top executive of Burisma named Vadym Pozharskyi wrote an email to Hunter and his partners in which he:

• criticized a proposal they sent to him because it was “lacking concrete tangible results that we set out to achieve in the first place” and did not “offer any names of top US officials” or “Ukrainian officials” to help the company’s owner (“Nikolay”) improve “his situation in Ukraine.”
• stated that if they left these names out of their proposal “to be on the safe and cautious side, I can understand the rationale.”
• instructed them to “proceed immediately” with enlisting “high-ranking US officials” to “visit” Ukraine and persuade “the highest level of decision makers” to “close down” all “cases/pursuits against” the owner.
• identified the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General” as two of the “key targets.”
• repeatedly reminded them that closing down these cases was the “true purpose” and the “ultimate purpose” of their “engagement” with Burisma and “all our joint efforts.”

Despite the shocking nature of Burisma’s email, which was first revealed by Tucker Carlson of Fox News in October 2020, no other major news outlet has reported on it.

Just Facts, a research and educational institute, has now uncovered Hunter and his partners’ replies to that email among the 100,000+ emails on Hunter’s laptop. They show beyond all doubt that Hunter and his partners agreed to this deal, which Joe Biden followed to a tee.

‘Hunter, you need to deliver that message.’

Immediately after the Burisma executive laid out what was expected of them, Hunter and his partners sent a flurry of emails stating that Hunter needed to tell Burisma that they understood the true purpose of the deal and “deliberately” concealed the names of the officials who would carry it out to “be on the safe and cautious side.” Hunter then emailed Burisma that they understood the job and could get it done.

Here are some of the key excerpts:

• Eric Schwerin to Devon Archer and Hunter Biden (11/2/15): “I would tell Vadym that this is definitely done deliberately to the be on the safe and cautious side and that Sally and company understand the scope and deliverables.”
• Devon Archer to Eric Schwerin and Hunter Biden (11/2/15): “Hunter, You need to deliver that message. I have walked this to the finish (aka starting) line but need some support to close.”
• Eric Schwerin to Hunter Biden (11/2/15): “Do you want me to draft something for you to email to Vadym from you?”
• Hunter Biden to Vadym Pozharskyi, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin (11/3/15): “Vadym– Let me have one final call with them and verify once more that they understand the scope so we can all feel that the retainer is in line with the work required.”
• Vadym Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin (11/3/15): “Thank you Hunter! And of course, if you and Devon feel comfortable that they will deliver what in real terms we are talking about, we should disregard the wording of the scope and move further with signing and starting actual work.”
• Hunter Biden to Vadym Pozharskyi, Devon Archer, and Eric Schwerin (11/5/15): “Vadym, Devon and I do feel comfortable with BS and the ability of Sally & Karen to deliver. You should go ahead and sign. Looking forward to getting started on this.”

In combination with the email from Burisma, these emails leave no doubt that Hunter promised to get “top US officials” to “visit” Ukraine and persuade the nation’s leaders to “close down” all criminal “cases/pursuits against” Burisma’s owner. Furthermore, the emails prove that two of their “key targets” were the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General.”

Joe Biden’s actions

One month after the emails above were exchanged, Joe Biden did exactly what they specified.

In December 2015, Biden visited Ukraine and later recounted on video that he told Ukraine’s president and its prime minister on that trip that he would withhold a U.S. government “billion-dollar loan guarantee” unless they fired the “state prosecutor.” “If the prosecutor is not fired,” warned Biden, “you’re not getting the money.” Biden then added, “Well, son of a bitch, he got fired.”

However, that firing did not happen right away, and two months later on February 2, 2016, the chief prosecutor secured a court order to seize some properties of the oligarch who was paying Hunter, including his land, houses, and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Just two weeks after the court’s seizure order, the president of Ukraine forced the prosecutor to resign. White House phone logs show that Joe Biden talked to the president of Ukraine at least three times in the week surrounding the firing. The phone log for the last of these calls states, “The Vice President also commended President Poroshenko’s decision to replace Prosecutor General Shokin, which paves the way for needed reform of the prosecutorial service.”

Contrary to Biden’s claim that the prosecutor stood in the way of reform, the president of Ukraine complimented the prosecutor for implementing reforms that his predecessors had “been opposing for decades” and then listed the specific reforms. The president then said that he only asked the prosecutor to resign because he “failed to gain society’s trust.”

Two months later in May 2016, Ukraine’s parliament approved the president’s appointee for a new chief prosecutor, who Biden described as “solid.” This new prosecutor, named Yuriy Lutsenko, was:

• the best man of Petro Poroshenko, the president who appointed him.
• sentenced to prison in 2012 for embezzlement and abuse of office.
• convicted in a separate 2012 case for illegal surveillance.
• pardoned by the previous president and released from jail in 2013.
• was forced to resign by Volodymyr Zelensky (the current president of Ukraine) for failing to prosecute anyone of note during his three-year tenure.

Six months after Biden’s “solid” prosecutor was appointed, he dropped all criminal charges against the oligarch. The prosecutor also applauded the settlement as a “success” because the oligarch paid $7.46 million in back taxes and penalties. Far from being a prosecutorial victory, the oligarch praised these outcomes and stated that they would allow his corporation to increase production and “attract international companies to Ukraine.”

Two weeks later on November 16, 2016, Burisma made its last documented payment to Hunter. In addition to the recent closure of all criminal cases against the oligarch, Donald Trump had just won an upset victory in the U.S. presidential election. This left Joe Biden incapable of using U.S. taxpayer funds to influence Ukrainian officials.

Joe Biden’s involvement in Hunter’s illicit business deals is also evidenced by a 2017 encrypted What’s App message uncovered by the New York Post. In it, one of Hunter’s business partners wrote to another partner while discussing Joe Biden, “Don’t mention Joe being involved, it’s only when u are face to face, I know u know that but they are paranoid.”

The false excuse

Joe Biden claimed that he pressured Ukrainian officials to fire the nation’s chief prosecutor because the prosecutor was “backsliding” on “corruption.” This excuse has been widely echoed by the media, who allege that the chief prosecutor was not even investigating the oligarch who was enriching Hunter.

Those claims are belied by the facts that the:

• the Prosecutor General’s Office obtained a court order to seize property of the oligarch, including his land, houses, and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
• Burisma’s email to Hunter and his partners specifically identified the “Prosecutor General” as one of the “key targets” that “top US officials” should convince to “close down” all “cases/pursuits against” the oligarch.
• the Prosecutor General, whose name was Viktor Shokin, signed a sworn affidavit stating:
  • “The truth is that I was forced out because I was leading a wide-ranging corruption probe into Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm active in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was a member of the Board of Directors.”
  • The president of Ukraine “was emphatic that I should cease my investigations regarding Burisma. When I did not, he said that the US (via Biden) were refusing to release the USD $1 billion promised to Ukraine. He said that he had no choice, therefore, but to ask me to resign.”
• the new Prosecutor General, who Biden praised as “solid,” did not prosecute anyone of note during his three-year tenure.

One of the more outlandish falsehoods about this affair comes from the Washington Post’s lead “Fact Checker,” Glenn Kessler. As alleged evidence that Prosecutor Shokin “was not investigating” the oligarch who was paying Hunter, Kessler claims:

In September 2015, then-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt publicly criticized Shokin’s office for thwarting a British money-laundering probe into Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky.

In reality, the U.S. ambassador was not criticizing Shokin but his predecessor, Vitaliy Yarema. This is proven by the fact that the British money laundering probe cited by the ambassador ended on January 21, 2015, and Shokin was not appointed chief prosecutor until the next month in February 2015.

The London Guardian, the Financial Times, and the New York Times all reported that the probe ended in January, raising the question of how Kessler could honestly botch this fact.

In a related article, Kessler scales up the rhetoric and claims that the ambassador “blasted Shokin for ‘openly and aggressively undermining reform’ and having ‘undermined prosecutors working on legitimate corruption cases’.” However, the ambassador stated that “corrupt actors within the Prosecutor General’s office” did this, not Shokin.

Furthermore, in the very same speech that Kessler misquoted twice, the ambassador began speaking about the present and said, “We want to work with Prosecutor General Shokin” and help him lead “the fight against corruption.” This further demonstrates that the ambassador was not castigating Shokin and wanted to partner with him.

Twitter, in turn, invoked Kessler’s bogus fact check to insist that the “prosecutor was not investigating Burisma at that time.”

Like Kessler, articles by CNN and Bloomberg take the ambassador’s words out of context to make it seem like he was lambasting Shokin instead of his predecessor.

In contrast to those false reports—court records, first-hand sworn testimony, and a smoking gun email from Burisma show that Shokin was aggressively pursuing the oligarch when Joe Biden forced his firing.

Keeping people in the dark

Beyond denying the fact that the prosecutor was cracking down on Hunter’s cash cow, a wide array of journalists, government officials, and big tech executives kept the public in the dark about this and related matters. This was especially the case just before the 2020 presidential election.

Just a few of the many examples include the following:

• In July 2021, Politico reported that the Department of Justice (DOJ) delayed an investigation into Hunter Biden’s laptop “to avoid taking any actions that could alert the public to the existence of the case in the middle of a presidential election.”
• In October 2020, Twitter locked the New York Post’s account for reporting on Hunter’s laptop and pinned a post to the top of Twitter’s home page claiming that Joe Biden “played no role in pressuring Ukraine officials into firing the prosecutor,” a statement flatly disproven by the words of Biden himself.
• Multiple whistleblowers within the FBI have stated that officials in the FBI and DOJ used a deceitful assessment of Hunter’s laptop to “improperly discredit and falsely claim that derogatory information about Biden’s activities was disinformation, causing investigative activity and sourcing to be shut down.”
• In October 2020, NPR managing editor Terence Samuels Public Editor wrote that NPR is not reporting on the NY Post’s expose of Hunter Biden’s laptop because “we don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions.”
• In October 2020, Facebook executive Andy Stone wrote, “While I will intentionally not link to the New York Post, I want be clear that this story is eligible to be fact checked by Facebook’s third-party fact checking partners. In the meantime, we are reducing its distribution on our platform.”
• In October 2020, a group of former government intelligence officials led by James Clapper (Obama’s Director of National Intelligence) alleged without evidence that the contents of Hunter’s laptop could be or definitely are Russian “information,” while admitting that “we do not have evidence of Russian involvement—just that our experience makes us deeply suspicious that the Russian government played a significant role in this case.”
• Major media outlets and so-called fact checkers widely parroted that baseless claim while changing the phrase “Russian information” to “Russian disinformation” and failing to report that:
  • the same group of Obama officials who made that accusation also alleged that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 election, a charge disproven by a 2-year, $32 million investigation by an independent counsel which “did not establish” or “identify evidence” that the “Trump Campaign” or “any U.S. persons” “conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
  • the DOJ Inspector General (an Obama appointee) “identified at least 17 significant errors or omissions” in warrant applications that Obama’s officials used to surveil the Trump campaign and added that he “did not receive satisfactory explanations” for these misleading warrant applications.
• In October 2020, Leslie Stahl of CBS’s 60 Minutes insisted that the contents of Hunter’s laptop “can’t be verified,” even though 60 Minutes brags that it conducts “hard-hitting investigative” journalism. Demonstrating the absurdity of that claim:
  • the recipient of one of the most incriminating emails on the laptop verified that same month that he was “the recipient of the email” and the “email is genuine.”
  • the NY Post pointed out that they published an array of pictures and emails from the laptop with “an extraordinary level of detail” that supports their authenticity, such as a picture of Hunter in a bathtub and a picture of a Biden family meal, along with emails to friends and family all bearing dates and times.
  • the New York Times slipped this statement about Hunter’s laptop into the 24th paragraph of an article published 18 months after the 2020 election: “The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.”
  • CNN reported 18 months after the 2020 election, “We know the FBI has possession” of Hunter’s laptop, and “they believe it is his laptop—that the contents of it are his.”
  • the Washington Examiner commissioned a forensic examination of Hunter Biden’s hard drive which found its contents are “indisputably authentic, and there is no evidence of any hacking or file manipulation, according to an examination conducted by a former Secret Service agent who has testified as a cyberforensics expert in over 100 classified, criminal, and civil matters at the state, federal, and international levels.”

This tidal wave of misinformation and censorship by media outlets, government officials, and big tech significantly boosted Joe Biden’s odds of winning the presidency. The effect was estimated by a November 2020 online survey of Biden voters in swing states commissioned by the Media Research Center and conducted by the Polling Company. It found that 45% of Biden voters “were unaware of the financial scandal enveloping Biden and his son” and that:

full awareness of the Hunter Biden scandal would have led 9.4% of Biden voters to abandon the Democratic candidate, flipping all six of the swing states he won to Trump, giving the President 311 electoral votes.

Summary

The emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop, combined with Joe Biden’s own words and actions, prove beyond all doubt that:

• The “ultimate purpose” of Hunter Biden’s multi-million deal with Burisma was to “close down” all criminal “cases/pursuits against” the firm’s owner.
• In November 2015, Hunter agreed to get “high-ranking US officials” to visit Ukraine and persuade the nation’s leaders to end all investigations into the owner. Two “key targets” of this mission were the “President of Ukraine” and the “Prosecutor General.”
• In December 2015, Joe Biden visited Ukraine and told its president and prime minister that he would withhold U.S. aid to their nation unless they fired the prosecutor general.

Those actions, which are complemented by a wealth of incriminating facts, align with textbook definitions of nepotism, bribery, extortion, and obstruction of justice.

Yet, major media outlets, big tech companies, fact checkers, former U.S. intelligence officials, and active government officials within the FBI and Department of Justice played major roles in keeping this information from the American people.
