Memories and BUCK!

Another pure thought that came to my heart and soul due to this Pet JOE passing in a violent attack like this was something so classic and brazen in my heart forever!  I always loved Jack London and especially his great classic “Call of the Wild!”  From when I was a boy I would romanticize the whole Northwest Territory and Alaska of days gone by; but the thing that got to me like really deep in my soul was the dogs, and all of them but especially the key dog in that classic tale which makes me cry now thinking about his brave loving heart! Buck – A powerful dog, half St. Bernard and half sheepdog!  Good God what a beautiful sentient animal being I would love to die if I must in that remote place isolated and pure from all of humanity and chaos with a team of dogs mushing through the snow and with a lead or key dog like Buck!  I would want to just keep on going like that for countless years feeling the awe and magnificence of life, as you would in that backdrop of pure reality and being in touch with the soul of Nature and all those Sentient Beings in Unison with your own Spirit!  God, I can feel it now sitting here!

Pushing Elephants to Extinction

THE END, JUDGMENT DAY!

Yes it does quite sadly and horrifically continue to be a GENOCIDE!  Because there is Zero Accountability and the mismanagement of Nations; too many corrupted officials or stupid peoples that only care about continuing their petty lives of menial sustenance and reproducing more of the same generation after generation; producing a self-sustaining scourge upon the planet!   This is a War across the entire planet, and the true enemy is mankind!

And saying the current President of the United States of America just doesn’t care is a lot of hot air!  How many governments are there in Africa?  Have you found out how many of those leaders care?  How about the millions of people in Africa, how many of them care?  How about the entire Communist China Party members or people there in China that use Ivory for carvings and trinkets or make magic potions with animal parts; actually care?  Get the point?  No matter how much Trump cares will not change the EQUATION!!! Too many conflicting, crazy, stupid humans that are F-king up the planet and each other and MOST DON’T CARE!!!  You will never get enough of the authorities or peoples to be on the same page and STOP ALL CARNAGE!!!  It’s called a SLIPPERY SLOPE; that goes one way and ends up with one result!  We that care about these matters are a minute fraction of the population overall!  Go figure, and here we are talking about how bad and when will it stop?  One fast way would be for massive numbers of the human race to suddenly vanish or be obliterated, that would push the needle in the opposite direction!  Gee, maybe the Rapture should come very soon, that would get a sizable number of humans off this planet!  Better yet, that would still not solve the problem, so maybe it all comes down to it will all stop or end when it is THE END, JUDGMENT DAY!   I for one will love it!  AMEN

All Species Must Be Protected

Such is the dichotomy of life the inner and outer conflict that is perpetual and unrelenting!

In the vitally important matter to hopefully deter the Government from rolling back ESA and other protections for many Apex predators; which would be basically saying it’s open season on them to anyone who hunts or trophy kills wildlife! As many of you know wolves have only made a comeback in recent decades because they were given endangered species protections and reintroduced in a number of locations to once again allow for a diverse gene pool from which to breed and be sustainable; with this action all of that hard fought for progress will be erased in no time at all! There are those who believe that wildlife have been afforded too many protections and to them it should be the rule of survival of the fittest so Nature can take care of itself. But that is completely false because placing man’s activities into the equation creates an unnatural imbalance from the get goes in which all bets are off and species become targets for extinction! Also, when these and other animals roamed wide swathes of territory in massive numbers sustainability wasn’t an issue, but in the last 100 years man has exploited so much territory and overextended his hunting practices for purely sporting purposes along with classifying them as vermin due to their attacking farm raised herd livestock; many species were nearly wiped out until the Endangered Species Act Protections were put into place to afford these endangered animals an opportunity to regain their foothold in the Eco-system. They’ve only come back in recent years to barely sustainable levels and have many more strikes against them with less territory to roam and fewer food sources from which to have a consistent healthy diet; and their not being able to connect with other Grizzly populations and recolonize large still existing wild areas where they historically roamed such as the Salmon-Selway Ecosystem in Idaho.

As an example of my own perspective and advocacy work in promoting continued protections for many of our Iconic Wildlife Species, I’m listing the following petition I wrote and circulated a couple of years ago to garner support in getting the government to reverse course on removing in particular the Grizzly Bear from ESA Protections!

The Attack upon America’s Iconic Grizzly Bear

Here I list just some immediate sore points that would result from the De-listing of Grizzly Bears in the Yellowstone area from Endangered Species Act (ESA) protections.

Blood lust is encouraged when trophy hunts are allowed resulting in more unnecessary targeting and killing of Grizzly Bears for this selfish practice.

Because Grizzly bears roam over large swaths of land or territories and obviously know nothing about human state boundaries, they will be unprotected when they leave the safety of Yellowstone National Park. Furthermore, to turn over control of the bears to multiple states would mean that one state could have a shoot on sight rule while still others may have a more regulated approach. This would mean that if many bears roam into the shoot on sight area that number of bears could be destroyed causing a negative impact upon the species as a whole, while the additional fallout consequence of this would be a reduction in a diverse gene pool for the bears causing yet untold damage to the species over time.

Overall, the bears should continue to be managed as Endangered Species until true recovery has been reached.

Specific Points to Consider (as presented by The Sierra Club)

  • “Grizzly bears are an essential piece of the American West, a wildlife icon that has been integral to the Yellowstone region for centuries.
  • Thanks to the Endangered Species Act Grizzly bears are making a remarkable recovery, but they remain vulnerable due to shifting food sources, isolation, and an increase in preventable conflicts with hunters and livestock. Now is not the time to strip them of endangered species protections.
  • After two centuries of decline Grizzly bears are just now beginning to rebound in the northern Rocky Mountains and around Yellowstone, occupying less than 2% of their historic range.
  • The growth rate of the population has been stagnant since the early 2000s because more bears are dying as a result of conflicts with hunters and livestock, and fewer cubs are surviving to adulthood.
  • Grizzly bears in the Yellowstone region should be allowed to grow in number and distribution, so they can connect with other Grizzly populations and recolonize large existing wild areas where they historically roamed such as the Salmon-Selway Ecosystem in Idaho.”

The Federal Governments About Face Regarding Grizzly Bears

I have a unique perspective from which to observe and look at this matter of growing concern by many good fellow Americans.  I see how the plan to De-list the Grizzly Bear from the Endangered Species Act (ESA) protections is becoming more of a spiritual battle between right and wrong or good and evil.  Far too many hard fought achievements’ or successful programs for the restoration of our environment or Eco-system are being threatened with elimination by what I believe the Pope in Rome has called “an atmosphere of indifference,” by which certain members of society are encouraged to act with impunity or no need for accountability thereby causing pain, suffering and destruction at an alarming rate across the Planet.  I know this to be true because even I was attacked by this growing lack of accountability which happened right in my work environment when those entrusted with my safety felt compelled to ignore what is right in order that selfish intolerance, or lack of humanity was allowed to advance its corrupted agenda upon the innocent, causing serious bodily injury by lack of following any appropriate protocol.  Here too with the Grizzly Bears I see an attack upon their slow recovery from a nearly complete decimation just decades ago to a place where their continued survival has been encouraged and brought back from the brink, to a level that is closer to achieving a permanent foothold and proper place once again, within the natural order of the environment which they have always been a part of.

I see the web of life as a tapestry that is woven together in very intricate and sometimes delicate ways were all the individual strands make up the whole and give it a combined strength that won’t fall apart as long as all of the individual strands remain intact.  If we as Americans allow this De-listing to occur it would be akin to again saying that “indifference” is the order of the day and it doesn’t matter what happens to these magnificent members of the Rocky Mountain Region of these United States of America, when in fact it does matter.

Because we are all Americans regardless of what part of the country we find ourselves residing, and this great land of ours with all of its natural beauty as well as diversity belongs to all of us, we all should take pride in protecting and in many cases restoring valuable species back to sustainable or balanced natural levels that had been stripped away in the past due to bad policies or even the lack of any.  I truly believe that to De-list these bears will be a move toward a not good policy for the bears, while subjecting them to an agenda of indifference and destruction which will cause substantial harm to these great mammals or their continued viability, along with further damage to our beautiful natural environment.  It’s been said, “The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”  I honestly believe that the majority of Americans are good and see these relaxing of restrictions or laws as being wrong and as another assault upon our shared tremendously important natural resources that we shouldn’t allow to happen.   That’s why it’s so imperative for all Americans regardless of which area of this great country of ours you call home,  to speak up for the Grizzly Bear by calling or writing to your Senators and Congressmen, along with signing the petitions that are now being circulated by concerned groups of Americans like the Sierra Club.

Wrapping up:

All anyone need to do regarding vast wild wilderness locations like Alaska and “native species” remaining intact there is to read the work of one of my all-time favorite authors and human beings to grace this planet, Jack London!!! He is an Icon to me; to have come up with his Iconic “Call of The Wild” novel.  In it expressing his clear perspective of what Nature and Wildlife are all about and why God created these magnificent entities along with us humans; who should be in awe and serving Nature as good stewards and shepherds!  If we didn’t have Nature and the “Wild Things,” you know we would be on a living Hell planet!  Think about our solar system alone, how vast but starkly devoid of precious living breathing Nature, which we take for granted here; even in its abundance here the rarity or miracle of it with so many beautiful species like giraffes, elephants, lions, bears, wolves and many others that are on the brink of extinction; but in contrast the lack of such things throughout our solar system cries out “preservation” and “protection” at all times!!! We must do this job right, and we can only do it if all countries work together toward the common righteous goal of saving our planet’s WEB OF LIFE!

In Conclusion, I’m barely scratching the surface of getting the work done that must be continued far beyond my mere lifetime, so I am just little old me plugging along thinking and attempting to touch something out there in the big wide world and let it know I care!  I know there is far too much of the opposite as I personally experienced that harsh reality and sinful nature of mankind in vivid color and still, I see all the good that is out there struggling to survive just like me and you!  So along the way if I can look back and drawing my last breathe I can look out and say at least I did try to care, even if my attempts fell short of the mark my heart knows I did right, that fine advocates, will count for something in this maze of grandiose and bottom of the barrel contrasts or contradictions!  Such is the dichotomy of life the inner and outer conflict that is perpetual and unrelenting!  Peace

The Murder of a Giraffe in South Africa

Signed.  No more hunting, animals are not here for our entertainment .

Thank you Lin for stepping in to help this critically important cause for powerful advocacy now! I agree with you 100%, but I must candidly tell you that anyone with half a brain can see that this great animal species is on its way out of existence and to kill one of them is absolutely wrong, and under these circumstances makes it a SIN and a Crime in God’s eyes!!! The South African Government should see it the same way but again evil is influencing humans to make bad decisions and do evil in the world and in this case money is the temptation to sin!!! What makes it worse is to kill this great bull male that had great genes that were long tried and proven genes which would be able give his species a fighting chance of surviving past another generation of humans is a most heinous and  derelict thing to do!!!

This murder was not just this one magnificent example of his species but was a death blow and almost final nail in the coffin of the entire species! That is why I have to repeat at this time the problem is not just the simple age old problem of protecting beautiful species of animals but it is now a fight between actual good and evil!

A movie that relates to this very idea but not so much in the sense of typical Christian thinking of God the creator and the Devil; is the old Tom Cruise film titled “Legend,” in it The Lord of all that is Darkness portrayed by the actor (Tim Curry) tries to take over the world by slaying two unicorns.

Like in that film we now see endangered or quite rare creatures of God’s are being murdered in this example by this wicked puny woman that thinks she is great and powerful with her high powered rifle taking down this large bull giraffe! This is beyond sick and deranged or drunk with power lust, but is PURE EVIL at work! What I would like to tell that low life bitch is why didn’t you show us how brave and powerful you are and walk your punk ass right up to this great animal with a hunters Bowie knife and try getting him that way? She killed with a bullet from a distance because she is a weak, little punk ass, spineless coward, and runt chicken of a woman!

And this all proves we are watching EVIL at work as the human race is being infected by the most powerful of evil influences, Satan! Be preparing yourself for a very tragic and horrid future my friend, because the way things are going with so many humans doing wicked things to God’s creation or being oblivious to truth and doing the right thing; we are surely getting very close to the precipice and end of the world as we know it!  God Bless You!!!

Lawrence M. It’s so wrong on all levels. All pursuits irrespective of cultural / historical significance should also cease now. They had their place, it’s time to move on from them. We as humans now know a little more on animals and our relationships with them. So to criticize other countries on what they do still to animals, when we also do similar is no better. We all need to practice better care and management on animals.

Extremely so, that does point out the true evil sickness in the hearts and souls of some humans walking this earth today, here a little woman seeking power and glory in this manner which is beyond belief; but there it is right before our eyes, absolute evil corrupting absolutely with the most evil source of evil!

Lawrence M. Agree, with a gun they are empowered and I find that rather alarming and dangerous

That is my point also Lin the use of weapons such as these should perhaps be restricted to inanimate target shooting not killing Magnificent Beautiful Creatures of God’s!  The governments are responsible because they are in place to maintain civil obedience to proper behavior and for enacting or enforcing laws to do so!

There is definitely a problem in South Africa just as there is in the USA or China and just about anywhere!  Point here was that this Great species was murdered this time in South Africa so the focus is duly placed upon their entire Government for allowing this!  I intend on contacting them directly myself!

Appreciation for God’s Bounty of Life

The people that show no compassion for living things and carry out acts of cruelty against any of them; then thinking they are getting away with it are dead wrong, as there is an accounting and judgment for all conscious decisions that every person makes! Obviously there are those people that don’t fear God because they have no belief; they are in for a rude awakening when their lives come to a tragic, hopeless end!!! Animals Are Sentient Beings!

GOD’S LOVE FOR ANIMALS

By: Lisa Barnaby

November 5, 2006

God is the creator of everything. He breathed life into animals and man, and made them living souls. We can see a manifestation of the love of God reflected in a mother caring for her new born child and tending to its every need. Likewise, as a mother bear protects her cub from danger, God is always watching over us, protecting us from evil. “The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all His creation” (Psalm 145:9). God created man and animals according to His infinite love and wisdom. “O Lord, how many are Your works! You made them all in wisdom. The earth is full of what You have made. There is the wide sea full of both large and small animals. There are too many for us to number” (Psalm 104:24-25 NLV). God values everything He created, including animals, and He wants only the best for them. In this paper I will discuss God’s love for animals. God was pleased with His animal creation. I believe God derived tremendous joy from watching mice scurrying in the grass, dolphins playing in the water, monkeys swinging through the trees and dogs chasing their tails! God delighted in seeing His creation enjoying the life that He gave them. He wanted only good to come to His animals.

The Fall of Man

Now at this time there was no death, pain or violence; there was only life, joy, peace and blessings. God provided man and animals a perfect environment within which to live, where all their needs were met. God’s plan was to pour out His goodness on them forever. But something went wrong. For God had issued a command to Adam when He said, “…You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” (Genesis 2:16-17 AMP). Adam disobeyed God’s command and as a result, the entire creation fell and became subjected to death and destruction. The Bible depicts vegetarianism as God’s ideal, and the diet conforms to the central biblical principle of stewardship. In Eden, God found everything “very good” immediately after giving both humans and animals a vegetarian diet (Gen. 1:29–31). Several prophecies, such as Isaiah 11:6–9, foresee a return to this vegetarian world, where the wolf, lamb, lion, cow, bear, snake, and little child all coexist peacefully. Christian vegetarians believe we should strive towards the harmonious world Isaiah envisioned — to try to live in accordance with the prayer that Jesus taught us, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven” (Matt. 6:10).

While the Bible describes Adam’s “dominion” over animals (Gen. 1:26, 28), we believe “dominion” here conveys sacred stewardship, since God immediately afterward prescribed a vegetarian diet (Gen. 1:29–30) in a world God found “very good” (1:31). Genesis 2:18–19 relates, “Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him'” and God then created animals. This passage indicates that animals were made as Adam’s companions and helpers, not his food. God endowed pigs, cattle, sheep, and all farmed animals with their own desires and needs, which is apparent when these animals are given an opportunity to enjoy life. For example, pigs are curious, social, and more intelligent than cats or dogs. Pigs can even play some video games better than monkeys. Similarly, chickens enjoy one another’s company and like to play, dust bathe, and forage for food. Jesus compared his love for us to a hen’s love for her chicks (Luke 13:34).

My own closing thoughts.

My friends we must elevate our collective consciousness out of the hellish pit of futile despair and lack of hope into this more angelic view of what gifts God has given to us as his children! The animals are our friends and they want to share the joy of life with us, not be commercially produced to be eaten by us!!! Begin the journey to enlightenment now if you haven’t already! God’s blessings to you and our friends always, in Jesus the living Christ Amen!

The Alien Within

We Are The Aliens

“We humans breed, slaughter and consume many species of animals which makes us all mass killers”

Humans methodically go about doing this to so many of the animal species on this planet, most of the time giving little if any thought about what it must be like to be one of those innocent animals that lives such a controlled unnatural life, only to be later murdered and eaten by humans to satisfy their barbaric appetite for flesh!

The proper goal is to end all animal EXPLOITATION, and the public should DEMAND it, but they go on eating and stuffing their selfish faces abandoning any real concern of the animals they consume!!! We have all read or watched Alien Invasion stories where these foreign beings aren’t compassionate and are rather cold, calculating and hostile toward we humans; they are sinister creatures that seek to control us and suck our life force from our very inner core leaving behind perhaps something akin to so much dandruff, like dust in the wind!!! Yet, ironically throughout our history as we have written or read about such monsters, it appears to have been without stopping to recognize the “simple truth;” that the evil creatures we write and read about are in fact what we have become!!!

Where does that creature belong

“Human Creatures”

via Daily Prompt: Creature

The word creature has both good and bad connotations when I see the word or think of it. Most people would recall hearing the term “they’re all God’s little creatures.” Many of us were fascinated by Hollywood versions of creatures, like “The Creature from the Black Lagoon,” or “Sea Creatures from Outer Space,” and so many others that sometimes were frightening while others were laughable. But, to me the most important piece of work from my perspective about creatures by any artist or in this case an author is James Herriot, which is the pen name for Alf Wight. His book “All Creatures Great and Small,” chronicles the many experiences of a veterinarian who finds that the realities of veterinary practice in rural Yorkshire England are drastically different from the sterile or controlled setting of veterinary school. In this literary work I found the deeper significance of “our fellow creatures” that we inhabit the planet with, along with those whose charge it is to care for them when in need. My appreciation increased dramatically by the sharing of this window into a world and area of medicine that I along with countless others have taken for granted far too often! This book helped me to understand how oblivious I was to the varied nuances and difficulties that our fellow creatures experience in life; while at the same time these dedicated people who to me are no less than heroes that take due diligence to the highest level, while providing treatment and care to so many simple but beautiful creature beings.

Throughout life my appreciation has grown and increased to an intensity that I now find myself many times wanting to know all creatures better and whenever possible to help in some way by offering myself up to the task at hand. I have rescued a small flock of farm ducks next to an interstate highway that got out of their pen and were about to try crossing where there was no crossing! I averted disaster and although no one was sure who they actually belonged to. I kept them in my garage temporarily which got a bit messy, but it was a short stay because it didn’t take long to find out who knew what to do with them. I remembered reading an article about a couple that had an animal farm which had become a menagerie of sorts where some people who had to move or had other life altering events occurring in their lives would bring many little creatures, from alpacas to bunnies and all kinds in between! But, once I got them to the right kind of people who knew how to help them, they were permanently placed on a beautiful tranquil farm with a pond, barn and enclosed adjoining area for them to “free roam!” I’ve many times rescued injured or orphaned wildlife from a certain bitter end, and then turned them over to caring hands of rehabilitators which in turn eventually led to seeing these creatures get their, “second chance!”

I know from my experiences that this world wouldn’t be worth living in it if not for all the “Creatures Great and Small,” that are part of our lives here on earth as “humans,” or if you will allow me, we “Human Creatures,” which also can conjure up good and bad connotations! Without going on about that last point, which I will leave for another writing sometime, suffice it to say that I’ve experienced firsthand many cases of countless “creatures great and small,” that I would prefer to be sharing my life with, rather than some of the human kind I’ve run into or had to deal with out of necessity!
