Kennicott is obviously an idiot and a very disturbed man who thinks all things in America must fall into a tight little package of his conceptualization of what a Utopic Land of “Great Freedom, Progress, Prosperity and Virtue” should look like; perhaps with Statues of Him or better yet none, just a sterile place with “no monuments commemorating anything” in fear of insulting some moron like him! Sorry Kennicott, we and the Forefather’s didn’t know you would be here in the land of plenty, that they truly suffered to establish and build; all these years later, after its struggling birth and then ability to become the most industrious and prosperous land with the newest and best innovations in the world BAR NONE, attracting some of the greatest minds like Einstein and not the current gutter rats, drug cartels and human trafficker’s that have ever existed on the planet to spread their filth, slime and death all over the good; attracting more abject poverty and destruction and human failure!
But, I sure don’t see you ranting about all those lowdown criminals being flushed into America from the South Border mixed in among some destitute people looking for any freebees they can grab, because of Biden and his “Leftist Gone Wild Agenda;” I guess all those negatives just bypassed your acute attention to failure and disappointing, disgusting human trash; as you and they apparently “don’t give a rat’s” ass about all the lives lost and sacrificed by those who made it possible that “you could park your sorry useless ass” in such a “FREE ZONE” in the world, and get to spew all of your moronic vitriol, just to gain some cheap attention for yourself; at the expense of America and it’s great heritage!
Why I wonder aren’t you in Communist China, living the life or better yet, getting your backside over to North Korea and chewing this cud and crud of yours all day everyday with Kim, while he has his henchmen bash your head in for opening your mouth when not asked to; or better yet go for broke and head on over to Iran and tell them how screwy that Ayatollah and all his Mullahs are and “get your party hat for that one!” Yea man, Lesley Gore; “it’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to!” Yea you really need a more “free nation” and place to say; what a wonderful place I’m in, and how perfect this one has evolved over say; America, which is such a damned shithole!
My mom would have a great old tune for you, which she could sing with her beautiful classically trained voice for you to think about, as you take that slow boat to China; “HIT THE ROAD JACK;” “Hit the road Jack, and don’cha come back / No more, no more, no more, no more / Hit the road Jack, and don’cha come back no more.” And Ray Charles was a “Blind and Happy Black American” that I love, for the man and artist he was; always appreciating all he had in “America” who was born in Georgia and passed on to God while at his beautiful mansion in Beverly Hills California in 2004! And I know he made that song dynamite many years ago just for people like you; GO FIGURE! The man could see light years beyond this place called Earth while you barely see your own image in the mirror!

Sunday’s Washington Post is marking the Fourth of July by metaphorically miniaturizing the Statue of Liberty to a tiny, hypocritical figurine that sits on a fingertip. The author of this flaming bag of rhetorical feces is Philip Kennicott, the Post‘s perenially dyspeptic art and architecture critic.
The headline is “Lady Liberty’s shrinking appeal.” Kennicott’s theme is obvious, that Donald Trump and the Republicans ruined the pro-immigrant spirit of the monument: “The noble sentiments of the poem by Emma Lazarus — ‘give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free’ — were all but effaced in the past four years of strident and often violent anti-immigrant sentiment.”
Kennicott wrote Lady Liberty is gauche: “compared with other icons of national identity, it is ambiguous and ambivalent. As familiar to some Americans as the flag, the statue is just as meaningless or foreign to others, a sign without significance…
